Really bad experience. I hope they improve the service so I can consider next time.

Staff at Big Bear Vacations went out of their way to make our weekend with friends a success!

Home was not as it seemed on the website. It was in rough shape. Wet carpet. Oven didn't work. Everything seemed to be just falling apart.

We had a wonderful time at Big Bear Cabins! We loved that there was such a big yard in which the kids could play in the snow! The cabin was very comfy! There were several items that had holes (couch, rug, etc.), which is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5; I believe the price could have been a bit lower given those areas in need of repair. Otherwise, though, our family had a WONDERFUL time and I would highly recommend!

Wanted to love this place. The front desk people were amazing and friendly. Wish the cabin was inspected prior to rental. I selected this cabin for the jacuzzi tub and fire place. Neither worked. Waisted 1 out of 2 days of my trip waiting to have it fixed . bottom line i gave up another jaccuzzi cabin for this one and it wasnt working. I was hoping management would switch me to another cabin but no manager was available at all until check out morning. Really dissapointed. Filled out a complaint. Was told we would be contacted. Weeks later nothing. Sad my kids had to have a frustrated mom for their only vacation of the year.?cant get that time back

Great cabin within five minute walking distance to village. Location location! Had a great little private sledding hill behind the home. Comfy and cozy. Only thing to mention, which they generally tell you prior to renting, bring your own coffee because it's not supplied. I would definitely rent here again.

Booking fee for 1 night was $578 for a one bedroom cabin. Upon arrival there were empty beer cans all over the front porch. Inside the thermostat was broken and hanging off the wall. We were in the dead of winter so that was horrible. Beds were broken. Furniture and fixtures were cheap and not maintained. Back porch looked like a disaster. The whole place looked like a frat house was there the night before. I honestly don't even know if the place was clean. I informed Big Bear Vacations about the whole experience and how awful it was. They did not comp the night and only gave me a small portion off the bill. Will never stay at one of their places again. RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!!

Had an incredible stay with Big Bear Vacations in Febuary of 2019. Our cabin was beautiful, so comfortable and cozy. It had all the comforts of home, all of of that combined with the picturesque snow covered landscapes with the peace and quiet of nature makes for all time memorable vacation. The Big Bear Vacations staff was so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. My family and I are already planning our next stay.

Fantastic cabin! Everything from check in process with very kind personnel, to the overall property was excelent. The unit is recently remodeled and looks very nice. Beds are comfortable, place is very clean. Location is walking distance to Bear mountain. Pictures on the site describe perfectly well the overall of the unit. I would definitely stay here again next time.

Perfect location on the lake. The cabin was comfortable but a little tired. It could use sprucing up. In addition to the provided bath towels, a kitchen towel would have been nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great home to stay in. Close to lake. Beautiful views. Loved our stay, will definitely stay here again in the future.

This company is a truly professional property management firm. They know their business. I was impressed with how responsive they were and their process for locating and returning (by mail) personal property that I mistakenly left behind in our rental condo. My only issue with this company is that the documentation to rent is voluminous, onerous and a little insulting. As a real estate lawyer, I recognize all of the legal and practical issues with renting property, but when there is more documentation than you see in a short-term rental form promulgated by C.A.R., that is unconscionable. People will not read it, and some of the statements and waivers required to be signed off on are way beyond the legal comprehension of most people.

I completed the online registration however some reasons when I physically checked it was not there. Had to step aside and check on my phone and internet connection was horrible.

Lucky I have saved my email for references. I had to get back online and show proof. Also keep in mind there was a line.

Secondly the line for check in was confusing there was no structure. There was a group already in line and a new person came in and got in another line. She was served immediately, prior to that no one said there was two lines.

I'm currently trying to work out a refund with management but they've ignored my past two emails. I'll follow-up here with resolution.

The house is beautiful with an amazing view and walking distance to the lake. We had snow while we were there and enjoyed our time.

FURNACE WAS WORKING, BUT "NOISEY" EACH TIME IT WOULD TURN ON IT WOULD WAKE YOU UP!
OVERSIZE FURNITURE IN BED ROOM, COULDN'T WALK TO BED WITHOUT ALMOST TRIPPING ON ROCKER. OVERSIZED BED END TABLE TURNED SIDE WAYS FACING CLOSET DOOR (COULDN'T USE UNLESS YOU OPEN CLOSET DOOR, TABEL TO MIRROR).
KITCHEN SINK - EACH TIME WASHED DISHES, YOU'D GET WASHED. NEEDED NEW WASHER ON FAUCET OR NEW FAUCET AND NO CAN OPENER TO OPEN OUR CAN FOODS (CABIN HAD CHEAP FLIMSY ONE THAT WOULDN'T WORK). HAD TO USE KNIFE TO OPEN CANS.
DOORS - FRONT ENTRANCE AND ENTRY TO GAME ROOM "SQUEAKED" EACH TIME YOU'D OPEN IT.
WATER- WASN'T VERY HOT. HAD TO WASH DISHES 2-1 TIMES TO GET GREASE OFF DISHES. SHOWERS DIDN'T STAY HOT ENOUGH TO COMPLETE YOUR SHOWER.
GARBAGE IN FRONT PORCH CAN WAS FULL OF FROZEN WATER AND GARBAGE.
CABIN- STATED NO PETS AND EACH TIME I SWEPT FOUND ANIMAL HAIR. THERE WAS EVEN A CHEWED UP DOG TOY ON KITCHEN PARTITION (GROSS). HAD A 10 MONTH BABY CRAWLING ON FLOOR, WORRIED SHED EAT THE HAIR!

Great place to stay, very near the Snow summit resort (5 min walk). Taking 1 star away because something was wrong with the hot tub and we had to call a few times to get it fixed. Thus we only ended up using the second night. Please preheat it next time a few hours before guest arrival. Also, we were not allowed to leave out cars at the house for a few hours after we checked out. Nice experience overall, the house itself is wonderful!
