Extremely disappointing!!!

I had a guy come out yesterday (19th-08-2024) to give me a lpg certificate for my Ford falcon. He advised me that the car didn't start and the fuel pump was noisy and faulty. I came home and started the falcon with no issue at all. I paid ASAP auto $250.00 to come out and give me a gas certification. The guy didn't know that with the falcons you turn the key and let it go and it starts...

I spoke to the female manager and advised her that the falcons start by turning the key and letting it go, not turning the key and keeping it there. She was in complete denial... telling me the vehicle is faulty. I literally had a road worth done on the 9th of the same month and the inspection passed. No issue. I have never had any issues with the car not starting.

The manager states that the mechanic who came out Mike I think is an LPG falcon specialist with 30 years experience. The bloke didn't even know how the car starts.

That manager... she was completely and utterly useless. No customer service experience. She told me that they will be charging me $88.00. The $88.00 was for the LPG falcon specialist to come out and misdiagnose the vehicle... thats the charge.

Im still driving the falcon without any issues. Not professional mechanics and very useless manager. Bunch of thieves

4.10.2024 - I spoke to the neighbours who have advised me that it was a funny scene to see that your mechanic didn't know how to start the car. You are completely full of it that your so called ford falcon specialist couldn't start the car. I now had the vehicle LPG certificate completed. Every other mechanic who looked at the vehicle knew how to start it with no issue or problem. Even I started it an hour after your so called falcon specialist could not.

Your full of excuses... your mechanics are inexperienced and you give them so called "specialist" titles to boost there ego and make your company look good. I have never had an issue before or after your mechanic came out in regards to the xr6. I tried to explain this to the owner who was aggressive and arrogant... know I get a nice reply because it's posted up. Pathetic joke and a bunch of thieves... becarful everyone

Our qualified LPG specialist, with over 30 years of experience, regularly works on vehicles like the Ford Falcon. We trust his expertise, and during his visit, he made multiple attempts to start your vehicle. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so, and we understand your neighbors were present during these attempts.

As explained, since the vehicle was not operational at the time of inspection, a call-out fee was charged to cover the travel and time. However, we have refunded the remaining balance as a gesture of goodwill.

We understand this situation has been frustrating for you, and we attempted to clarify everything over the phone. We’re sorry that our explanations may not have met your expectations, but we do value your feedback and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

Paid but service not provided

Made a booking and clearly gave my address. They took payment to confirm the booking. The day of the roadworthy inspection I was sent a msg that my location is outside of their service area. I am still waiting for a refund.

Paid for Gold Premium Service including PPSR report. Online booking charged my card twice and booking didn't actually go through. Only noticed as made the booking for early morning the next day but never received a confirmation. Had to ring them the next day to explain everything. It also took over a week for the second (double) booking amount to be corrected in my bank account.

REGARDING THE REPORT
We test drove this vehicle twice and there was an obvious noise coming from the engine, hence why we wanted an independent evaluation. The written report did not even mention the sound.

We did not receive the extras paid for with the Gold Premium Inspection. We are still waiting on the PPSR report. We have followed this up with phone calls and two emails. Customer service is severely lacking as they seem happy to take your booking and your money, but it stops there. They do not follow up on emails or follow through on what they say they will. This inspection cost $430 but if we had only waited a day, we could have gone with RACQ and bought the same inspection for roughly $250 with a respected and trusted company.

We were trying to do the right thing by the seller and have the car inspected ASAP, to only still be waiting ten days later.

Rude arrogant inspector cost me $145…

Rude arrogant inspector cost me $145 dollars for a rejected roadworthy overpriced big time it’s $70 for a bike roadworthy $140 tops if it fails for other companies to come out! DO NOT USE they will fail your vehicle and ask another $88 dollars for a call out fee and that’s against the law that by Australian rights is classed as hiding information to get more money for nothing took my bike to a real mechanic there was nothing wrong with the bike I refused to pay another $88 dollars it was past straight away with nothing wrong with it. Ask inspector to stop and leave I would get someone else to do it because of his arrogance! He still did the inspection after he left and didn’t even finish it.I’m a 49 year old who has been around bikes my whole especially on the racing scene on and off road so my bikes are looked after for safety reasons absolute joke of company won’t refund money and the inspectors don’t work directly for the company it’s a scam and ripp off I have gone to qld transport there is a link to complain about the inspector and acc if you look at there website you will see it’s against the not to disclose any more charges after they have started the job nearly every review is in 1 to 2 stars all the 5 star ratings look like professional written comments to me how can you have so many complaints and still be in business people are doing it tough with the interest rates and your SCAMMING PEOPLE FOR NOTHING!

Easy booking process and great service

Booking my roadworthy in with ASAP Roadworthys was such a simple and easy process! They are prompt and thorough with their inspection and the examiner was great at answering all my questions! My cousin's buying a car soon and I've just recommended that they use ASAP Roadworthys for their Pre-Purchase Inspection before they buy the car they are looking at. Thanks team!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANT

This company is terrible. Was failed on the first inspection for a tyre that was confirmed as roadworthy by a tyre place. On the second call had the rudest gentlemen that would not wait 10 minutes to do a manual DPF clean to clear the engine even though he stopped the clean to drive it which takes longer to do. This is a money hungry company looking to give any reason to fail and the call out fee is the same as the initial test

Nothing worse than trying to fix a made-up mechanical problem, just because a roadworthy company wants the easy way of making a profit. They'll get your money ASAP and fail your car's roadworthy ASAP.

