A 2 day refresher course before 2391-52 practical exam the following morning helped me so much towards passing both the theory, practical and form filling requirements.
Steve (yoda) Peters explained in depth with understanding every aspect of the inspection and testing process needed for the exam and going forward.
Highly recommend the course and Steve Peter’s patience and technique on teaching method.

Steve as a instructor was great to have. He has vast knowledge of the field and teaching is the best. The practice room and equipments are great. All you needed for your trade skills study.

Enjoyed my experience completing both the 18th Edition Wiring Regulation course and Electrical Installation Level 3. Both teachers were experienced and informative during both the theory and practical work.

Course was well set out and Steve the assessor was friendly and approachable.

Steve Briggs was and is an excellent instructor. The 2396 course is very challenging, especially if you have been away from the theory side for a long time, but Steve teaches it in a clear and practical way.

I stayed in the accommodation, which made everything much easier. With only a small amount of travel, I had more time to focus on the homework and studying, which definitely helped.

The course is well laid out, and it felt like Steve adjusted the teaching to suit the people on the course. That made a big difference because everyone comes in with different experience and different strengths.

What stood out most was the support after the classroom week. It was not just the initial five day course. Steve also gave us take away packs for the following two weeks so we could keep studying at home. On top of that, he ran evening question sessions where he posted questions, timed them, and gave feedback. It felt like the support carried on well after the course had finished.

He was also very quick with project feedback and marking. I got my feedback back in about a week, which was really impressive.

Overall, I think Steve does an amazing job teaching a very difficult course and supporting a wide range of candidates. I would highly recommend Able Skills and Steve Briggs to anyone doing the 2396.

Very good experience, learned a lot, was given extremely good guidance and Steve provided me with lots of knowledge to get me through my 2391 electrical course.

Done my level 2 home study course and had a great experience at able skills. Keith who was my teacher was very professional and has a great knowledge which great for understanding the course

Good course well taught and since I passed managed to do what my teachers at school failed to achieve.

Just finished the practical assessment on 2391-52 with Steve .All I can say is that Able Skills have one of the best people in the team. We started with the two days refresher course and he explained everything in detail. Highly recommend doing the refresher courses.

Just finished week 1 of the level 3 2365 Home Study Electrical course. Absolutely brilliant. Steve, the tutor was clear and so enthusiastic it made the week enjoyable and passable, which is the main thing!

Did the beginners painting and decorating and then did the wallpapering course. Enjoyed every minute and the course went too fast! Learnt so much in a week and instructors were patient and explained things well. Great course for the trades or keen DIYers.

Very well ran class and course, would 100% recommend to anyone looking at doing a 2391-52. Word on Rob as well, he’s a credit to able skills, taught the class superbly and was very open to questions and any issues we had, he also made what couldve been a stressful and tough week very enjoyable due to his character and sense of humour, top bloke and I thank him for his efforts.

I attended the 3 week painting and decorating course. They were super flexible and I was able to split my 3 weeks into two visits. This was helpful due to childcare and work commitments.

The instructors had great knowledge and went above and beyond to pass their experience on.

I was able to practice with multiple projects and able to learn (as well as make mistakes) in a controlled environment with the help and guidance to work correctly and more efficient for the future.

I would highly recommend anyone to attend this course, as well as myself in the future.
