Definitely worth it
We are really satisfied with our AquaTru under sink water filtration system. It makes me happy to know that my family can drink clean water without having to worry about a thing. We also own countertop one and it’s been great!

Super responsive customer-friendly company
Very positive experience with this company. I bought aquatru carafe system. It came very quickly, and we tested the water before filtration and after (with an electronic device not just strips) The water was much cleaner after going through the system. So effectiveness was independently confirmed. The machine is reasonably quiet and easy to use. But on top of that we experienced incredible customer support: our unit was leaking a little from the bottom. Still working just fine but had to stand on a tray and we had to empty the tray sometimes. We reported it to the company and they first (very promptly) gave us some simple checks to perform to make sure we installed the filters properly, and when we confirmed that we did they immediately sent us a whole new unit. We were really surprised. It wasn’t a big catastrophic fault of the machine. It was still working, just a little inconvenient. And they were so strict on their warranty policy that it was enough to send us a whole new unit. 10/10. When in few years i upgrade to under-the-sink system im definitely going with aquatru again.

Picked up one of the AquaTru' Stainless…
Picked up one of the AquaTru' Stainless steel water bottles mainly for running and outdoor workouts, and it's honestly been a solid purchase so far. Keeps the the water cold for a good amount of time and feels durable without being heavy to carry around. The design is simple but practical.

AquaTru has demonstrated gross…
AquaTru has demonstrated gross incompetence and a disregard for consumer safety. After reporting a safety-critical leak on April 6, 2026, I was subjected to over a month of missed deadlines and broken promises.
April 9: A replacement was promised but never shipped.
April 18: An 'escalation' was promised within 5 days; it took nearly a month for a response.
April 22: The company sent a return label that expired before they even shipped the replacement.
May 13: Only after I initiated a bank dispute did the company attempt to ship a part and process a refund.
The logistical failure and lack of communication forced me to spend dozens of hours of personal and professional time managing their warranty breach.
Even after the merchant confirmed a refund was processed on May 13th, they have continued to send unsolicited hardware to my home on consecutive days (May 14th and May 15th). I have refused all late shipments to ensure the merchant retains their property and I receive my promised refund. This lack of coordination further documents the company's total logistical failure.

The purpose of our purchase was to attain good, clean water. This product more than delivers what I was in search of. It just needs to be understood that it is not as simple as turning on the faucet. You need to earn it! It is accomplished by cleaning and maintaining the source water tank to keep your good, clean and refreshing drinking water readily available.

I love the quality of the water
I love the quality of the water. I feel good about giving my family clean drinking water and I thank you for that. I have only 2 concerns: when the machine is new it runs quietly, but within 6 months it's very, very loud. Also the filters are quite costly and with a family of 4 we are having to change all of them every 6 months. Perhaps I should have purchased a larger model, but that too is quite costly.

AquaTru Countertop RO system works well but could use larger tanks
The AquaTru Countertop reverse osmosis system is simple to operate, producing clean water at the push of a button.
It has an internal pump that replenishes the drinking water tap quickly.
The unit is simple to set up, with clear instructions on the setup.
The main drawback is the size of the water tanks (for input and output). Unless you drink only a few glasses of water daily you'll need to refill the intake tank (after discarding the residue) several times a day (which is what I do). This is not big deal but this model is really ideal only for a single user who doesn't need to produce RO water in large quantities. For those with larger needs the under-the-sink model is probably your best bet.
I've liked the countertop model so much that an under-the sink model will soon be installed so that my wife and I have sufficient RO water for our daily needs.

I called Aquatru and asked for help reactivating the carafe system I had neglected while I was recuperating. Jesus in Customer Service helped me to replace parts & restart my machine. He brought great tasting water back into this house again. I have been an Aquatru customer for over 10 yrs. We are very happy with Aquatru's service and their products. Thanks for solving my problem.
