Tutors were extremely supportive throughout the course. Flexible enough to suit to your busy schedule.

This was a tough course and at times found it very challenging especially with my dyslexia. However, some of the tutors where great and very helpful which helped me get through.

My experience with AOLL has been nothing short of fantastic. The course is pretty tough but the tutors are incredibly supportive from the feedback on coursework that they mark very quickly, to support telephone calls when you are stuck on a unit. I'm so thankful for their support. Alongside everything else, they provide support with your UCAS application and provide a reference. Thanks to them I have received two university offers and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!

Studying with AOLL over the past year has been a great experience and my course has definitely prepared me for University. Nicola and Steve were my tutors and have been great, very quick to respond to things as well as marking work promptly, with helpful feedback. Additionally, the help I received with my UCAS application was useful, in particular the academic reference and I have a place for Uni in September. I found the course hard work but varied and interesting and I have definitely learnt a lot along the way. Fitting it in around family, work and life did feel at times challenging but it is definitely achievable and I am really pleased I did it.

Having been out of education for a number of years the beginning of the course was great for getting back into academic writing and citing. The course was well structured and being able to work at your own pace was excellent, the UCAS assistance was also particularly helpful. My tutors, Caroline and Alison were responsive and gave great feedback.

Fitting the studying in around work, family and everyday life can be challenging but I will be starting my Paramedic Science degree in September which I would not have able to do without this course.

The resources that were provided were brilliant. I never thought I’d be able to complete a course on my own at home but I did I did it!!!

I have enjoyed the course. Module information was detailed, having the ungraded modules helped to get used to the whole process and getting back into the swing of things with studying. The tutors were helpful and gave constructive feedback on the assignments, and it's helpful being able to start the assignment when is convenient for you. Also having the Facebook group is really useful, as there's the opportunity to get support from other students. It's essential to be self motivated though and there will be times it feels overwhelming but it's definitely worth it :)

The course is very easy to follow. Topics given to study are relevant to the subject area wanting to study at university. All instructions are very clear and all tutors are extremely helpful.

I really enjoyed studying as a mature student with AOLL, the course was interesting and the support was very good. The course allowed me to continue working alongside studying which is a great bonus. Would highly recommend if you are looking to change careers or as an alternative to A-Levels.

When researching, I came across many companies which offer at home learning.
I'm glad I chose AOLL, the flexibility to complete my work in a time frame which suited me, and begin my course immediately rather than waiting until September really suited my needs.

Amazing tutors, they're so helpful and patient when you don't understand a subject and always reply promptly as well as marking assignments quickly. The assignments come thick and fast but are well structured and you are always supported.

The course was tailored to my needs to be able to get onto my University course. The staff are very supportive throughout and a wide range of subjects are covered.
