Be very careful with the AEJuice free trial.

I signed up for AEJuice's 179-day free trial and was later charged $234 (£175.10) when the trial automatically converted into a yearly subscription.

My issue isn't that subscriptions renew automatically. My issue is how the process was handled.

* No trial-ending reminder was sent.
* No renewal reminder was sent.
* There was no simple self-service cancellation option.
* Cancellation required contacting support directly.
* I requested cancellation and a refund within approximately one hour of discovering the charge.
* I did not use the service after the charge was taken.

AEJuice confirmed in writing that they do not send renewal reminders. They also refused a refund after multiple reviews, despite the fact that I contacted them almost immediately and had not used the service.

For me, £175 was a significant amount of money and caused genuine financial difficulty.

The product itself may be useful, but my experience with the subscription and billing process was extremely disappointing.

If you're considering the free trial, make absolutely sure you know when it ends and set your own reminders, because you may not receive one from AEJuice.

I’m really sorry for the stress this caused you, especially with £175 being a meaningful amount. Reading your review, I can see how frustrating it must have felt to be charged after a long trial without feeling clearly reminded, then have to reach out to cancel.

You’re right that, at the time of your trial, we did not send renewal reminders and cancellation required contacting support. That experience is not up to the standard we want to run the business at, and your review was one of the reasons we changed it.

Since then we’ve made three concrete updates:

Trial reminder emails: We now send an email 7 days before a trial ends so customers have a clear heads‑up before any charge.

Self‑service cancellation: You can now cancel directly from your account with a button, without needing to contact support.

More flexible refunds: We now offer refunds up to 7 days after a monthly charge and up to 30 days after a yearly charge for subscriptions that are not used in that period.

We can’t change your past experience, but we can change how we operate going forward, and we’ve done that.

Above and beyond!

Absolutely blown away by the level of customer service and support I received. Jacob personally reached out to schedule a one-on-one meeting to make sure everything with my package and installation process was going smoothly. He even took the time to ask what assets I felt were missing and what would better fit my workflow.

It’s rare to find a company that’s this hands-on and genuinely invested in their customers’ experience. The entire interaction was professional, accommodating, and far beyond what I expected. On top of that, they went above and beyond by providing additional custom assets tailored to my needs.

The quality of the assets is excellent, but the customer support is what truly sets this company apart. Highly recommend to anyone using Premiere Pro and looking for a company that actually cares about its customers.

Hidden cancel option, 117 days of zero notice before $468 auto-renewal, refund refused

I had an AEJuice trial that started in September 2025. Between November 28, 2025 and March 26, 2026 (117 days), AEJuice sent zero communication. No renewal reminder, no trial conversion notice, nothing. Then on March 26, 2026, my card was charged $468 without warning.When I tried to cancel through the customer billing portal, I discovered AEJuice has deliberately disabled the cancel option in their Stripe-powered subscription portal. The only way to cancel is through email or chat support, where the merchant controls timing and response. This is a textbook negative-option dark pattern that the FTC has specifically named in its rulemaking on subscription practices.I emailed support requesting a refund and account closure. Their reply (from "Michael") cited a refund policy that does not contain the language he claimed and did not address the 117-day notice gap or the disabled cancel option. The refund was refused.I have filed a chargeback dispute with my card issuer and a complaint with the BBB. AEJuice already has a C+ BBB rating for failing to respond to complaints.If you are considering AEJuice, understand: the trial converts silently, the cancellation path is hidden, and refunds are refused regardless of circumstance. Use a virtual card with a hard spending cap if you proceed at all.

To address a few of the points you raised:

At the time of your trial, our system did not send a reminder between signup and renewal, and cancellation was only possible via support (email/chat). That combination clearly did not feel fair or transparent from your side, and we take that seriously.
Your refund request was evaluated under our then‑current policy and declined, which contributed to the frustration.
Since then, we’ve made specific changes to prevent this experience in the future:

Trial reminder before billing: We now send an email 7 days before a trial ends so customers have a clear heads‑up before any charge.

Self‑service cancellation: Cancellation is now available directly from your AEJuice account, without needing to go through support. Our goal is that canceling is as simple as signing up.

More flexible refunds: We’ve updated our policy so that monthly subscriptions can be refunded within 7 days of the charge and yearly subscriptions within 30 days, provided the service is not used during that period.

Our intent has never been to trap anyone in a subscription, and your review is an example of feedback that pushed us to tighten our processes and make cancellation and refunds more straightforward.
