Your account page will not show you how to cancel - by design

I signed up for a free trial in September 2025 and checked my account before it ended. My account showed no active subscriptions, no payment method on file, and no upcoming renewal date. Nothing to suggest I needed to take any action. On March 10, 2026, I was billed $468 with no prior notice.
When I contacted support the same morning, there was no attempt to understand my situation or help me. I was immediately told the charge was valid, pointed to fine print on a checkout page I can no longer access, and informed that their policy does not allow refunds. No exceptions, no goodwill, no acknowledgment that their account page gives customers nothing to act on.
I was also told that cancellation can only be done via live chat or email, not through the account page. There is no way to cancel from within your account, and they don't tell you this until after you've been charged.
I have since filed complaints with the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, and am disputing the charge with American Express.
If you are considering a free trial, know that your account page will not show you an active subscription, will not show your payment method, and will not give you any way to cancel. You have to contact them directly, but they won't tell you that until after you've been charged.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’d like to clarify how the trial and subscription process works.

The subscription terms are not hidden in fine print. We use Stripe Checkout, which includes standardized subscription disclosures that merchants cannot remove or modify. In addition to Stripe’s built-in notice, our checkout page also displays the subscription authorization in multiple clearly visible locations, explaining that by starting the trial you agree to recurring billing according to the subscription terms until the subscription is cancelled.

The trial period is typically three days, which allows users to quickly evaluate the product before the subscription begins. Because the trial is short, reminder emails may not always be generated before the trial converts.

As stated during checkout and in the terms accepted at signup, the subscription continues until it is cancelled. Cancelling before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue is a common practice across many subscription services.

For account security and to ensure requests are processed correctly, cancellation requests are handled through support (live chat or email). Our team is available to assist customers with account questions or cancellation requests.

We take billing concerns seriously and are willing to review individual cases. If you believe there has been an error with your account, please contact our support team directly so we can look into it.

Tolle Assets
