Appeal my rates UK (Catherine, Lucy and Paul) were particularly helpful in appealing our rates back from 2017 to 2023 and were hugely successful in retrieving the refund we were due. Throughout the process they kept in touch, responded promptly to our queries and they continue to support us with queries about 2023 rates onwards. No up front costs and all the hard work they put in has paid off. We've previously used other "rooky" companies, take our money up front and be unsuccessful, but this company is legitimate and good at their job. Thank you SO much for taking the stress and doubt away.

After an awful experience with another provider on our 2017 rates we were apprehensive about starting the process again for the 2023 one. However, any concerns i had were squashed very quickly as the service we received from both Catherine and Lucy was excellent, responsive, friendly, and professional and I felt like we were in a safe trusted pair of hands. What I liked was that this was a no-win no fee service which reassured us we would not be misled like we were with the previous company. Sadly, Appeal my rates were not able to submit an appeal for us, after carrying out the survey the recommendation was that we do nothing given there were some discrepancies in measurements not in our favour. Lucy was clear with her communication and explained everything in a simple way, sending over all her measurements and information relating to our case. She was incredibly helpful and I would highly recommend them if you are considering appealing your rates. I would use them again without a shadow of doubt.

Having tried and failed to get our property deleted from the Rating List I turned to Appeal My Rates for help. It was a long process due to the Valuation Office's failure to respond in a a timely manner but Appeal My Rates never let up and eventually the Valuation Office conceded that the evidence we presented proved our case and we have now heard from the Local Authority that we are due a very large refund of business rates.

Appealmyrates did an excellent job of dealing with the complexities of getting our rating valuation corrected, they offered excellent service and got the results we needed. As a small business we try to solve problems ourselves but this is a complex matter and we didn't want to get it wrong. Well worth the cost.

This company AppealMyRates (AMR) did exactly what they said they would. I found them honest and straight forward. Regrettably VOA took forever. AMR did have to Challenge an initial (no) decision which looked like kicking the can down the road by VOA. Eventually by contacting the right and appropriate VOA person who in turn visited our property and confirmed what they needed for a delist. Meaning zero rates, and backdated. AMR attended that visit at short notice. This could not have been achieved without the help and support of AMR. No money upfront was also key. I would certainly recommend AMR to others.

This company did exactly what they said they would, reduced my rates and communicated throughout. They were very honest - initially they said they would not be able to help and then I gave them further information they were fully on board, they did not ever mislead me. I approached them and checked their reviews first, I have found them to be a great company and cant thank them enough. I had a company cold call me in 2018 and I had to pay them over £1000 to get them to take my case which they said they would win - they didn't and to be honest they had no incentive as they already had been paid, apart from a moral one - which clearly they lacked. Appealmyrates don't ask for money up front, they are honest about what they can do, they deliver what they say and they communicate throughout. BRILLIANT. I am really grateful .
