Highly recommend Academy Online Learning. Despite me doing my access course in 2023 they supported me to apply to university. Lecturers here supported me alot resulting in me getting 39 distinctions one pass (capped due to word count or it would have been 42 distinctions) and one merit. I applied and received a scholarship and a place at a my first choice university. Amy Green has been amazing and is always supportive, they will always support you regardless of when you studied with them. Lecturers here are fantastic. Positive from start to finish!
The communication, content and tutors were all fantastic at supporting when I requested help. Despite being online, I never felt that this was a problem as tutors responded quickly the same day. The course content was great and helped me in my current role whilst additionally preparing me for university in the next year.
Learning materials and additional websites were all provided to enable me to complete my research independently.
So glad I chose Academy Online, being a mature student and out of education for a while it's done wonders for my confidence.

The tutor I have been provided with is very helpful and is always there if I need any assistance or to have my questions about the course answered.

Paramedic Science
The subjects covered in the course are varied and broad which is good. The learning materials often don't contain the information required to complete the follow-on quiz and contain grammatical errors, sentences that don't make sense and diagrams that either can't be viewed/don't load or are unreadable. The support from tutors is generally OK, but sometimes you have to wait a while for a response.

How I am finding my access to higher education
I'm finding my access to higher education in Biology and Chemistry experience amazing! The flexibility to work part-time is a huge plus, and the tutors are always there to help whenever I get stuck. Even at the beginning of the course, I'm loving it. The material is interesting and really educational, which makes all the difference.

The Start of a New Chapter
