We had a problem with our downstairs front window. We were given an appointment straight away. Rob from the Carpentry team attended. Within ten minutes he had replaced the window hinges and the job was completed. Great service and genuinely nice chap.

I am a abri Tennant, I have recently and are still having a issue with heating, during the course of this dispute I was given two kilowatt fan heaters,
No questions where asked about any health issues.
No warnings where given as to potential risks,
These heaters are a serious health concern. Especially for asthma suffering adults and children, I can't upload the relevant information concerning the issues relating to this,please Google 2 kilowatt fan heaters for asthma sufferers,,
I am in the process of highlighting this issue with somerset council and my local mp.
Please other residents be careful,
I am now it the process of reporting this issue to the consumer protection agency.

Thanks for taking the time to share your concerns. We’re really sorry to hear you’re still having problems with your heating, and that you feel your health concerns weren’t taken into account when the heaters were provided. We understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you just want to be warm and comfortable in your home.
We’ve arranged for engineers to attend and look into the heating issue. When our operative attended on 18 September, unfortunately you weren’t at home. As we knew you were still without heating, they left two fan heaters at the property so you could keep warm in the meantime, until another visit could be arranged.
We take our customers’ health and safety seriously, and we’d really like to understand more about your concerns around the heaters. We'd also like to arrange another timeslot for engineers to visit your home so they can look into your original heating issues.

Now do more 10 years , 2026 and I am very lucky with Apri- socialhousing where I am supported for whatever concerns, problems, issues when i am in struggling with rent, contracts and repairs services.

Appalling unprofessionalism and total lack of communication
First of all I am not an Abri customer but live in a Semi Detached property where our neighbours are. Last year Abri carried our repair work on our jointly shared chimney stack and we agreed to have scaffolding in our garden so the work could be carried out. They carried out the repair and we then discovered on our property several months later when we had rain that there were serious damp patches showing on the chimney breast, which spans into 2 bedrooms. We are not exactly sure what work or disturbance was done, as we didn’t have a report shown to us before proceeding. Since this has happened our neighbours have also had bad leaks and new scaffolding went up on June 7th of this year. Having researched the correct procedure to follow if you are having work done which affects your neighbour such as a party wall or chimney it is necessary to produce a surveys report, clearly stating the nature of the work. “The Party Wall Act 1996”
We have now tried to contact Abri 3 times in writing to get such a report and 2 complaint forms with no success. We have still, after 3 months received nothing from them and there has been no movement with the work.
The whole matter has caused considerable stress and cost to ourselves and I have been appalled at the unprofessionalism and lack of communication of this company.

Excellent plumber
Previously, Abri were with surrsure which were absolutely useless.Abri took all heating insulations et cetera not sure what I’m on about but took it all in house. Had a great plumber called Sean. He installed a radiator in my dining roomwhich I’ve been waiting for nearly a year in my dining room. Sean then fitted it excellent. Then and a came around today to do a gas service check and check two radiators in my bedroom to ensure they were working. Excellent service if you ever need anyone from Abri heating asked for Sean.
