I cannot recommend the team at 3iC enough for the PfCO course I have recently completed with them. I chose 3iC initially for their competitive price and affordability. What I had not expected was the high level of backup and support when needed. If you have questions then the response is quick with exactly the information you want at the time. Brilliant!

3iC have a fantastic approach to training, that is well suited to the current climate and for the busy person with a hectic diary.

The learning is at your own pace, and the delivery style really appealed to myself and the structured delivery which tests your knowledge at multiple points is reassuring to know.

If anything i believe that my course was above and beyond what i needed but the course leader had advised me that it was not set by them but by the CAA.

Would recommend and in the future would be happy to gain further training if required from this organisation.

I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience using 3iC. From start to finish the tutors were always available to answer any questions and made the distanced learning part of the course extremely accessible. The course itself was thorough and ensured the theory exam wasn't too daunting considering how challenging certain areas of the exam were. Sitting the theory test online via zoom during Lockdown was brilliant, and the assessor did their best to accommodate my schedule. I couldn't speak highly enough of Peter my flight/practical examiner, who was always on hand to answer my questions within minutes of me asking, setting me up for success and calming my nerves during the flight test. Since passing, I have recommended 3iC to multiple drone pilots looking to gain their PfCO, knowing they will be in the best hands possible.

I opted for 3iC after reviewing several other providers. While 3iC is very competitive on price they deliver an excellent service. The course materials were very clear, along with further downloads to augment and reinforce learning (or keep up to date with the legislation). I did not mind the emphasis on fixed wing training - it was a very sound reminder of the nature of what I was training to do. The arrangements for the theory assessment were very clear and I had no difficulty linking up with my assessor, when I needed it.
3iC also worked wonders to get me a practical flight assessment close to where I live. So. all round, I have to say that my 3iC experience was very positive ... out of principle I never give 5 star reviews (we all need somewhere to go!) so this is me stating that 3iC is a company I'd recommend without reservation.

Very happy with the service. Course content was easy to follow and the assessment process was smooth. A very straightforward way to gain your PFCO. Couldn't have asked for better. Liz was very responsive for any help with course or operation manual creation. Andre was very good in the practical assessment with the addition on great tips for photos/videos.

If you're looking to get your Pfco then I would highly recommend using 3iC! I decided that I would get the Pfco for myself during the lockdown and they were so incredibly helpful during the whole process. They simply things incredibly well for someone like me who has no idea what I'm doing, from the first email to the last. The package is very thorough and at first glance seems daunting but 3iC make things so easy such as operations manual & systems manual.

It was all done remotely and from the comfort of my home, obviously not including the practical assessment!

Cheap, really easy to understand for complete newbies and quick. Highly recommend using 3iC!

I recently completed my PfCO UAV qualification with 3iC. The theory and exam was done entirely on line followed by the practical flight assessment at a nearby location. Both the Theory and Practical were very well delivered in a professional and friendly manner. The 3iC team were very supportive and provided excellent on line communications. I now have a full CAA approval for commercial flight operations thanks to the team at 3iC. I highly recommend you getting in touch with them if you are thinking of going for this qualification.

I undertook the online PfCO training course and couldn't be happier with the outcome. The course provided by 3iC is well put together and you can undertake it at your own pace. Offline support was easy to reach and any questions or queries were dealt with efficiently, thoroughly and professionally.

Each module has a practice test at the end of it and there is a further mock exam at the end of the final module. This sets you up well for the real thing. Having undertaken the course during the covid lockdown, I was extremely impressed by the adaptability demonstrated by 3iC in offering online exam invigilation whilst still ensuring a sterile exam environment. As I mentioned earlier, support was easy to reach even in this tricky time for many businesses.

Once the theory assessment was completed, the templates for the required manuals were very helpful and spot on for the PfCO submission. They will also supply templates for other models of UAS upon request which I found impressive and again helpful.

Further practical flight training is available prior to the practical assessment. Andre Knight undertook mine and again, this proved to be invaluable, would highly recommend the service and him personally.

In summary then, you'd pretty much have to be a fool to look elsewhere when considering a PfCO. 3iC were fantastic from start to finish even during a time of immense economic, social and professional upheaval. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

The modules are well laid out and the end of module exam really helps, when it comes to sitting the real thing.

The manual template is well designed and very detailed. This is s real help with sitting up a company / business.

The assessment was very well run with a great instructor / assessor (Andre Knight).

A really worthwhile company to get your PfCO with. 3iC have been brilliant throughout.

There are clear, informative powerpoint modules with quizzes to prep for the theory exam.

Fantastic templates to write an Ops Manual - so clear and detailed. Using them really helps get to grips with the responsibilities and business aspect of drone flying and they are much more than a process of ticking boxes.

