Very happy with addyinvest.ca
I’ve been very happy with addyinvest.ca I’ve done 26 properties so far and love the diversity of offerings they offer. It is very cool to decide how much or how little I want to be in any given property. One property has exited early at a nice gain. Others have had distributions while others are still in the development stages.

I've been investing with Addy for about a year and a half and it's been an awesome experience.
Their platform both on iOS and browser are easy to navigate. Communications via email, app, browser, and newsletter are clear and transparent. I've reached out to support a few times and each time they've been prompt, attentive, and helpful.
I feel confident investing with Addy and as a member I'm excited to see them grow. Accessible investing in real estate is so innovative and it's exciting to see purpose led development for all looking to invest.

When I first heard about crowd funding…
When I first heard about crowd funding real estate I was skeptical but after some research found addy to be unique in its offering and authentic. Responses were quick to questions and the offerings were unique and open to all people, even with $1 which to me was crazy but also amazing. I’ve gotten a few dividend type payments and plan to reinvest. It’s great to feel part of the property market without putting all my eggs in that basket.

Membership should be % of purchase
Membership should be % of purchase not 25$ per year. You boast about being real estate for everyone but I’ll bet many low income earners are turned off by the membership. 25$ for someone wanting 100$ of real estate is expensive. 2.5% fee is acceptable.

Generally a great idea
Generally a great idea! But I don't like the fact that I have to link my bank account in order to add to my wallet. Also, I would like to be able to invest through a self-directed RRSP or TFSA account. Also, It is unclear how my beneficiaries would go about collecting my funds in case of my death even if I have Addy listed in my will. I emailed that question to Addy and was promised the answer but have not been contacted since (about a month).

Unfortunately, these investments can't be held in registered accounts. As addy grows we are excited about the possibility of advocating for addys to be included in RRSP and TFSA accounts.

Nice website to get access to real estate. Love some of the deals so far, but haven't seen any new deals in the last 5 months or so.
I have the basic level membership. Negatives are the super slow process to deposit and withdraws can only do $500 a day!

Regarding the withdrawals, please note that you can reach out to support@addyinvest.com to be approved for a larger withdrawal based on your account history.

The Lex profits exceeded expectation
Great investment for real estate. Where can you invest confidently in real estate with as little as 1.00. Amazing!! Most of my investments have been between 1000.00 and 1500.00. I have already seen profits that exceeded the projected maximum profit on the Lex in Vancouver. Great to be associated with such a knowledgeable and energetic team. Keep on bringing these great deals.