False Advertising - On their website they say "We can carry out all types of car aircon or air conditioning cleaning services and repairs", "Air Conditioning Repairs", yet when I asked the technician if he was going to repair my leaking car aircon he said that they don't do repairs and he didn't repair my leaking car aircon.
Non-compliance with the Australian code of practice for refrigerant systems - The code of practice says that adding refrigerant to refrigeration and air conditioning systems before checking for, and fixing, any leaks is not allowed. The technician added refrigerant to my car aircon without fixing the leaks, even though I told him that it went from very cold to no cold air in less than a day. Additionally the sound of leaking gas could be heard when I tested it straight after he left.
Poor value for money - So to not have any repairs done, and non-compliance with the code of practice, and an aircon system that was still not working cost me $200.
I won't be using ASAP ever again and I don’t recommend anyone else use them either.

No Communication, No Follow-up and No Customer Care at ALL!!
They sub-contract roadworthy providers! You'd be far better off finding the actual person online that is the provider and save some money! You think you pay a premium and thats the level of service you would get... well... thats not the case.
I bought a road worthy 3 months ago thinking i was going to sell my bike, the guy passed it with flying colours. Yesterday i had a buyer and the roadworthy had expired so i needed another one, $200 later they arrived. The next guy failed the bike. I've not ridden, touched or modified a speck of dust on the thing since the last inspection, but all of a sudden the bike is failing. ASAP roadworthys kept brushing me off, saying they'd followup with the inspectors and im still waiting on that phone call back. I'd highly recommend you go elsewhere. DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE GUYS!

Poor communication and can’t trust what they say

Failed RWC for oil leak that the tech said “In my professional opinion has been badly leaking for over a year”. Told him,12mths ago asap did the RWC which it passed no problem. He replied “they’re not all as thorough as I am”. Got an independent technician to repair bad leak, he found no leak but presence of oil. He wrote report that no leak, traces of oil were due to sensor replacement months ago, oil present but no leak.
Communication with asap was rubbish they don’t reply until last minute and basically say it’s all your problem and take it up with qld TMR. No you can’t get a different tech to do recheck because it’s your problem not ours. So basically they don’t care and we got your money so who cares.
Another review said they think asap fail just to get the recheck money too, I’m thinking they might be onto something there… unless you question them, then they just want you gone.
There are lots of other options for this service and they’re cheaper and better communication and service, look around don’t just take the first one that comes up asap come out quick but they only do the first thing quick nothing else

SCAM! Absolute crap

SCAM Absolute crap! Not Happy with service

I booked a roadworthy this morning and was aked to choose a time, I elected 10.30 which was aperfect fit for my day. After paying I was given a message that it would be between 10.30 and 2, that wasn't what I booked. I did wait about but had to go do some jobs but communicate dthat key would be in letter box, when I arrived home at 1.30 still no show, my daughter had a medical appointment to attend and had to leave at 2pm, I called office to be greeted by a nasty lady who just wanted to quote T's and C's which were not readily seen when I booked. Given the car was not going to be here when tech turned up I asked for refund only to be told $50 cancellation fee "they are in the T's and C's" , of course they were. Seems that I have been stitched up here, I need roadworthy, I would like this to happen at 4pm now, can you make that happen???

Absolute rubbish company

I had a safety certificate inspection booked for my boat trailer, it passed no problem and then took 8 days to receive the certificate due to a "technical issue" at the time of the inspection I was told that was all I needed to get the trailer Registered, turns out I needed a HVRAS measure up so I booked with them again they sent the same guy who was not qualified to carryout the measure up due to a booking error on their behalf. After talking with them on the phone they then tell me their is nothing they can do for me as they don't offer those services in my area and all they can offer me is a refund, and now I'm still stuck with an unregistered boat trailer 3 weeks later.

Do not use this company they are terrible.
Quick to take your money though.

Unprofessional, not helpful & Ripped Off

unprofessional, upon turning up 10:40am 19/07/23 no introduction - within 2 mins, without so much as a hello, stated the engine was hunting & had a defect “oil leak”!! I originally laughed as a mechanic worked on it the day before 18/07/23, changing engine rocker cover gasket (the invoice/ receipt was on the seat so he could site) & also had a full service not 2 weeks prior (when the leaking gasket was identified).

The “leaking oil” was repaired by changing the eng gasket. I explained what had happened, I wanted to clean the area, he said he didn’t have time.. he was there for 10 mins, It would have taken me 5 mins to degrease and clean the area in question. He told me he’d have to come back!!.. ( not likely, I’d just been ripped). So I took it straight down to the local mechanic who put it on a hoist & guess what… NO LEAK.. just oil residual, prior the gasket change the day before. He gave it a quick clean. They also gave me a “PASS” Roadworthy Certificate straight away after checking - 4 hrs after it was defected by ASAP Roadworthy.

Not impressed at all.
I’m not doubting, there was residual oil from the replaced gasket, though he could have waited 5- 10 mins for a quick clean down & then checked for a leak, he came all the way from Miami to West Brisbane.

You must be joking.. Again you showed how unprofessional your company is, it’s now been 3 months since This happened & your company ripped me off ( and you reply now after 3 months !!) If you want to see what you can do, then you can pay me back the $132.

There was no misunderstanding, the person inspecting the vehicle, did not listen or want to understand.. He wanted another call back!!! Lastly who turns up in a footy jersey for work ? Again unprofessional !
