Absolute shocking department in…
Absolute shocking department in Broadway Bradford,spent over £500 on Spectacles 8 months ago,aftermarket service is crap,went to get them adjusted a month later as they marking my nose,the guy i saw acted like it was too much effort
I've accidentaly scratched 1 lense and have to replace both(nothing wrong with other).
No options apart from,replace both or buy more frames,these was expensive designer and basically no good now.
Staff are not the best.
As the saying goes......"should've gone to Specsavers".
OBSTINANT COMPANY !!

I used to go to a different opticians and never felt comfortable with the atmosphere. Here at Halifax I genuinely feel looked after. Lovely staff. From having the eye tests to choosing my gigs I never felt pressured into something I didn't want. I felt that my eye test was done 100% correctly double making sure that I was sure with each step. I left having my eye test thinking my glasses are going to be sharp. Then I was given time to choose the right glasses. I was with the Mrs and youngest. So we was on the hunt for 4 pair of glasses 2 for me 2 for the wife. Resulted in getting what we wanted and the youngest was fine if anything she had fun. The staff was truly amazing doing everything they could to get us the best deal. They made sure we had the right spec for our glasses. A lovely experience in getting eye test to choosing glasses. Well done Halifax Boots Opticians. Look forward to seeing you again. 🤩👍

Thorough examination after my cataract operation 5 weeks ago. Pleasant visit with everything explained clearly. Two new pairs of glasses which are very reasonably priced plus Boots points.

Went in with my glasses broken from a festival and needing my glasses as travelling from London to Halifax tomorrow with no spare pair!!
They couldn't fix mine but replaced my frames and wouldn't charge me!!!
To the lovely, I think Spanish lady who served me at 2pm at Wimbledon boots, thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience and would highly recommend
As soon as we walked in the Grimsby opticians it was lovely and clean and very comfortable, the staff were all very welcoming and professional especially Ferrari who helped me choose my frames I never felt rushed at anytime and the optician was very good and made me comfortable.
All the staff are a credit to Boots Opticians.

Excellent service
From arriving at reception, through the different tests and choosing my new glasses, all the staff members were friendly, courteous and professional. I felt that everything was done with the utmost care, accuracy and expertise.

I was looked after quickly and everything ran on time, but most of all my optician was wonderful. last time I came for an appointment I did not feel comfortable and didn't enjoy it at all, but yesterday she couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Her name was Saffah at Solihull.

Excellent visit
After only a short wait I was dealt for the eye tests very efficiently and the subsequent consultation with the optician was very professional & useful in persuading me to accept a referral for a cataract operation. No pressure to purchase anything and friendly staff.

My daughter received 2 reminders for an…
My daughter received 2 reminders for an eye test, she doesn't have to pay as she has the NHS certificate. She got there, and the optician said she wasn't overdue, although she HAD received 2 reminders. She was asked.if she wanted to pro eed amd she said yes. She was not told she would have to pay. She HAD to pay and no matter how much we said she had reminders from, they said she wasn't due. This upset her truly. They said she would.have to return another day to talk to a manager to ask for a maybe possible refund. She was upset amd after being a client and patient from Boots for 20 years, since she was a baby, she said she will never return to Boots. Boots has lost a life time.customer due to miscommunication and upsetting a young person. A real shame. All to do with admin issues.on the system. It is not right nor fair.

My Husband and I visited the Newcastle Boots Branch (3354) last week and we're served by Helen. Her knowledge and understanding of how glasses should sit to feel comfortable in your face was outstanding. I visited Boots Opticians in Chesham over several weeks, first for an eye examination, then for contact lens trials, and finally to order a new pair of glasses. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.
Every member of the team has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and patient throughout the whole process. They took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. Their professionalism is matched by their genuine warmth.
It's clear that everyone in the store genuinely cares about what they do and wants to make sure their customers receive the best possible care and advice. That level of commitment really stands out and is very much appreciated.

Friendly staff
All was good apart from not being contacted to say my glasses were ready; I had to phone them after hearing nothing for over 4 weeks, only to be told that my glasses were ready for collection. They had been marked as multiple, although I had only ordered one pair.
