We booked a car in the Zurich office for our 9 day stay. During our trip, a pebble hit the front windshield and cracked it. Fortunately, we had paid for insurance. When we turned in the car, we find out that we have to file a claim to get our deposit back, which I found absurd, since with other rental companies we've worked with in the past, they file the claim for you. That upset us a bit, since the deposit was 1000CHF and we had to wait for the company to send us the repair invoice in order to file the claim. The secretary at the Zurich office assured me it would only take 3-4 days.
2 weeks went by and we did not get a word from them, BUT, worst of all, they had CHARGED me the deposit, not retained, but charged, without sending me proof or an invoice. I had to aggressively email them in order for them to send me the invoice to file the claim. The company's representative I spoke with was nice and efficient, but it was upsetting that I was told to be patient after being illegally charged without proof of invoice and had to wait for 2 weeks for the invoice.
Fortunately, the claim process with the insurance is easy and quick and we got our money back a week after filing the claim.
Honestly, the process was disappointing and stressful. I do not recommend this rental company whatsoever.

me cobran 350 euros por devolver en coche con algo de barro en la parte lateral inferior del exterior y me amenazan con hacerme perder el vuelo si no pago.

Shuttle in Heraklion zur Leihstation funktionierte nach Telefonanruf flott.
Bei der Leihe wurde mit Verweis auf eine sehr dezidierte „Preisliste“ eine Rundumversicherung für 150€ als Zusatz dringend empfohlen, obwohl meine Buchung über Check24 alles abdecken sollte. Die Dame an der Rezeption wurde etwas schnippisch, als ich darauf verwiesen habe und malte Horrorszenarien, was alles trotzdem zu meinen Lasten passieren könne. Darauf habe ich mich nicht eingelassen, habe es aber als unseriös empfunden.
Das Auto war OK und hat uns eine Woche gute Dienste geleistet.
Bei der Rückgabe konnte ich schon vorhandene Schäden Gottseidank mit selbst gemachten Fotos bei Abholung belegen.
Ich würde dort nicht mehr mieten.

Je recommande vivement acarent, location pour 18 jours pour moins de 11euro là journée , la voiture m'a été livré par monsieur Youssef, qui à été souriant et de bon conseil pour notre voyage, voiture citroen élysée diesel très écologique avec un demi plein on a tenu pas mal de temps. Un grand coffre, climatisation. Location rapide aussi bien a l'aller qu'au retour. Je recommande vivement ;)

J'ai eu une très bonne expérience pour ma location de voiture. Le service était impeccable, Youssef était très professionnel et sympathique, et la voiture était en parfait état. La prise en charge et le retour étaient rapides et faciles. Je recommande vivement cette location pour votre séjour !

Aucun soucis du début à la fin de la location, j’ai du mal à comprendre certains avis, il faut bien sûr avoir une carte de crédit comme indiqué lors de la réservation ce qui est pratiquement partout pareil sauf si tarif bien supérieur ou avec l’assurance du loueur

We booked on DiscoversCars, so when I saw all the bad reviews afterward, we were worried… but in the end, the renting process, taking possession and returning of the car sent smoothly without problems.
Although, my complaints would be:
1) the place to go at Heraklion airport for the shuttle service to the pick-up place was not clear at all. It is not indicated like the other companies.
2) car was really « basic » (e.g. no USB socket for cellphone) unlike the cars we rented on others Green Islande within the same car category.

Me han retirado la fianza que les di de 1000 euros y ahora me piden 950 euros mas.
Nada recomendables.

They have a canceled our booking when we arrived.

Never more. We has booking for 4 days. Our flight has been delayed so they cancelled my booking, didn't receive my money and could not even book an another car

Wir kamen sm Flughafen Catania an u d als wir unseren reservierten Wagen abholen wollten, hieß es, dass es durch einem Systemfehler eine Überbuchung gegeben hätte und deshalb kein Fahrzeug für uns da wäre. Wir wurden null unterstützt, wurden unfreundlich behandelt und mussten schließlich bei einem anderen Anbieter für viel mehr Geld ein Auto buchen. Wir werden gegen ACA vorgehen. Auf keinen Fall werden wir wieder bei diesem Anbieter buchen.

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!!
Rude and aggressive staff. First we heard was: "you need to pay 650eur deposit, if you scratch the card I'll take the deposit, if you damage the car you'll have to pay 1000 euros"
When I questioned requirement of the deposit payment as we purchased full insurance at the time of booking, the little pathetic man behind the desk become very aggressive. However, as I am not easily scared, he went outside and came back with his colleague and asked me if "I want to have a go now?". As that didn't scarred me neither, he cancelled the rental and started to threaten me with the police. He said, you are the tourist in my country, and police will be happy to rough me up. Then they both left the office. I was quite happy to wait for the police but my girlfriend was very upset at that moment and for her sakes we left.
I am convinced that I would not see my deposit even that we paid for insurance and we would not damage the vehicle.
SCAMMERS AND THUGS - DO NOT YOUR HOLIDAY BE RUINED BY THOSE LITTLE PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A MEN.
