Excellent service! Andree is a gem! She is hospitable and will find you a beautiful dress and they alter beautifully!

B Chic has a lovely selection and great customer service. I was able to find a dress in-store that fit, but had some issues that needed to be fixed due to others being rough with the dress. They said they could have it ready in three days for my trip, and when it wasn't ready, they immediately had their seamstress work on it, and a staff member deliver it to my house that afternoon. I will definitely be back. For those reading, please be careful with their merchandise. So many of their beautiful dresses were ruined and could only be used as unsellable samples for sizing because of people's lack of care when trying on the products. It was heart-breaking to see, and costly for the business.

This is a beautiful, hidden boutique with a stunning selection of gorgeous dresses perfect for a special occasion. I went to Neiman’s, Saks, Bloomingdale’s; You can’t find dresses like this anywhere else on the peninsula that I know of. To add, the girls who work there feel like friends and go above & beyond to find dresses that fit & flatter. Isabel, selected a stunning dress for me and I love it! I had a minor issue with my dress and I contacted the owner who was extremely responsive and wanted to make it right immediately. When I brought my dress in, she was very sweet, listened to me and we talked about why it happened. I am very grateful that she wanted me to be happy and completely took care of the issue within minutes. Overall, great experience.

I recently bought a dress for a black-tie event from B Chic Fashions and couldn't be happier with my purchase! Evidently, the dress looked stunning on me -- cuz I received numerous compliments throughout the evening. The convenience of having an in-house alteration service was a huge plus, making sure the dress was a perfect fit.

Moreover, their customer service was exceptional. Despite their usual closing time of 5:30 PM, Andree kindly kept the store open a bit longer so I could try on dresses after work on a weekday. This extra effort made my shopping experience smooth and stress-free.

Highly recommend B Chic Fashions -- it'll definitely be my go-to for any future formal wear needs!

I had the most incredible experience I could have ever had! I’m from Washington and was flying in to San Jose for just a few hours and was pressured for time. But I called and Andree was so amazing that she made sure she had all the dresses that I was looking at available so I can try to make sure I found the right dress and the right size for me! There is no way I could have done this without her! I found my perfect dress for my pageant!! I will definitely continue to show here and tell everyone about this location!

FYI: Found B Chic via Google, lots of really good reviews so figured let's go see, right? My sisters and I always went to boutique's for prom dresses, and it's fun to shop boutiques. (Daughter is size 0 petite, we looked at retail/online stores, difficulty finding a petite dress in her size that didn't scream Mother Of The Bride.)

Nice store, nothing fancy, no appointment needed, great location, no problem finding parking. Noticed there was a 3 person lounger for family members, within view of the dressing rooms, very convenient so Fam can just sit & relax, give input on the dresses, Younger Sibs can play on their devices and Ignore Everything, and Dads can sit and stew over the fact that their Little Girl wants a dress he considers Waaaaay Too Expensive and Waaaay Too Grown Up!

Friendly staff greeted us nicely and got us started with a dressing room. You start by choosing 5 dresses you want to try on, they hold the dressing room for you. Ladies, they had lots and LOTS of dresses, all colors and styles, wow. So much to choose from! My daughter and I were really happy to see such a variety of dresses in one place, hopeful that we could find something just right.

There are a couple of things I noted during our visit, and since I was asked to give a review with friendly, constructive comments, I will mention now. While perusing, the sheer volume of dresses loaded on the racks made it difficult to see what each dress is all about, in terms of cut, style, details, etc. We LOVED the selection, and it is truly wonderful they have LOTS to choose from, but our arms got sore wrangling the dresses, shoving them this way and that, trying to get a good look at them without having to fully remove it from the tight pack of dresses. We would've loved a bit more room on the racks, to see the dresses more fully, and enjoy the browsing experience a bit more, less of an upper body workout.

Second mention is the not a big deal really, just something I was looking for and missing. There was no three way mirror, which really surprised me, for a boutique that sells gowns and prom dresses! Every girl loves the giddy, girl-squeal experience upon seeing herself in the Dress of her Dreams, standing on that pedestal, in a Three Way Mirror. I inquired about a three way mirror, clerk said something to the effect that they have one in the back but its not accessible right now, not sure what that's all about but I couldn't see one. I took photos with my phone, to show my daughter what she looks like from different angles.

Wrangling the racks of dresses was worth the effort, because we found The Dress! Daughter is in love with the dress, perfect color, style she wanted, totally jazzed. Dress was over budget, and expensive, but that's because it is completely covered in beads and sequins! Needed hemming and straps taken up a bit. At start of visit, when I looked at a few price tags, I asked how much alterations cost, and clerk said around $120.00, depending on what needed to be done. When we chose The Dress, the hem and shoulder straps were pinned for alterations, and we were quoted $150.00, which seemed high considering just a hem and straps, but then again, the fabric all is beads and sequins, and they needed to sew in a mesh backing at the hemline so the dress fabric would hang properly. Good thing we didn't need alterations in the bodice!

I was nervous that the hem be just right, for ease of movement, not damage dress, etc. and also wanted shoulder straps just right as well, so not fall off shoulder, but not cut into her shoulder either. I am so completely thrilled to say that the dress alterations were perfect, and we couldn't be happier.

Overall a really good shopping experience, and I would love to do business with B Chic Fashions again in the future.

Highly recommend B Chic! Just bought my daughter’s prom dress from this place and the service was phenomenal! It was so very easy and my daughter found her dream dress! They ordered and it came so fast. They even provide an alteration service there. It is a one stop shop and every is so kind and attentive. 10 out 10!
