Excellent Post Sales Services
These guys supported me on a faulty camera that was out of the box. They assisted in troubleshooting steps and were constantly in touch with me.
Ultimately, we couldn't get the camera on, so they asked me to return the faulty one, and they sent out a brand-new one the next day.
They saved my season's memories, and I will recommend them to anyone. I will use them again 100% because of their 5 ***** service.

Maybe a bit Cheaper? but at a cost …!!!!
I purchased a - NIKON NIKKOR - Z - 28-400 LENS ON Monday- 26TH AUGUST .. In stock listed next working day delivery - via DPD ..
As Wednesday arrived - no delivery , no email ..
I emailed them saying I needed it for Friday 30th - and was informed - it would be delivered - by - sales? agent? =. Dill @ this -terrible ?company ..
I emailed to verify its delivery on the 30th to be told - its on the way - via - DPD - on Tuesday - 3rd September ..
I received a reply from - Dill - informing me it’ll be Nearly a week late - if it comes …
Problem is - I’m leaving on a 14 day holiday Monday - 2nd - for 14 days ..
As DPD very often , leave against the front door .. The lens would be left in the weather - and possibly stolen …
As I live in a busy area. So now - I’ve paid my money , 1289.00 gbp - for a lens to take away - on holiday - which I don’t have .. And won’t have .. for it to arrive late … And be left there …
DPD can be cancelled , and diverted , online - many times I have - received tracking .. Which - is why I thought it odd - I haven’t gotten tracking info - just broadening excuses from - Awful company ?
No lens - out of pocket ..
Having to take heavier kit… So ok - they maybe a bit cheaper - But - don’t expect it next day …
If I get my refund quickly - I can buy elsewhere … Get what I purchased … I had used - this place previously - they had been late - ok .. But I shouldn’t be fobbed off - with excuses … As they are most likely - short staffed , as its holiday time …

We take the statements made in this review extremely seriously. While every customer is entitled to express dissatisfaction with their experience, a number of the allegations and implications contained within this review are disputed and do not accurately represent the circumstances of the transaction.
The order was unfortunately affected by a delivery delay during the August Bank Holiday period. All delivery information communicated by our team was provided in good faith based upon the information available to us at the time. We categorically reject any suggestion that the customer was deliberately lied to or misled.
When it became clear that delivery could not be achieved within the customer's required timeframe, the shipment was recalled and the customer's £1,289 payment was refunded in full.
For the avoidance of doubt, the refund was never conditional upon this review being removed or amended. Any suggestion otherwise is incorrect.
Ashton Little is a legitimate family-run UK business based in Derbyshire, and we take our reputation very seriously. We maintain records of our transactions and correspondence and strongly dispute statements which inaccurately question the honesty, legitimacy or integrity of our business.
We accept that the delivery was delayed and sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused. However, a courier delay should not be misrepresented as dishonesty or deliberate misconduct by our company.

Nikon D7500
Have been looking to upgrade my DSLR to a Nikon D7500 for a while now. As it is such a popular camera, good second hand examples are few and far between. I decided, therefore, to buy new. Ashton Little were by far the cheapest. Ordered last Wednesday, it arrived on Friday morning. Well pleased with it. Would definitely recommend this company. Great products, great prices, and great Customer Service...what's not to like.

I’ve just taken up wildlife photography…
I’ve just taken up wildlife photography in my retirement as a pastime. I wanted some advice about the best camera kit to buy. Phil pointed me to a great beginner camera kit on the website that included all I needed to start taking photos of wildlife. Delivered the next day. Couldn’t be happier. Have started to take some great shots out and about. Would highly recommend Ashton Little to other photography enthusiasts.

Review for Middleton Hill Limited
[EDIT 3: The operator of Ashton Little, Middleton Hill Limited, also operates "Pro-Camera" which is where I placed my order. They have highlighted a concern that this review is not related to AshtonLittle because my order was with "Pro-Camera". They are threatening me with legal action and researching irrelevant details about my life using the information I gave them to fulfil my order. I am happy to make it clear to the reader that this review is of Middleton Hill Limited, which operates Ashton Little, as per the details of my review below.]
I used "Pro-Camera", which is the same as this company (same address on website, same website design, etc).
I wanted to order a camera that was advertised as Next Day delivery. I emailed on Monday to ask if they had one in stock and could delivery by Thursday, which is when I needed it by. They emailed back to say they had one in stock, and a minute later I had replied to say I would buy it (asking them to email if any issues), and 5 mins after that I'd checked out.
I emailed to ask for a tracking number. I was told it would be delivered on Friday. I said this was likely too late, and they said that they'd escalate this to their shipping manager. It's now Wednesday. I asked when I'd get a tracking number, and was told that I'd get a tracking number next Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
This is too late for me, and I now don't trust any date they give. I have asked for a refund, but am skeptical about whether it will be processed any time soon. Luckily I paid via credit card so have Section 75 protection.
[EDIT 1: The company says it has refunded me (waiting to see it in my account) but has called and emailed to ask if I'll remove this review. I am inclined not to, because it accords with other experiences that I'd been worried about before ordering and I wouldn't have ordered had I known I'd have this experience.]
[EDIT 2: The company has further asked that I remove this review as I purchased via "Pro-Camera", but both websites share an address and telephone number and and the "about us" pages of both websites name the company as Middleton Hill Limited with the same company registration number.]
[EDIT 4: I have now received a refund from NextDayCamera]
[EDIT 5, 14th September 2026: More than two years after this ordeal, I'm still getting chased by the business owner who is flagging these reviews with TripAdvisor, meaning I have to constantly defend them. I've just removed URLs from this review, because apparently this is now a reason for TrustPilot to remove genuine reviews. I stand by my review, including finding it weird that someone acting on behalf of this business used my information to research my volunteering roles and refer to these in an email threatening me about these reviews.]

The order was placed through Pro-Camera, operated by Middleton Hill Limited. Unfortunately, the requested delivery timescale could not be achieved. The customer subsequently cancelled and a full refund was processed and received, as the reviewer confirms.
While we accept the delivery fell below expectations, we do not accept any implication of dishonesty or improper conduct. We also reject any suggestion that customer information was improperly used.

Canon SX740
Required a Canon SX740 next day delivery however I was then advised the camera would not be with me until 4 days after I ordered it which was no good. I asked if my order could be cancelled however due to the parcel already being out for delivery they were unable to cancel it. I was understandably very frustrated with the whole situation that went on however when I asked to return it, Phil offered for DPD to collect the parcel directly from me so I didn’t need to send this myself which I was very appreciative of, from then I received a full refund for the camera. What started as a not great experience turned into a pleasant experience with Ashton Little.

Brilliant service
Brilliant service. I saved hundreds of pounds by buying from Ashton Little. They immediately responded to a query I had about dispatch. Goods arrived in perfect condition. I ordered a Nikon Z5 with Nikkor 24-50mm lens then a Canon EF 50mm lens. If I need anymore kit I will certainly buy from Ashton Little again.

Next Day delivery took a week.
Bought a lens from them. Good price and good communication. Their website said 'Next Day' delivery. However, it actually took a week. A worrying time. I'm very happy with the lens. It came via DPD and was well packed. It was just the 'Next Day' delivery taking a week which let them down.

Ordered EOS 1dx3 , advertised as in stock and ships within 2 days. Order ack arrived promptly via email, then nothing. After waiting for a week and trying to contact via phone several times without success, sent an email asking for status and was told order was cancelled and a refund sent. Refund arrived ok , but what a waste of time.
