I’ve just received my second order from Bennetts. Whilst i must compliment them for the tenderness of the various steaks in my first order, what I’ve received looks nothing like the items set out in their shop display on YouTube. The boxes arrived on the day agreed and looked to be of a good quality. However as I said above, the items look absolutely nothing like their advertised items. Mr. Bennett tells us to support our local butchers and after my latest delivery, I think I will take his advice.

Never fail to impress, pure quality. Never buy meat from a supermarket again. Go to your butcher's for alot better quality and price 👍

This was my second order,the first order was placed for home delivery and was never received,despite photographic evidence proving this beyond any doubt it took months to receive a refund.bennetts stopped responding to the point my bank intervened to force a refund.as I wanted to support local businesses I decided to try again but this time I ordered to collect my order in person from the store,items were missing from my order which was only noticed because we checked ourselves.we politely informed them of this mistake,there response was firstly that nothing was missing,we politely asked them to check the bags we had received 2mins ago which they did and agreed items were missing..mistakes happen I understand that my issue is the reaction,there was no apology just the opposite as if it was me in the wrong or I was being untruthful..I spent over £100 the first time and had to fight for a refund even though I could and did provide undeniable evidence my order was never received,the second time I spent over £180 and collected my order so that delivery wasn’t an issue yet still items paid for missing and service received far from professional..I wanted to support a local business and gave them more than one chance unfortunately I won’t be using this company again

We ordered fillet steak, braising steak, b12 mince, chicken and ox cheeks.
The b12 mince smelt so bad I could not describe it, I couldn’t even bring myself to cook it for the dog. The top two slices of fillet steak in the pack were looking good but the two underneath had all sinew running through them. The braising steak was nothing like on the tv it was not lean, it was completely full of fat and gristle. The chicken was okay but not great. The ox cheeks were also full of fat. We were really disappointed after being excited to find a butcher online who we would have made a regular purchase from if it had been decent. Sorry I would not recommend.

All i can say is WOW, great butchers, large portion sizes on the Lamb steaks and chicken breasts.Haven't got round to the short ribs yet but i'm sure they'll be delicious in the slow cooker. Highly recommended and will definitely buy again.

The meat was delivered at the correct time. The meat looked good. We realised we had two packs missing so we emailed the company and never received an email or any acknowledgement back from them which we think is very unprofessional of any company. Very disappointed and will never order from this butchers again

Item arrived well packed, the rump joint was massive, we sliced a lot of steaks from it and left a good joint for roasting very happy with what we had.

You get what you pay for without a load of waffle Ito make it appear to be something that it isn’t. Good, honest Yorkshire sales pitch and the product is abit tasty as well

Parcel arrived approximately 330 in the afternoon the packaging was very wet and needed to be washed before it could be refrigerated. Only one ice block in there. but it was still cold enough The ribs were more fat than meat and it was the very hard fat not the nice flavoursome fat I took over a kilo of hard fat off of the ribs so that was disappointing. The rib themselves cooked up and were very very nice. I purchased another pack and I will take a photograph and send it when I open them the rest of the meat looks very good

As usual fantastic quality of meat at a fantastic price.

The order came a day late, so had been in transit for 2 days min. With 1 small cool pad that never kept it cold. The box was damaged dripping with blood. All the contents were contaminated with blood from different meats due the with inner packets being damaged. It looked like the meat had been frozen and had defrosted. My wife has cancer and we couldn't take the risk of eating the contaminated meat. £120 in the bin. I complained and was told by them that thats the risk of buying online. I wouldn't even give the 1 star. Keep clear of this very unpleasant butcher.

Excellent quality and prices haven't had any problems with any part of the online process A++++++
