We originally joined the network when it was Affiliate Future, and at the time the structure worked well for our business. The platform suited smaller and growing programmes, and the commercial model felt performance-led.

Following the acquisition by Adtraction, things changed. During the recent migration process, we were informed that our programme did not meet the new minimum performance thresholds for automatic migration. The only option offered to remain on the new platform was a fixed £99 per month fee.

While I completely understand that acquisitions bring structural changes, it was disappointing that there was little flexibility for existing clients who joined under a different commercial framework. The shift effectively moved from a performance-based model to a fixed-cost model, regardless of volume.

For businesses considering joining, I would strongly recommend reviewing the long-term commercial structure carefully — especially if you are a smaller brand or still scaling.

Professional communication throughout, but unfortunately not a viable solution for us post-acquisition.

I recently asked Affiliate Future to close my account after promoting several of their partner companies and generating traffic in good faith. Despite this, they’ve refused to release the £10.86 I had rightfully earned, citing a £20 minimum payment threshold.

Frankly, it’s not about the money. What concerns me far more is the principle. They’ve entered into an agreement with me, and presumably with countless other bloggers and travel sites, where they profit from our time, reach, and credibility, but then hide behind internal policies to avoid paying out small balances. It’s an unfair and one-sided setup that feels more like corporate opportunism than a professional affiliate partnership.

A company that benefits from your work without holding up its end of the deal, however minor the sum, does not inspire trust. It raises questions about how many others are quietly short-changed the same way.

I’d advise fellow marketers to think twice before partnering with Affiliate Future. A good affiliate platform honours its partners and upholds basic standards of fairness, sadly, that has not been my experience here.
