I am a realtor and have switched over to Armadillo Home Solutions and Ilyssa has been great to work with. She is very responsive and gets me the warranty contract and invoices quickly. The ordering system is easy to navigate and Ilyssa is very personable unlike other companies that are prone to the big corporate cultures.

I have been a realtor nearly 20 years and have been only using Armadillo for a couple years now. I started using them on my personal residence first to make sure they would be the top warranty company. My rep Ilysa is amazing and really on top of things! She has helped both me and my clients get us in touch with the right people. Which sped up the process of getting the claims through. Illysa also checks in with me regularly, which I appreciate! It was a good move for me to change to Armadillo!

Armadillo is a great home warranty company! Larry Hines is an amazing Sales Rep too. He is always available to answer any questions and gets us the best warranty for our situation. I am a real estate agent and have been sending my buyers to him and purchasing home warranties for my clients with him for about a year now and love this company!

Unqualified technician / provider
We told you it was a hybrid water heater, which is a water heater that combines a heat pump and an electric water heater into one unit. We sent you the data plate photo. We also told this to the service provider. They sent an unqualified tech that had no idea that this is not two separate appliances. Now you expect me to pay a second service charge for an HVAC tech?

A temporary solution to a big issue
We just bought a premium Armadillo home warranty on a house built in 1960 we purchased. The AC was functional on the inspection day. 28 days after the closing date, the central AC condenser broke on a day with max temperature of 98F. I filed a claim that requires a $200 fee. The Armadillo representative asked me to provide the report of the inspector showing that the system was working before the closing date. I provided it. Initially they provided a AC tech that when I tried to schedule the repair, told me he did not work on central ACs. Then I suggested a company recommended by the company that inspected the house and started an 3 way phone call with the Armadillo claim representative and the second AC company. Initially the company refused to work with Armadillo. The Armadillo representative offered to provide an Armadillo corporate credit card covering up to $500. The AC repair company came and replaced the condenser capacitor that was burnt and we have a working AC, although it does not bring the temperatures to the goal set and charged $480 to the credit card on file (this means Armadillo covered $280 after the $200 fee they charge). The AC company suggested further diagnostic evaluation of the compressor and perhaps its replacement. When I contacted the company, they told me that they will only cover further work until the AC stops working completely. I decided to take a break of the phone and the claim was closed. This is is suboptimal and creates extra work for me as a client, as I now have to either file a new claim for an AC that does not work fully or wait until it breaks down. It seems like Armadillo strategy is to make it so hard for clients that they desist on claims.

Took a month before they came to my…
Took a month before they came to my house to repair my AC compressor, then they bill my insurance people and said they did the job. And never did it. So when they come, they repaired it. But left everything behind, NOW I had to pay someone else to remove this big air compressor from my property. That like paying double, thinking about going back to AMS more but less hassle.

Excellent Experience
This was a fantastic resolution to an otherwise terrible ordeal. Our dryer was toast, but the repairman was pleasant and knowledgeable, and got it working at full capacity again.
