We can provide weekend training, separated blocks of training and the flexibility to spread the training over a period of up to 18 months.

Nice intro to plumbing foundations
I have completed 5 days plumbing foundation course at AbleSkills. The course was structured in a way that newbies like me can learn and practice in less stressful way. The tutor Tony was kind and patient to answer all questions by the students. I now have better familiarity of tools and techniques to do the basic plumbing.

Electrical Level 3 - 2365
I’ve just completed my Level 3 Electrical with Steve as my tutor. It’s been a great experience and I’ve learnt a lot. Steve was a fantastic teacher, he had time and patience for everyone and ensured the whole group understood the subject. I’ll be sure to book any future courses with Able Skills.

I have just finished my NVQ level 2 in Bricklaying.
I have just finished my NVQ level 2 in bricklaying and loved every bit of it. Simon was my instructor and he made me feel very welcomed from the beginning. He went above and beyond to help and guide me through my assessments, teaching and showing me lots of little tricks to improve. I would 100% recommend the bricklaying course! Thank you Simon!!

Great experience and training on the boiler breakdown/ fault finding course ..
Had been looking into getting more involved within the boiler aspect and this delivers , plus you get hands on with the wiring side aswell S/Y plans etc ..
The tutor (sam Cidwick ) massive thanks for a great time and relaying a easy approach to learning new skills..
Saw lots of other trade skills going on in other units and they looked busy and after my experience i can see why ..

I attended the Boiler fault finding and…
I attended the Boiler fault finding and diagnostics course week commencing 02/03/2026. My instructor was Sam who was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole course. Whilst the course was theory and practical, the class was very chilled and everybody got on so well.
Sam explained things so that everyone could understand clearly and if anyone didn’t understand anything, then we would go over it again.
The course was excellent and all the staff were amazing. Thanks for a great course and great instruction and best wishes for the future.
I’d highly recommend the gas courses on offer, but I can go by the gas boiler fault finding and diagnostics course. I’ve spoken to previous candidates who have completed the gas courses and all have said how good they were.

Bricklaying course is excellent
Course excellent. Learnt so much in a week, unbelievable. Gave me the confidence to go out and apply all the skills learnt.
Course leaders Simon and Martin were fantastic! Great knowledge, funny stories and really thorough on their demonstrations.
