As someone who is pretty well versed in genetics, this site is a scam. I paid to have a more in depth look and it doesn't show that. None of this is personal- they just take your DNA information. I tried to cancel, but no where is that an option. Then they tried to speak in Spanish, which I happen to know... I just want a refund. Its clear theyre going to start charging monthly.

First of all, we would like to point out that we have no record of you being an actual ADNTRO customer. Over the last few months, we haven't had any open conversations in our customer support system under your details, nor do we have any charges registered under the name you used to leave this review.
If you are indeed an ADNTRO customer and have experienced issues canceling your subscription, it is as simple as contacting us at hello@adntro.com, and we will be more than happy to guide you through the process. Additionally, on our website, you can find a FAQ chat that explains the cancellation steps in detail.
Regarding your comment about the lack of depth in our reports: at ADNTRO, we analyze more than 700,000 genetic markers and, thanks to genetic imputation, we evaluate up to 12 million markers. This allows us to show the impact of your genetics on the risk of suffering from more than 300 diseases, as well as offer personalized pharmacogenetic recommendations for more than 50 medications. Our health section also includes details on the reliability, size, and quality of the study for each result, heritability, prevalence, analyzed genes, and a direct link to the scientific research we base our findings on. If you have any suggestions on how we can provide even more detail, we would be glad to hear them.
Additionally, we have a very comprehensive Nutrition area, which can even be applied with the help of a professional through nutrigenetic consultations. All of this, along with sections such as Sports, Personality, Ancestry, or Longevity, is continuously updated, offering at least one new feature every month.
An essential point to highlight: we are one of the few companies that do not compromise the privacy of our users. We do not look for relatives nor ask for unnecessary personal data.
Finally, regarding your claim that we charge monthly, this is a serious and unfounded accusation. We currently offer either an annual subscription or a lifetime access plan, chosen by the customer. We offer a 3-month free trial period for users to test our subscription, and they can cancel at any time if they decide they do not want to make any payment. Furthermore, we send a reminder email to all our customers days before so they can cancel if they wish. We truly cannot be more transparent in this regard.

Insides into the hard-coded part of yourself
Very interesting insides into the hard coded part of yourself, with a good deal of information available if you want to dive into the scientific knowledge behind each result, and links to the relationship papers.
I good the lifetime update service, and the company keeps indeed adding updates to already existing results, as well as new ones.
Overall quite happy to it.
Maybe not the best regarding heritage, but I think it was a good choice because of data protection and quality of the information about your genetic profile (food, intolerances, how your body deals with injuries, allergies, likelihood of some illnesses, propension to some behaviors, recommended sports, how some drugs work with your body... A lot :)

Regarding the mtDNA, we would like to clarify that if you uploaded a file from another company such as MyHeritage, that information is not included in the original RAW file, so we cannot display data that isn't there. Additionally, please note that AncestryDNA stopped providing this specific data in January, which could be another reason why it is missing from your results.
However, if you purchased your kit directly from us, you should definitely have access to this information. If that is the case and for some reason you don't see it, please email us at hello@adntro.com and we will be happy to look into it for you.

I am still pretty surprised that the ancient admixture origins actually almost matched my modern day origin results on my ancestry test perfectly! The only thing that threw me off was the ancient asian part, but that completely makes sense after realizing that it just split my indigenous american amounts and traced them to their oldest origins! I am just mind blow at how accurate and close it got to my modern results with using just raw data. I've uploaded two different types of data too, once with ancestry and the other with my heritage and both times VERY close to each other in results, obviously not exactly the same being that these were two different tests. Some hits were lower or higher. I recommend it!

ADNTRO, fácil, cómodo y con diseño atractivo
El proceso con ADNTRO es fácil. El paquete llega a casa bien, aún viviendo en el estranjero y los resultados han salido antes de lo previsto.
Además, la app en la que te presenta todo es muy visual y fácil de entender. Pero si te interesa ser más específico y leer los estudios, también tienes los enlaces directamente desde cada sección.
Estoy muy contenta y me gusta que se vayan publicando novedades cada cierto tiempo.
