ASR Gearbox Repairs Anmeldelser

We dealt with Elliot who arranged the collection and return of our vehicle - Elliot was helpful, professional and a really great person to deal with - all the timelines were adhered to and the car appears to be working really well so thank you to your team and especially to Elliot for his help. All this was achieved within 1 week 1/12/25 - 5/12/25

After a 500 mile round trip with no issues I reversed onto my driveway and felt the car shudder. I’ve had to replace the clutch before on my powershift gearbox so I knew the symptoms. I booked in with ASR gearbox as they came highly recommended. Jay was very helpful, and despite a few days delay in starting the repairs due to their pressure of work, the gearbox was refurbished after it was analysed and found to be needing extensive repair. The work was carried out by experienced technicians and I’m very happy with the service ASR Gearboxes provided Including follow up calls.

ASR's customer service is exceptional. A both professional and friendly company with a transparency that has been very much appreciated throughout the process of having major repairs carried out on my vehicle. Being without a car whilst work is being carried out can be very stressful but having the same, consistent person keeping in clear and regular communication with me throughout and providing detail, honesty and clarity has given much assurance. The repair on my gearbox was carried out to a high standard, in a time frame that didn't compromise on quality. I am thankful that my vehicle was in expert hands and feel the long warranty gives an added sense of assurance. I would absolutely recommend the team at ASR for a informative and stress free repair.

A big shout out for Elliot helping me out with my car when I needed it the most he was a great help to me a true professional at his job there should be more people like him to help customers when they need it the most all I can say is thank Elliot keep up the great work take care

5 stars aren’t enough for ASR Gearbox Repairs! We had a long-standing gearbox problem due to a faulty mechatronic unit, and after the issue resurfaced months later, we reached out to ASR. They arranged next-day collection, completed diagnostics, and replaced the unit quickly and professionally.

A special thank you to James, who went above and beyond. With my difficult work hours and a payment issue on my end, he was incredibly patient and made sure our car didn’t end up in storage. His communication was clear, helpful, and genuinely reassuring. He and the whole technical team are fantastic.

Thanks again for getting us back on the road. I hope we don’t have to visit again anytime soon but if we ever run into another issue, ASR will definitely be the place we go.

From talking to Elliot, to having my car fixed and returned safely, I can say with firm conviction that the whole process was conducted very professionaly.
All my questions where answered in a polite, friendly and curteous manner.
My thanks go to ELLIOT for his explanation of all works, costs etc so I knew what expect and no hidden charges. This rep. is a credit to the company.
I will use ASR again if needed and I will pass them on to friends.

I'm so pleased that I chose ASR to repair my Ford Fiesta gearbox.
Jay is very knowledgeable and personable, which put me at ease during what could have been a quite stressful time.
Jay kept me up-to-date throughout the process and my car was collected and returned to me all sorted.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ASR to my friends and family.

Excellent team to deal with, understanding exactly the enquiry given by us to them. Not many companies actually deal with automatic gearboxes so we were really pleased to find ASR. They arranged collection and delivery and kept us informed about the entire process throughout.Jay, their Technical Advisor was very professional, polite and helpful giving us complete faith in the work and can’t thank them enough for what they did for us.

Very easy and straightforward way arranging for the car to be picked up and an extensive diagnostic test. Jay was helpful keeping me informed and available when I had questions. All in all a very positive experience and will definitely recommend ASR

My Transporter drives like new, impressive. Shame it was returned very dirty and hand prints to show

Jay was brilliant throughout the whole process explaining all the technical issues in plain language I could understand. The free pick up and delivery service is a lifesaver and the costs vs going to the Skoda garage were much cheaper and still get a 12 month warranty

Elliot was fantastic over the phone, has been so so helpful when in a stressed and under pressure. Would recommend speaking to Elliot anytime regarding specific gearbox enquiries as he was very informative and knowledgeable.

Had an issue with my gearbox, ASR had the vehicle collected within a day, and the car was back fixed before I knew it.
Elliot was an absolute pleasure to deal with on the phone, was thorough and professional and an all round nice guy who knew his stuff.
would definitely recommend!

The support from Jay was second to none throughout the process, I was kept fully informed at all times. Your engineer was very helpful by highlighting the problem with the Throttle body, which is important for me to know as I want to be able to trust this car on long journeys. Your Low loader pickup man was very helpful too in both pickup & delivery. Excellent!!

Explained everything clearly on phone. Came and collected our car on time. Kept us updated with the work that needed to be done. Once repairs were done the car was returned promptly.

The people that I spoke too was very polite and friendly explained what they were going to do. They kept us informed when they were going too pick up the car and when they returned it. Overall very good company

The whole process with ASR Gearbox repairs was superb. From the 1st phone call with Elliot we were given clear information on how the repair would proceed. The repair itself was completed quickly and exactly as described, Elliot was always available to give us information on what was happening. ASR and Elliot definitely deserve the 5 star rating.

I contacted ASR on the 4th of November regarding my vehicle and the gearbox repair. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of J who was a technical advisor. He took me through the ins and outs exactly what would tell for my repair the very next day I Recovery driver, picked my vehicle up at the time stated And taken to their workshop from that day I was kept informed by J the technical advisor as to how my car was progressing I could not have asked for a better service and to speak to someone who was kind and understanding about my situation, I would recommend this company to anyone because I can guarantee you’ll be 100% satisfied with the outcome of your journey so I’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to J and the rest of the team for your hard work.
Your sincerely, Brett Thompson
