Long fullfillment period but happy in the end.

I placed an order for a pair of limited edition shoes. Though the fulfillment phase took slightly longer than the 1-10 days the website describes, I received the shoes and was happy with them. I did reach out to the customer service on day ten after placing the order to get the status. I received a prompt response explaining they were short on staff and overwhelmed by orders. Given the holiday season this seemed reasonable, and the shoes did ship a couple of days later. All in all it was not a bad experience but the long fulfillment period is frustrating, especially without any followup from the store that they are working on the fulfillment.

A joke

A joke, I ordered one item and it took almost one month to arrive. I paid 29 euros for shipping and when it arrived, I had to pay 45 euros of import taxes. More, there is no customer service, and they do not accept returns or size change. Not worth it at all, will not buy again.

Sent wrong Item & refused Refund

They sent me the wrong Item and would not refund me the cost of the item I was expecting...

Practically theft. This brand has 0 customer service ability. Terrible support and the representative that I was emailing (Taylor) could give less of a sh** about my issue or resolution.

Update: The resolution Bodega offered was keeping the mistake they sent me OR receiving a %15 refund (initially). After this negative review they sheepishly upped it to %20. They don’t seem to understand that they should send a 100% refund as the good paid for was never received.

Never had a bad experience. Recently ordered some shoes and put in the wrong address, and it was fixed almost immediately thanks to their support team

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE. I wish we would have seen the reviews prior to ordering. Ordered on 12/12. Got a "product shipped" notification on the 12/29, and the next day received an "order cancelled" email without explanation. Seems suspect that the product shipped but was cancelled a day later. Would seek out a tried and true vendor, especially when reliability and trustworthiness are a priority.

Came to a Resolution 1/6/2022

I have amended my original post to accurately reflect my interaction with this retailer.
Although my order did not go as planned, management reached out to me to come to a resolution and went above and
beyond. They were surprisingly transparent, thoughtful, and made clear that they value their online consumers. The level of care that they offered in this instance is very rare and they showed a commitment to customer satisfaction. I think it's important to keep in mind that while you may be dissatisfied with an online retailer, the people fielding your complaints are just doing their job and the issue may be beyond their control. Working retail during the holiday season is brutal, so be assertive, but give them a little grace. That said, there are people behind the scenes at Bodega who genuinely care about their consumers and I hope that the next time I write a review about a purchase from this retailer it will be 5 stars.

I wish I could give no stars!!!! I also should have read the reviews first. They’re taking too long to ship out my orders. So I don’t even know exactly when I’ll be receiving it. It’s been a week since I placed my order and still NOTHING!!! So if you’re in a hurry to receive your items, don’t count on it. You’re wasting your money and time. I won’t ever buy from this company again.

Received wrong item!

I placed an order on 11/26/2022 didn’t receive my item until 12/20 almost a month later. But then I open the box and it is the incorrect item! I ordered a navy blue Yankee fitted hat and received a Brooklyn Dodgers royal blue fitted hat!! I emailed them to send me the correct item overnight since it was a Christmas gift and Christmas is now over and this person is now missing their gift & all they do is send me a return label to send back the incorrect item! Not even trying to assist in making up for their mistake! The worse customer service experience ever!!!

Xmas fail

My son will be getting a photo of his gift for Xmas instead of the actual gift. Their fulfillment times are super long and that was not made clear when I ordered the item. Definitely not be shopping with them again, too bad because they have nice stuff. It breaks my heart because this is my last Xmas with him as a kid.

Worst company ever

I placed an order on 11/28. They took 2 weeks to send the shipping info then said the package was lost a few days later. They found it in California and said they shipped it again for me to receive an email from UPS that the order is under investigation. DO NOT BUY from this company they are a scam. It's 12/23 and I needed this as a Christmas gift. Support from this company is also a joke. Wish I read the reviews before I ordered from here.