Really quick to respond with inquiries and questions regarding the content of the training or writing of manuals.

Assessment centres all over the UK with brilliant assessors. I had to reschedule a couple of times due to the weather and the pandemic, but we were always able to aim to get an assessment in with a week or two.

Very reasonable price - though don't forget to budget for the CAA's administrative costs when putting in your final application.

I had been planning to do a residential course but Covid intervened and the 3iC on-line course was an obvious alternative. I found that the later units more interesting/relevant, Units 1 & 2 are dry CAA requirements - don't be discouraged, there is a lot of really useful learning.
All was self explanatory, but any queries were answered extremely promptly.
I found the the extra training that is offered prior to to the Practical Flight Assessment invaluable.

Excellent customer service. Superb documents and great attention to detail. I will highly recommend 3iC for any drone compliance requirement.

I am a videographer that needed to add the option of drone shots to offer my clients. 3iC was attractive to me as i could take the online course in my own time. It was a great way to learn the material. The quiz at the end of each chapter helped you stay on track. Once you have finished the course you can then take your exam and flight assessment. During the whole experience you are supported by 3iC with any questions or concerns you may have. Liz in particular was so helpful and I felt like she went above and beyond to look after me. Pete handled my exam and practical assessment and he was highly professional and supported me with any additional questions I had. This course is incredible value for money and i cannot recommend 3iC highly enough.

I chose 3iC because as a busy freelance cameraman, I needed an online course provider rather than having to lose work while doing a residential course elsewhere. The price was attractive too!

The course is comprehensive and the tutor narrating it (sadly I don't know who it was as there was never an introduction) was engaging and good-humoured.

Any questions I had during the course were answered very quickly by 3iC.

The Practical Assessment was my biggest fear, but my assessor, Geoff, was very approachable, helpful and I felt like he was 'on my side' rather than looking for faults (I had a couple!).

I passed the course, and in just 5 working days received my PfCO from the CAA.

Having run a full time photography business for over 13 years, we decided to add a totally different aspect to our services with the use of a drone, obviously a pfco was required & after a comprehensive search online I found a so called ‘professional’ company offering training over 3 days, close to where I live. I was let down numerous times after booking with them, poor communication & total lack of customer service.
Then I came across 3iC.... from the very first conversation with them, they were a breath of fresh air compared to what I had dealt with previously. They answered all my questions & concerns before I booked with them, & the best part was they are a lot cheaper than anyone else. The course supplied was very good & informative & could be done at a pace suitable to my work schedule, which was great for me. At the end of each module you have a test, which is great to check your progress through the course. On completion of the course 3iC help you construct a comprehensive operations manual which is required to be sent to the CAA, once your practical is completed. The flight assessment was promptly booked at a location close to me, with a guy named Simon, who is one of the nicest fellas you will meet. The flight assessment was really enjoyable & I had opted for a couple of extra hours tuition, which I would highly recommend, just to bring you up to speed & learn things which come in very handy. This was followed by a written test which has questions mainly based on the course, so I would recommend not leaving to much time between the two, so information is still fresh in mind.
All passed! Notified 3iC & they set me straight with all which had to be supplied to the CAA, two weeks later & i’m A fully fledged pfco drone pilot, able to take full advantage of my drones potential for our business.
3iC are one of those businesses who really care about their customers & nothing is too much trouble... I cannot recommend highly enough & if you get Simon for the flight assessment, you have struck double Gold!

Well, I bit the bullet and invested in a drone to enhance my photography business. I then had to decide on the best option in order to attain the necessary knowledge to gain the CAA Permission for Commercial Use.
Having read the reviews, I opted for the 3iC correspondence course and I'm so glad I did. Study at your own pace - no pressure and the course is split into logical modules with a knowledge check after each and a main test at the end.
Excellent preparation for the actual theory test. I achieved the whole thing comfortably in 3 weeks and the practical and theory test a week or so later.
My tutor Liz answered any queries I had during the course and also advised in the preparation of the necessary documentation for subsequent submission to the CAA.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the 3iC course, which as far as I can tell, is also considerably less expensive than the competition.

I have just completed my PfCO training with 3iC and have passed the theory and practical assessments. I found Liz and the 3iC team to he helpful and accommodating at all times and even a little 'firm' when necessary! Lovely people to deal with and a very effective course, neatly divided into bite size chunks to be taken at your own pace. I booked a residential course with another company at more than 3 times the cost of 3iC. I found the speed and course work difficult to keep up with and failed the theory test.(68%) I saw 3iC advertised and welcomed the "learn at your pace" on line. From 3IC learning program I scored over 90% in the theory.
The practical module with 3iC was easy to follow and the examiner (Simon) did all he could to guide me.
