Payslips are incorrectly prepared (e.g. pension contribution calculation errors), taxable benefits are missing in some months, and P11D forms are not issued despite several requests.

Azets forgot to introduce the salary sacrifice scheme last month even though they had plenty of notice. Since then they cannot be reached; emails are being ignored, and phone calls are not answered.

This company is unreliable, avoid it if you can.

We've been using Azets for a while now and more specifically Ben White. Ben has always taken my calls when I've needed something doing and is happy to assist me.
It's usually something I need doing quick but it's never too much for Ben. Good service all round.

The team at Azets in Peterborough have been looking after us for many years - we cannot praise them highly enough. Nathan is my main point of contact and is always at the end of the phone for advice. But the team around him do a great job making my business runs smoothly from day to day!

We moved to Azets (previously Wilkins Kennedy) back in 2018 following a much-needed review as we were very unhappy with our then large firm of Accountants/Auditors.
Since then, we have been delighted with the service levels and fees from Azets which of course is due to the Partner, Manager and Team that we deal with on a regular basis for our group of companies. We believe that we have a very strong relationship and are grateful for this - thank you!

Very professional audit, conducted in an unobtrusive manner, without undue impact on day to day operations imif charitable organisation. Was very helpful and supportive too.

The company filed my accounts late then blamed me for filling the accounts late although I paid them for doing them and the the company Azets had taken over had been filing them for the past 25Years approached Alison Nayler a partner at Aztes, who said it was my responsibility to file accounts. Shocking service and even worse after sales. Hopefully The ACCA will help.

This company only has an interest in collecting money even though they are not justified and have no business moral or ethics communication is also one way they do not respond

I’ve dealt with rubbish accounts before, but this company beats them all, not only do they give bad advice, they take your instructions and do the complete opposite, costing you tens of thousands.
Avoid them and if you’re with them, move before they cost you.

Appalling service from Azets in Godalming. They had taken over the accountants Wilkins Kennedy with whom I had happily dealt with previously. The helpful and efficient lady I had dealt with moved on (very wisely!) and I was allocated to a man who consistently ignored all emails, requests for phonebacks etc. over a couple of months. He simply refused to communicate with me. I gave up and now deal with an efficient small local accountant. DO NOT DEAL WITH AZETS - truly dreadful service.

Where to start? At this point in time I am not sure if I am more disappointed in the poor service or the even worse follow up response which could potentially have redeemed the situation but was so clearly focused only on getting paid that retaining a client or even acknowledging that the information provided was too late to be of any use left me feeling like a scam victim not a valued client! I can accept that at the time they were clearly too busy or occupied elsewhere to conduct the required work in time to be of any use and had that been stated I would have gone elsewhere - but to issue an engagement letter after the advice was required, then proceed to offer advice after the transaction was concluded - so of no use - then to invoice 10 hrs @ £300/hr which seems to include several hours to prepare their own engagement letter.

An apology for a dropped ball and no invoice would have resolved the situation and I would most likely have been a customer into the future. Instead they sent endless payment reminders, called my phone multiple times and sent a debt collection letter!! - such a shame they couldn't have conducted the work on time instead!

Shocking service, our accountants were fantastic until being taken over by this awful company. They have no customer service skill, when challenged or complaint raised you are met with nothing but attitude and zero accountability. They have created additional work, messed up PAYE, and engage blanket policy and procedure that you must fit it in to or they will refuse to do the work. Payroll staff are unprofessional and will not admit fault. If you find your accountancy firm being taken over by these people I would suggest you run away as far and as fast as you can in the opposite direction.

Rubbish… they actually can’t get anything done. No response to queries, no named accountant as they can’t keep staff. Appealing record keeping, don’t follow their own procedures. Shocking. Should be shut down.

AZETS ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS DO NOT USE THEM - PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS !! I had a terrible terrible experience which has almost caused my company to go under ! I am a brand new very small brand and i sent over 5 small invoices at the end of my financial year to a very rude man called Michael King who works for Azets ! 2 days later he came back to me with a charge of nearly £1000 I was gob smacked - They are a complete rip off.... ;-(

I’m getting harassed by this company to pay a bill for a phone call they made to me. With no order, quote or anything they are now trying to charge me £180 for a phone call.

What a terrible business I would name and shame the persons responsible.

Used to use Wilkins Kennedy, then they changed to Azets. From my experience they less interested now in their customers than they once were.

At the end of the day,....I know we are all just numbers and thats business...

So if they need to, then they can charge for every letter, email, every telephone conversation, every referral, every piece of advise given, big or small
Like other firms/companies, there could be many other costs, because they are experts and time is of course money.

With the big world of finance and accounts, you need to feel that someone is on your side, and in your corner supporting you. In my opinion the people I worked with didnt seem to have this opportunity anymore. Once upon a time, I believe they were able to do this and support you that little bit more.

Dont get me wrong, they do give some good guidance. i appreciate that times change and the pressures of work and hitting endless target's. So there's not always that time for customers.

If your ever in need of good advice and one expert recommends you to another expert......., then please remember that time is money and all refarall and advice costs money.

I would always recommend looking up referrals and "trusted firms" on TrustPilot first!

Don't just take an experts word for it, shop around, read reviews and good luck.

Where do I start?
Absolutely shocking service: they're rude, they don't give any explanation as to what the invoice is for, they take forever to respond to any query, cost me absolute thousands in VAT mistakes, they don't ever admit they are wrong.
I'm seriously thinking of taking legal action as its just unacceptable that they can do this to a small business.
We never received any payslips for over 6 months, and after chasing and chasing, we finally got the payslips along with a £6,000 bill for "Accounting work, innit" as they said..
I would avoid them like the plague as it will just cost you money, cause you stress and they will most certainly make a mess of your accounts.
In-fact I'm still trying to sort out their messes a year down the line.
They also move the goal post and change costs whenever it suits them and couldn't provide any breakdowns of charges, just presented invoices willy-nilly with no explanations and expected us to pay them.

Extremely high fees for work that should've taken about a day as all the work was already prepared by a qualified in-house accountant.