I ordered from them their New Balance x…

I ordered from them their New Balance x Bodega 9060 collab (the shoe, tee and hoodie) the same day of release on 12/10 at 12:05pm (drop was at 12pm) and in fear of them selling out I put two separate orders, one for the shoes and the other for the clothes. I got the shoes after 5 days. On 12/22 after 12 days of placing the order, they send me an email saying they refunded me one piece of clothing (hoodie) without any explanation!

I was one of their first few orders because it didn’t sold out immediately and still got refunded after 2 weeks of not shipping and keeping my money. I really wanted the hoodie but it’s sold out now.

I bought from them a lot and I don’t really care about taking a few extra days for shipping as long as I receive it. But this, this is unforgivable.

Don’t expect support

Be hesitant ordering any of their items that are QS, they will take liberty with your order and cancel the purchased items without notice after not meeting their given fulfillment times and overselling stock (keeping orders open for hours after they sold out).

After 2 weeks they cancelled half my order and took liberty with my order without asking what I would like to do with it.

Then when I asked for insight and help their service rep was unwilling to seek an exception for what they called a “rare“ situation and they basically refused to help me further.

Poor online store, poor fulfillment centers, and poor customer service.

I unfortunately don’t plan on returning, even if that means I miss a launch.

DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM‼️‼️‼️

Do NOT order from these people!!!! I wish I would’ve seen the reviews first! Like many others, I ordered shoes weeks ago, they took forever to ship, then they were wrongfully marked as delivered (stolen) and I never actually received them. I’ve emailed Bodega Store multiple times, and was basically told the problem is between me and the courier, they have nothing to do with it, and ONLY if the carrier admits they didn’t deliver, will I get the amount they insured it for, which is less than HALF of what I paid.
Everybody knows mail theft via couriers is at it’s HIGHEST during this time of year! So for my refund to depend on them admitting their own theft, is insane! But they were unhelpful and dismissive, making it clear they didn’t care at all, and would only refund part of the order IF the carrier admits they didn’t deliver it. Anybody who online shops, knows how unlikely and ridiculous this is!
When does a carrier ever admit to stealing a package?!
Both the rep and “store manager” were rude and unhelpful, in addition to lying about what their policy states!
It actually does NOT state in their website’s policy anywhere, that they will only refund the insured amount, and their policy also confirms they shipped my item via the wrong courier in the first place, as the couriers are different for regular domestic addresses vs PO Boxes.
Not to mention they shouldn’t be insuring packages for less than HALF the worth of the contents!
I have NEVER experienced customer service this poor. Any time I’ve had an issue with delivery with other companies, they simply refunded and apologized for the trouble if they couldn’t replace the item.
Bodega Store is REFUSING to give my money back in full, if at ALL, even though I reached out immediately about the missing package, and filed a claim. THEY chose the wrong courier based on their own policy, and refuse to assist or refund me in full.
They were supposed to ship my package via UPS (this is their policy!). They didn’t, and now my package has been stolen, and they are refusing to give me a full refund.
At this point I am reaching out to the CEO’s Jay Gordon and Oliver Mak via email, and reporting this, before I move on to the Better Business Bureau, and then my bank to block this charge.
Thankfully I have a pretty large following via my social media handles, and can warn others before they make the same mistake many of us did.
Please please PLEASE listen to these reviews, do NOT order from this company!!!! Their customer service is horrific, their shipping is awful, and if your package is stolen they will basically take your money!
***And @ Bodega, do not even BOTHER responding to me in this review. And don’t come here saying this is a “false review” like you’ve done others.
85 PERCENT OF YOUR REVIEWS ARE NEGATIVE, it’s clear YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. Multiple reps have made it clear they have no intention on refunding me in full or helping me, and have been rude enough via email. The other reviews here confirm your service is terrible! Don’t reply here pretending you are a stand-up company, and want to rectify the situation. It’s clear based on these reviews that scamming people out of their money and having bad customer service, is the regular for you.

Look, all these reviews can’t be wrong. You have been warned. I don’t care what product you see on their site DO NOT purchase! They are rude and misleading. Most importantly they take your money but good luck on ever seeing your product arrive. They say they can’t give any estimate on when a product will ship. Did my part, buy at your own risk.
