UPDATE!! After 3 months of still trying to get a refund and alway being lied to by customer support my cc company was happy to do a chargeback for the full purchase price. Aosu even tried getting me to cancel the chargeback and said they would immediately refund me lol. Too late you scammers!!

Bought the newest 4K solar camera setup with 6 cameras. The image quality is horrible. Probably not even 1080p resolution. After contacting customer support I was told to ship cameras back for a full refund…… that was one month ago and still no refund. I have been in contact with their customer support and keep getting same answers. Within 7 days within 7 days…… junk cameras and horrible customer support. Save the hassle and buy better brand like Lorex. Should have done that to begin with ! Lesson learned. Will be doing a dispute for the charges through my cc company……

After several unanswered calls to the online customer service I gave up trying to improve the quality of Aosu Solar Camera. Not only does it not do what is advertised by the company it constantly sends motion alerts from branches moving in a tree. Push notification takes forever, the intruder is long gone before the notification comes through. A very poor camera, don't waste your money.
UPDATE: Aosu are asking me to clarify my review!!! Not sure how much clearer I can be, the review speaks for itself. Poor customer Service for Canada, Motion alerts for tree branch movement and heavy rain, Very slow push notifications, Intruder is gone by the time you get a notification!!!!!

In General I bought a door camera through Walmart back in 2024. Since buying it, I've had to learn how these cameras function.
You must have recording service through Glazero, and you must have a hot spot or wifi 2.4. It won't work any other way. It's very inexpensive, and the camera does catch poeple. I feel it's a deterant. Fencing around a yard is the best way to stop theft and even up too 3 cameras. But I did have a problem with the homepage breaking, and the whole set was replaced under warrantee. AOSU are very professional and they do help in so many ways work with you. The app is very user friendly.

There's no use for it other than putting it in the toilet.

After a great experience with one their doorbells, I decided to order a 4k cam kit. However, I never received the order and after giving them extra time after my promised delivery date, I messaged them to be told that it was not in stock for delivery. They could not give an estimated date therefore chose an alternative system. This never got posted although was told it was being sent. I have since lodged a case with PayPal and received a refund.
Very disappointed after my first experience with the company

Since my order was placed more than a month ago andgot no update. I requested for the order be cancelled and sent about three or four emails since last week and have received no response at all.

My experience with Aosulife has been one of the worst I've ever had with an online retailer. I placed an order on July 16th with a promised two-day delivery. I received only one of the four cameras I ordered.

Customer service claimed the rest were out of stock and promised an August delivery. That promise was broken, and they pushed the date to September. The most insulting part is that they're still taking orders for the same "out of stock" products on their website, promising new customers 2-3 day shipping.

Aosulife's practices are either completely incompetent or intentionally deceptive. They hold onto your money while providing nothing but broken promises and excuses. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company.

The system worked well until I changed internet provider. Although I did everything as per support guidance it would not connect to wifi. Wasted hours trying to connect and now in a drawer unused.

Purchased a camera and solar panel to cover our south facing garden. May as well have not bothered. In 8 out 10 cases, whenever I try to connect the camera, I get the message; "Connection is very slow. Try switching to smooth mode."

So I did. And still no connection was made. This useless pile of junk has now left us blind to any potential intruders.

If you need a security camera, there are plenty of vastly superior alternatives available.

Each time I place an order on the aosulife.com website, my order is accepted, and after waiting days for their so-called speedy delivery to arrive, I am told, "Unfortunately, the item you have ordered is out of stock"
Meanwhile, other outlets confirm that they have plenty in stock, but their prices are outrageous.
I feel something very fishy is going on here.

Déçu par cette marque. Achat de deux caméras intérieur et une extérieur sur panneau solaire. Après un an et demi, la caméra extérieur tombe en panne, suite à de nombreux échanges avec la marque, ils me proposent l'envoi d'une nouvelle caméra ce qui est bien de leur part. Une semaine plus tard, une caméra intérieur tombe elle aussi en panne et là, ils ne veulent rien entendre indiquant la garantie d'un an. Donc, pour résumer, la qualité est très médiocre, et il faut savoir que leurs produits sont jetable une fois la garantie dépassée. Ca fait cher les caméras.

Great product. Great value. Great support. Big thanks to Ann who helped me with a change to an order and as I’d arranged a partial refund due to me changing to a lower priced doorbell camera. Easy to set up. Watch the you tube videos before is my tip. I have ordered SD micro cards for my 3 products which saves using the additional cost cloud system. Ignore all the haters who just love having a whinge on Trust pilot. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed 👍

I ordered two weeks ago and the order has not been shipped yet. When I asked for more information from AOSU, they replied with general information.

OK… would have been a 5*… great camera, love it… I’ve had it for 3/4 months it does everything i wanted. The latest firmware update was around 4/26/25… we noticed 1 night it was making a new sound during the night and we both said well thats a new sound. Happened 3 times that night. I see 3 calls from the video camera showing 3 missed calls, Hmmm… so i tapped 1 of the numbers to return the call, low and behold it instantaneously connected live to my camera. After 2 customer service reps would not address my concerns as to why my camera was being remotely activated… i heard about the ring camera employees doing the same thing… I canceled my cloud subscription and going with a Memory card… will monitor unauthorized connectivity…

With so many makes of video doorbell cameras on the market, it seemed a minefield to know which to spend my hard earned money on.
After a considerable amount of time "surfing" and reading reviews, I came up with Aoso.
Frankly, a company I'd never heard of before.
I am so happy with my choice and customer support has been exemplary.
I would like to make a special mention of Julie, on the support team, who has been so helpful, to me, from purchase to installation.
I am only sorry that I do not have Julie's surname but you will soon know who I am talking about, if you have need to speak to her.

Delivery was very quick and easy to install. The App experience is good . I like aosu. If you has question they can give u a nice service.

Delivery was v quick and so easy to install. Very straightforward, most questions about which settings to choose are answered in the HELP. State of charge v easy to see in corner of main screen and you get a warning on yr phone when battery getting low. Recharging with a power bank also easy. I find on our setup a full charge lasts 6-8 weeks.

The camera worked ok until earlier this year but the drives managed to lose a week's worth of films for not apparent reason - customer services offered me a new door camera but didn't locate the lost videos

I absolutely love the aosu cctv cameras. I have bought five outdoor cctv cameras altogether. They are all excellent quality, so easy to setup literally took seconds to connect to wifi and installation didn't take long at all. I had great customer service experience from Noraine, who dealt with a query I had very promptly and professionally. I had a reply from her almost straight away with all the answers to my questions. She exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much Noraine. God bless you 🙏
