5 stars reflected in the fact I’ve lost count of how many projects I’ve worked with 1to1 on. Delighted with the service for over 10 years now. Had both herringbone style floor and carpet from them.

I went to this retailer as they had the type of carpeting I was looking for, whilst the service and advice was first class I was not informed that my carpet was made in India and that I would have to wait such a long time for it to arrive in the uk. I ordered the carpet in mid February and was told I had to pay a 50% deposit up front of £3,000.00 which I did , the carpet didn’t arrive into the Uk until the 31st July and was finally fitted the first week of August.What I object to is the company holding my deposit for five months, then when it arrived in the county I had to complete the purchase before seeing the carpet or approving the final fit.I think if I had known the lead time would have taken so long I would have taken my custom else where.However , the fitters were first class and the carpet looks great so it’s a difficult one.I think a five month lead time when you have not been given that information up front and the company having my substantial deposit for all of that time a hard pill to swallow but maybe I’m naive.

We recently bought and had fitted a living room carpet from 1to1 Flooring in Barnet. We were extremely happy with the service provided, from the team in the showroom through to the fitters. Carl (the fitter) and his assistant were very polite and respectful of our property, and we are really happy with the finished result (and have had several complimentary comments from visitors!). The pricing was competitive, and communication was excellent. We would definitely use this company again in the future.

Very disappointed with the poor coordination and back-office mismanagement at 1to1 Flooring. I had agreed on a specific felt underlay for my landing and stairs, but during fitting, a completely different underlay was used without any prior discussion. The fitters were innocent in this—they simply installed what they were given. When I raised the issue, the team first insisted this was the original plan. Now, today, they're giving a different reason, saying they changed it “for levelling the floor.” None of this was communicated to me in advance, and I was never given a choice. This lack of transparency and last-minute decision-making is unprofessional. I expected better for a paid service

1 to 1 flooring in berkhamstead was absolutely incredible and could not reccomend them more ! From start to finish they were amazing at giving on advise on how best to utilise our space , gave us loads of options on price and the installer on the day was so so good . An absolutely fantastic business with amazing customer services - will be using them again for sure

The staff were welcoming, knowledgable and helpful. They kept us informed of progress of order and on the day, the fitters were charming, friendly, tidy and efficient. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and very quick. Highly recommend.

During my purchase of a bespoke rug, Jenny and Sarah were very professional and overall I was very pleased with their service. They helped by showing photos and gave me style tips. I highly recommended using 1 to 1 flooring.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Zero Accountability - Misled In Store & Oversold by 11 Boxes

I went into the store in person as a first-time buyer because I wasn’t confident in my flooring calculations. I brought accurate room measurements and clearly explained that I was unsure about how much I needed. I expected professional guidance instead, I was advised to buy 47 boxes. I only needed 36. Now I’m left with 11 unopened boxes and no way to return them.
When I got in touch, the response was cold and dismissive. No refund, no exchange, no support just blame. They pointed to my original email, twisting a simple quote request into a “confirmed quantity” so they could shift responsibility.
It’s clear this company puts sales first and customer care last. If you make a purchase based on their advice and it goes wrong, they’ll throw you under the bus. This is NOT an honest mistake it’s a pattern of behaviour as others have left similar reviews.
Go elsewhere. This ruthless company has zero accountability, and once they’ve taken your money, they won’t lift a finger to help.

The quality of the flooring and workmanship is excellent, but I’m very disappointed with the overall experience. Despite the company measuring the space and advising on quantities, I was left with 25% more flooring than needed. Their refusal to refund unused materials, citing their terms, felt unfair and contradictory. After extensive hassle, I only received a partial refund. This has left me frustrated, and I would hesitate to recommend their services.

Brilliant experience today with Shane fitting our carpet. He was professional and helpful with some tips about how to maintain the carpet. It was a pleasure to have him in our home. Carpet is good quality too and we’re very happy with the service provided by 1to1 Flooring.

Used this company twice. First time for LVT Armtico flooring in our extension then had them back some months later to use same product in hallway. Professional from the off, with advice & then coming out to measure up. Fitters were great, we had same fitters both time and they did a fantastic job. Have recommended to friends who have used them and also been happy. Can highly recommend this company.

We visited the shop in St Albans to choose a carpet for our stairs and landing. The salesman could not have been more helpful with choosing the carpet and showing us the samples within the shop and also in the sunlight. An estimator visited our home and a quote was provided by e mail the same day. We ordered the carpet last Monday, and today, one week later the carpet was fitted. I was told that my fitter would be Ollie and that he would arrive to get started between 8-10am. Sure enough, at 8:45am he pulled up on the drive. He started the fitting accompanied by a second man and completed the job to a very high standard. They were both very hardworking, courteous and polite and are a credit to your company. We were completely satisfied with the finished result. You really can’t get much better than 1 week from ordering to the carpet actually being fitted. Thank you.

Absolutely love my carpet. The chap who came out to measure up was super helpful and helped me pick the best option for my home within my budget. Fitters Harry and Shane were an absolute pleasure to have in my home, and so helpful, kind and understanding of working around me and my 4 month old. Couldn’t recommend 1to1 flooring, and particularly the fitters more, my house finally feels like a home! Thank you so much

I have recently had my house redecorated in Harpenden. The service from the store was impeccable from start to finish. From assisting in selecting floor samples to fitting. My fitters Jamie and Matt were extremely professional and quick. I love my new flooring!

Great company! Really quick delivery, good prices and exceptionally helpful staff that will actually try and do their best to help rather than messing you around/being unwilling to budge on trivial things.
