Amazing selection

I bought an expensive dress from this store, and when I returned home, my daughter asked to see it. That’s when we discovered that it was torn at the chest. So I went back to the store, and they promised to fix it. The next day, I picked it up and took it to the tailor to shorten its length. Then we discovered there that it was full of sweat stains, but I couldn’t return it because the tailor had already started working on it.

There's nowhere better on the peninsula to find gowns and dresses for fancy occasions.

Everyone was super nice and helpful in finding my daughter’s perfect prom dress. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and assisted in where to look. The first dress my daughter tried we loved and the staff made the sale and alteration process seamless. Thank you B Chic fashions!

As I said on Yelp. I should have gone back to Neiman Marcus. I made an appointment with a lovely person on the phone. When I arrived, there apparently was no record of my appointment. There also was no 1-on-1 assistance. They pulled 1 dress for me. No one is readily available to assist, thankfully my husband was with me to assist, but he was treated poorly by rude staff. Employees are running around crazily and it’s not clear who is an employee or there to shop.
I was told that any dress I pick they can most likely get it in time. They have MANY to choose from! But because of that the few dresses I tried on were damaged, and it’s hard to tell what you’re looking at on the clustered racks. I really wished I would have had someone to look at the photos I was told to save for my appointment and help me locate. At this point I will admit that I was irritated and didn’t accept the very very limited assistance from that point forward because I just wanted out of there, and wanted to get my sweet husband that had been treated so poorly out of that environment.
I did find a dress to order and it was only $500!!! But when I went to check out the ladies at the register tried to send me out the door with the sample dress! Thankfully someone that must be a manager assured them I can order the dress.
Here’s to hoping my dress shows up in time.
They clearly have many gorgeous affordable gowns to choose from.
Maybe ask for a private shopping experience?

It was such an intimate and individualized experience. There are not too many places where you are helped by the store owner. She was so nice and knew exactly which dresses my daughter would love. And I really loved that we were able to take the dress home the same day. I highly recommend this store.

The store staff listened to my needs and desires and selected the PERFECT dress for me - one I may not have found on my own, or by looking at it on a hinge. They provided honest feedback for everything I tried on and were able to help me out under a short timeline (as another dress did not work out). AMAZING!! Thank you

Andre was fantastic! I was almost in tears the day before I came to B Chic because I felt so unattractive and ugly because nothing fit me in the 15 or so dresses I had already tried. I am a bigger size and I was so disheartened by the dress shopping experience. Andree however made me feel so welcomed and beautiful ! I tried on my first dress and it was the one! It was more than a shopping experience, I got my confidence back and I am so thankful.

My daughter and I had been to 2 other formal wear shops in the East Bay and were highly disappointed. We found BChic online and took the 40 min drive on a Sunday. It was well worth it! The atmosphere was clean, chic and everyone was very professional! It took my daughter less than 10 mins to find the perfect dress! When staff is mature, attentive and professional the process is very enjoyable!

My daughter and I traveled to San Carlos from the South Bay to shop for a prom dress. We were thrilled with the selection of dresses and the variety of sizes. My daughter was able to try on all of the dresses she was interested in. The staff was so kind and helpful. They helped my daughter in and out of dresses and look for alternative colors. She felt comfortable and confident in her selection and we could not be more pleased.

I had an exceptional experience at B-Chic Fashions, especially after a disappointing visit to another dress store. Prior to my visit, I called the store and spoke with Andree, who was immediately warm, kind, and genuine. Her sincerity came across clearly over the phone, and she made me feel able and confident enough to make the trip to the store the following day.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. Andree greeted me with open arms, even offering me a hug. I was even more surprised that the plus-size selection was prominently displayed at the front of the store, contrary to my previous experience in other shops where I was often led to the back. Andree took the time to carefully select several gowns she thought would suit me, including designs from Tarik Ediz, a designer I had been eyeing. Although the gowns were beautiful, I did not immediately feel like any of them were "the one."

Andree's professionalism shone through when she asked me to share some specific styles I had previously screenshot. She quickly reviewed the options, offering helpful insights about which gowns would be most flattering based on my preferences. I appreciated that she wasn't just trying to sell me any dress, but was genuinely focused on helping me find the right fit.

After much consideration, I showed her a gown I had initially loved but was unsure about the cut. Andree immediately checked its availability, and after confirming it could be ordered, she took the time to explain how the design would complement my body type. Her expertise and guidance gave me the confidence to place the order for my dream dress.

Six weeks later, I received a call informing me that my gown had arrived. Though I live three hours away, I happily made the journey back to the store, and even though Andree wasn't there, Agatha and Jennifer provided the same level of warmth and professionalism. Upon seeing the gown for the first time in person, I was overwhelmed with joy. The dress was even more stunning than I had imagined, and it fit perfectly without the need for any alterations.

Agatha and Jennifer went above and beyond, even suggesting that the bra I was wearing could be sewn into the gown for a better fit, which was incredibly helpful given the gown's cut. I truly didn't want to take the dress off, and the entire experience was made even more special by the kindness and patience of the staff.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Andree, Agatha, and Jennifer for making this experience so memorable. B-Chic Fashions has earned my trust, and I will be returning for any future events. This ball I’m attending in December holds significant meaning for my mother and me, as I never had the chance to attend a prom or other events in my youth. Thanks to B-Chic Fashions, this occasion will be one I will cherish forever.
