This course was amazingly structured and the IT staff and AOLL staff were brilliant throughout, Chrissy my first tutor at the beginning of the course was absolutely great so helpful and an amazing tutor, I would highly recommend this access course.

AOL have been so supportive when it comes to helping me pursue my dream career and attend university. My tutors Barinu and Jessica were lovely and helpful, but were not pushy at all when it came to submitting work. They reciprocated the same energy when it came to communication which I highly appreciated as a busy full time dental nurse. Their submission feedback was always thorough and their encouragement and praise always pushed me to do better. Amy, the manager, has also been a sweetheart to speak with regarding anything.

At one point I lost hope and thought I would have to settle with my job and feel un-challenged for a long time, but AOL has pushed me to pursue my dreams. Thank You :)

Very helpful and got me a place in university

Access to higher education course is perfect for those who want to get into university. All the subjects studied are tailored to required course at university. The support is great, tutors are amazing, you can text anytime and they will respond very promptly. Very happy with my experience!

Was low in confidence when I started and didn't believe I could really gain an access course in paramedicine but did it. AOLL were amazing and supported me the whole way, AOLL always provided encouragement and resources for me along the way to go on and achieve a start in my dream career.

A truly wonderful course, especially for those with busy lifestyles, having completed a year's worth of work in 9 months. Tutors are prompt in response, and check in to make sure you're doing okay - being involved only as much as you desire, not adding extra pressure. Being able to choose when you begin an assignment was fab, enabling me to work around being a mum, working, and running a home - all while studying. I ended my course with more credits than needed for paramedic science, I definitely didn't expect that - the support of tutors and access to the VLE at all hours definitely helped - studying at 3am is actually very peaceful! 😂 With great thanks to my tutors Nicola and Steve, who have definitely prepared me for uni, and the quality that will be expected - and great thanks to Amy for support through tough moments.

I definitely recommend this course, and am currently studying maths with the same company. Thank-you!

This was the perfect course to get myself back into the educational enviroment

I recently enrolled in the "Access to HE Nursing" course at Academy Online Learning, and I must say it has been a fantastic experience so far. Right from the beginning, the reception staff was incredibly supportive and accommodating. They provided me with all the necessary information about the enrollment process and the various payment options available. Their patient and clear explanations made me feel confident and inspired to enroll immediately.

Academy Online Learning has been excellent, everything about the course was well structured, easy to understand, and you can get as much or as little help as you want, it's very flexible. I was able to complete my access course in around 8.5 months whilst working full time, and the tutors were always prompt in responding to any questions I had. The marking and grading was fair, with helpful constructive feedback on how to improve on future assignments. The assignments were relevant with great reading material provided, and it has really helped to set me up well for university, I now have a confirmed place to study dental hygiene and I am so thankful. It was also great to get the help with the UCAS application, along with the academic reference! My tutors were great- Nicola, Alison and Jenny, and Amy Green is also very helpful with any questions you have. Thank you !!

Going into learning after being out of school for a while was tough at the beginning, but AOLL has plenty of resources and excellent tutors on hand to help.
Everyone I spoke to was more than helpful and my tutor was fantastic in helping me with anything I was stuck on!
I started in late August and finished my course of 60 credits at the end of May. They also send you your progress once a month so you're able to see if you're on track to finish on time.
This course has given me the UCAS credits and the confidence to start university this September and I have no regrets, I feel really prepared. Not only was the course about anatomy and physiology, you learn about referencing, writing and essay skills. They are also on hand to help with UCAS applications which was helpful to me as I'm applying for university independently because I'm not in a school/college.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who's looking to go to university and wants the confidence/ UCAS points. It is completed in your own time so I've managed to do this around a full time shift work job, although I will say you will need to be dedicated to the course and put the effort and time in, it's not an easy ride! Most of my assignments were two week deadlines, meaning of have to come home from work and do the learning / assignments, I would not have been able to complete them using days off alone.
All in all a really good access course and excellent online learning :)

This course benefited my career, although I have deferred going to University. My tutors have been nothing but the best in aiding me on my assignment and giving me help If I didn't understand anything. I 100% recommendation.

I was apprehensive about distance learning but I soon found out there was nothing to worry about.

My tutors were extremely supportive and I knew they would get back to me quickly should I have needed clarification or help.

The course has been planned out very well and I actually enjoyed completing the assignments.
