Booked a taxi from Leeds Bradford airport at £38.40 (already extremely high) but they insisted on charging me £47.25) Arrow staff at airport could not explain or help.

I booked and paid for a taxi 2 weeks before to call at the time due to be advised on way - when I questioned with driver he had been dispatched when I called - DISGRACEFUL!

Having just returned home from dropping off my wife at the airport I thought I would leave this review for the little jerk in the silver Ford Transit custom who just drove 1 m from the back of my car flashing his lights at me at 50 mph+ on the Bristol to Airport Road. If the company is interested at all, which I doubt given the rest of these reviews, it's a white guy who dropped off a fare at the airport at around 4:30 this morning, 12th November. I suggest anybody experiencing similar driving report to Bristol City Council licencing department, which is what I will be doing shortly.

We pre booked a car for the 9th Nov 2022 from bristol airport.
We arrived at 10 pm and qued outside We were seen by a lady who said the taxi will be 10 mins. We waited outside as inside was full.
After 25 minutes I went back in and asked where the car was to be told what do you want me to do about it. Other flights were delayed? She then shrugged her shoulders at me. I asked her name and she refused to give it to me . The individual was the most rudest people I have met in a customer facing role and should NOT be in that role. We eventually got a taxi at 10.46pm. The driver was excellant.
I am expecting a refund and an apology and disciplinary action to be taken against the employee

We arrived at Leeds Bradford Airport and had a reciept we needed to show to get back to our hotel to collect our car.I presented the receipt to the young lady behind the desk who immediately asked if I had already used it,even though it stated journey from LBA to Hotel.We had 5 in our group so I asked for a mini bus or 2 cars which ever was quickest.I was told nothing was available with a wait of 30 -40 mins.I was not happy as had been up since 5am and it was now 2pm with another 40mins before getting my car to drive home for an hour and a half hours.After 30 mins and several people behind us had gotten taxis I went back to desk.Spoke to a different lady and after a short discussion when I was told a minibus had been booked I asked her to change it to 2 cars and hey presto within minutes we had 2 taxis arrive for us.I dread to think how long we would have waited for a minibus. Appalling customer service from the 1st person I spoke to.There was also several other people complaining at the desk.If Arrow cars want to speak to me please get in touch by email.

Felt truly ripped off. Booked and pre paid for a taxi for 2355. Received text at saying taxi due at 2357. Was outside at 0001 and had to chase taxi down the road which waited at the bottom of the road. Driver said the booking had been cancelled and I would have to rebook. A farce of an experience rebooking and had to pay online a higher fare before the same driver would let me into his taxi at 0010. Have paid for the same journey twice and with no confidence that I will receive a refund. A scam company that does not deserve to succeed. Avoid them.

Avoid at all costs. Rip off merchants. Book with your trusted local firm in future.

Cost me £17 with Amber from Bradford to the airport during rush hour too.
Landed late on Sunday night and was tired so used Arrow and they charged £34. Cowboys. There's no explanation why the same journey with less traffic should cost double. They're robbing you people. Stop using them or they'll continue to rob you

tried since the 6/10/2022 .totaly ignored to get a refund .

Fantastic service. My phone fell out of my pocket, as soon as I realised I called arrow and within 30 mins the phone was returned to me. Fortunately the next customer found my phone but the taxi firm went above and beyond to call me and let me know what was happening and returning the phone to my home address within 30 minutes

Still waiting after 1 hour in a grotty little office with many others. Bristol airport is quiet today at 4.30pm, so why cant I get a cab? TRY UBER!

Cancelled a pre paid taxi in June this year with 2-3 days notice, followed the claims procedure Arrow Cars gave me, had confirmation emails ‘ We’re on it ‘ , ‘You’ll receive a call tonight to arrange refund ‘& still waiting after many many emails & phone calls ( 3 months)
The most recent message I received was they have ‘closed the case’

Arrived early hours this morning from Faro, obviously the airport bus wasn't running so had no choice but to book with these again. The journey is 5.5 miles from the airport and the cost was £23.00, the journey from a local firm to the airport 1 week earlier was £13.00. The service was slow even though we were told to wait 10 - 15 min, we actually waited 35 mins maybe because they had so few drivers working that shift??
There were plenty of complaints to be heard outside the office and everyone knows this firm are and haver been ripping people off for a long time.
Also the office staff were rude and they only take card payments so some people were left stranded.

On the 31st August I booked a return trip to the Airport
L.B.A as the Web site said it is cheaper to do so. Whilst on holiday I received a receipt for £25,77p for the trip to the Airport, on my return on the 12th Sept I received a further receipt for £ 26 .10p .On Tues I contacted Arrow by phone to ask about the charges and was told it was because of the routes used to which i said why should it increase costs for me and was told that is how it is calculated .I asked why the Web site and advertisement at the Airport said return trips are cheaper when they clearly aren't and that I wished to speak to a manager he told one would contact me since then I've heard nothing. This tells me how little interest Arrow have for their customers apart from how much money they can make out of them .

I contacted the Arrow office with my complaint and after some ludicrous excuses by the operator I was told a manager would contact me but as expected I have had no response which shows their customer service doesn't exist.

Absolute rip off merchants. £23.50 for a 3.5 mile ride which had cost £12 with a reputable local Taxi company. They use the inadequate and erroneous excuse of "airport charges" when questioned. The sooner Leeds Bradford International Airport banish these cowboys the better.

The point I want to say is this. They are charging nearly 25% more than most other taxi firms because they are resident at Leeds/Bradford airport

Avoid at all costs!! This company seems to operate under different names: Arrow Cars, Nova Rides and DG cars. Ride was cancelled via the Bristol Office, was told to raise a request form via their website. Website form is now broken so unable to access claim. Emailed their support and refund @arrowcars email address and no response. Called their Leeds HO and was told to email the lady who deals with refund via a dgcars email address and still haven’t heard anything or had the refund processed. At £79 it’s not a small amount. Seems I’m not the only person who’s experienced this problem. Absolutely shambles of a company!!

I booked a taxi from Leeds Festival to the train station at 11:20 and allowed over an hour before my train to ensure that we wouldn't miss the train even in the event of traffic. I specifically rang up an hour before to make sure the taxi was confirmed and that there would be no delays. The driver arrived at 11:56 over half an hour late! As a result we missed our train and had to pay £118 for new tickets. This was entirely avoidable as there was no traffic leaving the festival and it only took us 30 mins to get there.

I asked for a refund and was told there was nothing they can do. They told me I can submit a complaint via the website - the website form is broken so I'm back at square one.

Absolutely terrible service- I will never use this company again.

Booked and prepaid a taxi to Bristol Airport. When it was ten minutes late I rang and asked where it was and was told it was on the way and would be 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I rang and got put through to Leeds where a woman said it hadn’t been dispatched. I had a right panic to get to the airport in time. They say a refund will take four weeks. Absolute criminals
Edit: I disputed the payment through me credit card company and it was returned to me the following day, I advise you claim any refund this way

Wish I had read the reviews. Ordered a taxi to take us to the the airport at 3.30 called to find out where it was to be told it was going to be at least an hour! Shocking luckily managed to make our own way there. No wonder Uber is so big when you get service like this.
