Let me start by saying that I don't leave negative reviews unless it is genuinely justified!
However 'Appalling or non existent customer service Just about covers it!
You don't need to read any further unless you really want to see if 1 star is a fair rating.....
The product not in stock I later found out when I contact and receive a generic email (a week after ordering). The email also informed me that I could get updates from their website, NOT the case! I was not a member, I had checked out as a guest, therefore Acycles website did not recognise my order number! As more and more time passed I repeatedly sent emails asking for an update with no reply! 2 Days ago I received a notification that my order had shipped, but the tracking simply showed the GLS had received notification of shipment. Today it was on my doorstep when I arrived home from work, a whole month after ordering!!! Now I have the annoyance of trying to return this item with PayPals assistance as I ordered the product from somewhere else and received it quickly! The order could not be cancelled as I could not get in contact! If you are wondering why I didn't contact them by phone, it's because they don't answer it!
This was a truly unpleasant purchasing experience that I will not be repeating!
Update: PayPal will not pay for the return shipment as they don't deem it to be a problem that acycles take four weeks to deliver in stock items and don't communicate!

BAD BAD BAD - don't buy from Acycles.
I agree with all of the recent comments. They are either on the brink of going down or have already. My experience was to order an Elite turbo trainer that had a problem with the belt. I emailed Elite customer service with some photos ad videos and they sent me a new one. That failed after a fe minutes so Elite agree that the unit was faulty and could not be repaired. Despite that, Acycles still INSISTED I send it back, which I did. It was expensive to send to France, and now it is weeks later and I still don't know anything. No response from customer service. I will go through my credit card now.

I put a order in last week and have heard nothing since they have taken payment yet i have recieved nothing. I have tried to contact them but again i have heard nothing i have put a dispute in with paypal as to me this seems like a bogus company avoid if you wont to actually recieieve your product.

I would like to give zero stars, Made an order that should or arrived in 3 working days ? After 2 weeks, I still had not had my order ? Contacted there customer services, no answer ? Left it a few days, Then tried ringing there customer services, got a european ring tone, No one answered, messaged again, still no answer ? Then out of nowhere got a message telling my order was on its way and it did arrive a few days later, but for me the lack of communication was very poor !

Bought a high-end carbon wheelset which ended up having a fault so raised a warranty issue, Acycles agreed to take it up with the manufacturer however its been several weeks and I have no status update nor are they reachable via email or phone, I have tried several occasions to reach them and have even resorted to call thier French customer support line, but it seems they are equally as bad to their domestic clientes!
Will I ever get my expensive wheel back?!?! I will update this post with developments...

Purchased a Kask Mojito helmet in July for £99. It felt suspiciously light by i thought i'd keep it as the helmet is supposed to be light. Six months later and a section of the helment has broken off. As the helmet is supposed to have 2 month warranty, I emailed them to advise them of the problem. I was asked to send it to their Paris address for inspection.
A month later and after several emails asking for a status update I am yet to receive any response, They have chosen to ignore all my emails despite be receiving confirmation that they have received the helmet.
Don't deal with this company. Their customer service is non-existent
Buy with caution
After 8 long days numerous phone calls that no one answers and emails that no one answers. I finally got my item so will not be using again unfortunately
The worst on line ordering experience…
The worst on line ordering experience ever. Ordered a bike helmet in December 2018 and i am writing this review in March 2019 and i still have not received the helmet. Looking at the courier tracking it stayed stuck in the same place for weeks and has now been delivered back to them somewhere in France on 26th February. No refund has yet been received and i cannot get through to speak to anyone. Avoid at all costs!
AVOID ACYCLES
Like many others reviewing, Acycles listed a product they did not have in stock and took payment immediately. I chased via email for 2 months and then finally cancelled my order, when it was clear they would not stock the item. ACycle customer services said they would make a full refund and requested IBAN/BIC info, that I sent (they are based in France and not the UK!!). After 8 weeks still no refund - and customer services stopped responding to my emails.
I started a dispute resolution with EU On-line Dispute Platform but finally went to my bank - who refunded immediately, and are now chasing Acycles.
Avoid - there are too many customers that have experienced this shocking business behaviour and abysmal customer service. Buy from Wiggle and SigmaSports - they are the best!
Just buy from your local bike shop instead
Very slow to process order for items that were "in stock". Delivery was ok once the order was finally processed. Some items were missing from order when I received the order and acyles have ignored my emails and appear to have deleted the associated support ticket. Oh and they keep sending me multiple abandoned cart emails for the order they sent me. In summary: don't bother!
APPALLING
APPALLING. . . Still no delivery (4 weeks now), still no refund, no response to any of my emails or complaint tickets, they have actually closed my ‘open ticket’ TWICE!
THIS OUTFIT SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
Unacceptable service from Acycles
Unacceptable service from Acycles. Originally ordered 2 items showing as in stock from them on the 24th of Jan. After two weeks of chasing them, they replied that one of the items was not available so they would send one item and refund for the other.
I have chased them twice now for the refund but it is still not forthcoming. They provide no updates or communication unless you chase them first and the whole online shopping experience with them is very poor. Will not purchase from them again and would advise others not to either.
Awful customer service
I ordered a pair of sunglasses as the beginning of December. After weeks of asking when dispatch would be, I had an email on the 24th to say that they had still not taken delivery of the item (these were intended as a Christmas gift) so I cancelled the order as asked for a refund.
Two whole months later and too many emails to count, I am still no closer to receiving a refund.
This is not a company I can recommend I’m afraid and is the only company I’ve ever dealt with that has been this unprofessional

Great service. Acycles had what I was after when everyone else had no stock! Delivered relatively quickly. Just remember they are despatching from France.
Took 3 weeks to get me my order
Took 3 weeks to get me my order, despite it saying they were in stock at the point of purchase. Chased it up, was told it was out of stock. Chased it up again, didn't receive a personal response but a notification of despatch. In the meantime I had ordered the same thing from Sigma, which arrived in 48 hours. Good to have spares I guess.

Misleading customers and taking payments dishonestly
ACycles took payment for a product which they didn't have in stock, so could not dispatch to me, and knew they were unlikely to get in stock again (the product is not available anywhere on the internet - ACycles was the last website showing it as available).
They have not responded to my emails on requesting an update or a refund, and they do not answer their customer service phone number. There is no postal address on their website and I'm worried now that I've been duped.
It has been nearly two weeks since my order.
