This is a more authentic and professional place, the website was very easy to use and manage.

Easy readable stats on how many people are looking, so can monitor advertisement.
Easy to post add on the carsales network.
Easy to liaise with others.
My bike was sold by the first person to view and sold for asking price.

Absolutely no contacts for the bike, minus the scammer via email.
Would rather use a free service that gets more traffic (FB marketplace)

Easy process, believe by paying for the ad people would know I was a serious seller.
Good that it gives detailed specs. about the bike.

It works. Just be patient and realistic on price.

I posted the bike on Tuesday sold it on Wednesday. Had it on FB and Gumtree. Had 3 enquiries on FB. No result. Nothing at all from Gumtree. Was trying to avoid paying the $75 required to advertise on Bikesales. But it was worth it. Recommend BS. Obviuosly more folks looking at BS.

Very easy to create an ad and obviously the place to advertise. Everything is nice and simple and the ads look just right. Traffic to the ad is reported regularly and allows you to see if you've pitched the correct price quickly.

Add worked well, unfortunately alot of enquiries were from dealers offering rediculous sale price

The ad was easy to construct and allowed me plenty of text space to present an ad that I hoped would give the viewer a good summary of the bike and it's capabilities.

Photos were easy to load up, but I did take my time to take the range of detailed photos that I look for when browsing. I chose not to do a video.

I advertised with bikesales.com because I believe it to be the "go to" site for the advertising of used motorcycles, for most riders. The quality of the ad does give an indication of the qualities of the owner, in my opinion. The bikesales ad format does allow for the bike to present well to viewers.

The first week report on my ad was very surprising in terms of statistics. I was happy to see the activity was very high. That said, there was only one sincere enquirer that contacted me repeatedly within days of my ad listing. He was extremely determined in his efforts to negotiate the price down, even before he'd seen the bike, or ridden it.
The next genuine enquiry came from its new owner. He came, he saw, he rode, he paid full asking price, and the funds were in my account within 24 hours.

I was able to provide full details of the motorbike for sale. The process was easy. Potential buyers had detailed and sufficient information to focus their search. I only received well-informed serious enquiries. This resulted in an easy and efficient sale for buyer and seller. Recommended.

My bike sold within 2 months at a reasonable price. Posting was very easy. Much cheaper to sell than on ebay, and better than facebook in terms of what people expect (too much low negotiating on facebook, and people not seriously interested). One thing that didn't work so well was when I received messages on the ad. To avoid notifications that weren't important I disabled notifications on my phone for the app. I would have to check my messages on the app or website because I didn't get notified with messages. I think a good option would be to switch off notifications for everything but messages (Maybe this is a thing but I didn't find it).
Overall pleased with the experience and would recommend!

The volume of time wasters and scammers on this platform exceeds the effort made by Bikesales to prevent this. For this reason I cannot recommend Bikesales to others. If my ad was free I would have less of an expectation but in the case of Bikesales I have paid for a service that in my view should include making every effort to keep timewasters and scammers off the platform or at least acknowledge the problem.

Very simple, straightforward & sold very quickly. To someone who sounds like a nice bloke, which is important!
