Placed an order for a mobile phone online which was listed as being in stock. When no pickup email arrived I contacted Swords, which necessitated several calls as I kept being left on hold, I was told that there would be a ten day delay in delivery which brought me very close to Christmas delivery cut off times. I eventually got in touch with a rep who arrainged to have it sent from another branch and it arrived in a couple of days. This is what should have happened when the delay became evident.

If anyone who bought from Ireland has been hit with customs and VAT as I was I would suggest a complaint to the parent company Kingfisher. I did and received a refund of both a year or so ago. I see that they are still catching people out with their Irish domain address. A real con job.

I've just fitted the A119 Mini to my wife's car and it's an excellent little camera. I say little as it sits unobtrusively on the screen being almost invisible from outside. The quality of the camera is excellent giving sharp and clear images. While the 1.5-inch screen is a little small for viewing clips it is easy to view them on your phone with their excellent app. This is my second Viofo camera as I already have the A129 Pro Duo in my own car for a couple of years. This did develop a fault shortly after purchase but the after sales service was excellent and the phone was tested and replaced without issue.

Great product sent quickly. Unfortunately the order was shipped with Fastway who must be the worst ever courier company. I ran into delivery issues with them yet again with this order. I have sworn never to buy from any company who use them. Unfortunately this slipped through the net.

I rang Fastway on the 27th to enquire about a parcel which was to be delivered between the 26th and the 29th but had not shown on their tracking system. The customer services rep I spoke to told me that the parcel had not yet been collected and had not entered their system and that I should contact the company as they were responsible. The next morning I received a notification that it was to be delivered that day!. It seems that once the parcel is collected by Fastway no tracking is possible, even by the company. What a dreadfully antiquated system they must have. Other more reputable companies can pinpoint the parcel on an almost hourly basis.

And the usual bland generic unhelpful reply.

A great online company to deal with. Like some others I was a little unsure what I would get with a used phone, but it turned out fine which is why I waited before posting this review.

The phone arrived quickly and was in perfect condition as advertised. No problems to date, this is the second phone bought from this company with great savings.

Well the item was delivered on time as always but I don't understand the reluctance to ring a doorbell. I was home all day and the text confirming delivery was the first I heard of the delivery. This is the second time that this has happened.
If Fastway could follow DPD's method of diving a one hour slot for delivery that would be a huge improvement to the service.

I ordered a part for a Skoda, unfortunately it turned out to be for an earlier model but I was really impressed with how easy it was to return it and with how quickly the refund was issued. I would have no hesitation in using them again. Their communication was also excellent.

This is a scam site insofar as they proport to be an Irish site but in fact they are UK based. This cost me extra in VAT and handling charges which almost doubled the cost of a strimmer cable. No reply to questions and would not cancel the order.

Quick update. I found that Kingfisher Inc. were the parent company of Buyspares.ie and emailed Lorna Dunne at kingfisher. I had an apology from Buyspares.ie within an hour and a promise to refund the customs charges. After about a dozen messages and lots of delays they finally refunded the customs charges today. To all who have paid extra I would suggest chasing them through Kingfisher Inc. which seems to motivate them.

Always a great shopping experience. My only gripe is that An Post track and trace does not work. No updates until it arrived at your door.

I normally order my tyres from Pneus or Oponeo but as they did not have what I needed I ordered two motorcycles from TyreLeader. The order was confirmed and one tyre was listed on the DPD site as being collected the next day.

The status of the other tyre did not change for a week when I received an email from TyreLeader stating that DPD had "lost" the order. Which was strange given that it seemed that it had never been collected. I was asked if I wanted a refund or replacement and I requested the latter. In the next email I was informed that it was no longer in stock, which I suspect it never was.

I requested that the tyre which was delivered be returned and the entire order be cancelled but they gave a partial refund which meant that I had to order the tyre from Pneus and pay extra for shipping.

A dreadful company to deal with and their "customer service" useless as they do not seem to read any of the emails sent, or rather seem to ignore them.

Lesson learnt, never again !!.

Excellent company to deal with. Most items in stock and at great prices with quick delivery.
