CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTANT!!!
Great shoes but HORRIBLE customer service!!! They never answer the phone and they almost never respond to emails. This is the first and LAST time I'm buying their products! If you still REALLY want to buy some YRU shoes, I would suggest buying from a TRUSTWORTHY third-party such as Hot Topic. Otherwise, don't bother wasting your time and money...
I ordered 2 pairs of the Monster High boots. I accidently ordered 1 pair in the wrong size so I tried calling them but no answer. I emailed them about it and they got back with me 2 days later saying that they corrected it. I was so grateful for it.
About 2 weeks go buy and the shoes still haven't been shipped out. I email them asking when it's going to be shipped out. I never got a response but the next day the tracking said they were on the way.
I finally get the shoes and I LOVED them! Unfortunately, 1 pair had a faulty zipper that kept getting stuck. Also, they fit a little too big (my fault for hoping I can fit a size 9). I would have exchange for a smaller size but they were sold out. So, I emailed them about returning them and they quickly and happily accepted my request. After paying $25 out of my pocket to ship them back, I never got my refund....
I spent nearly 2 weeks emailing them about it and they just ghosted me. I tried calling their phone number many times but every single time I would get an answering machine saying to call back between their business hours of 10 am - 3pm PST. No matter what time I called, I still got NO ANSWER.
Thankfully, I paid with Affirm and was able to open a dispute. It took literally 2 months for that dispute to settle but I finally got my money back. The pitiful thing about it is that I won the dispute by default since Affirm never got a response from YRUshoes. Long story short, terrible business.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Clara, j'ai passé ma commande le 9 août. Après lecture de l'avis sur truspilot j'ai commandé en totale connaissances de cause, la grosse communauté instagram m'a rassuré.
Je vis en France, et c'est un site américain donc je me doutais que les frais de livraison serait élevé (40€ du coup rien de choquant pour moi) et un haut délais de livraison/ traitement. (7 à 10j pour l'international), et avec la pandémie de la variole du singe une prévention de 3j de retard (environ maximum 13j avant une expédition, je l'ai compris comme ça sur le site).
L'ayant commandé le 9 j'espérais quand même voir une expédition au plus tard le 20.
L'étiquette à été créé à DHL le 15.
Je ne sais pas si il y a une mauvaise traduction du site et du coup le traitement est plutôt d'environ 3 à 5j et à partir de se moment là il faut compte maximum 13j avant l'envoi.
Je trouve cela extrêmement long, même pour un colis à l'international.
Le service client via le site, est extrêmement lent voir inexistant.
J'ai envoyé 2 mails avec 4j de séparation entre ces 2 mails, seule le Comte instagram m'a répondu et m'a dit qu'il allait transmettre m'a demandé au service client.
(Après ils sont internationaux et je suis impatiente)

Mon colis est enfin en cours de dédouanement, donc j'avais peut être raison c'est 13~15j à partir de l'envoie avec la pandémie.
Le colis devrait arrivé le 28 août. Quasiment 20jours pour recevoir un colis, allez on va dire que c'est parce que c'est l'international.

J'ai reçu ma commande, les chaussures sont incroyable identique au modèle.
Mais oui gros bémol sur l'envoi.

Absolute nightmare. This company is a complete and utter scam. I felt safe ordering from them because I have followed them for years and have seen them collab with big companies like Mattel and Sanrio. BIG mistake. HUGE.
On April 14 via their Instagram site I ordered a pair of the Mecha Denim pants, which I had to save up for. I was so excited. They never shipped. It's June now.
At first I thought it could be Instagram's fault. I reached out to YRU via email on May 1 to ask when I could expect the pants to ship. They said they would ship by the end of the week. They didn't. I waited a week and sent a request for fulfillment on Instagram. Nothing. I emailed them again. Nothing again. I ended up emailing them a total of 3 times, no response to any of them. One was in response to their previous email saying they would ship in May. I messaged them on Instagram, same thing.
I called them on June 3. Their voice-mail is an AI voice that says to stay on the line for assistance. I tried 3 times and every time it said no one was available to take my call (I made sure it was within their business hours) and to leave my name, number, and email. I did and requested a call back within the week. No call. So I called back today twice and the same thing happened.
Immediately afterwards, I saw an ad for their new collab with Sanrio. Hoping to avoid someone else having the same experience, I left a comment saying all of the above. YRU immediately deleted my comment and BLOCKED ME. No wonder you never see negative reviews of them on social media.
While investigating I also discovered several of their 'new styles' are just fast fashion ripoffs of brands like GCDS. My guess is that they're just a glorified dropshipper. Absolute garbage company run by garbage people. Don't waste your time or money on them.
Edit: Hmm according to Trustpilot this company used to have a different url too. Sus at best.

I bought 4 pairs of shoes during a sale, a MONTH later, nothing has shipped and, after I’ve emailed them about this, they tell me that 2 out of 4 shoes are actually out of stock. Why sell something you don’t have? Keep better track of your inventory. On top of that, they refund the price of the shoes, but not the tax nor the additional shipping fees. Shipping for shoes is EXPENSIVE and they got to ship for HALF THE WEIGHT, yet refused to refund me the difference. On top of that, I emailed them MULTIPLE TIMES about them not refunding the correct amount, want to know what they said? NOTHING. No response at all!! So I go to Affirm, the payment company that I used, and they’re like “well it’s just how it is, you have to pay the extra shipping”. Their shoes aren’t cool enough for this headache, there are other brands than YRU, particularly ones that respect and respond to their customers.
I’m so angry with them. They have absolutely horrid customer experiences.
Not Durable
The shoes are visually pleasing. Ive worn YRU shoes for years. It is the same issue for everyone when the heel or toe of the shoe severely begins to lift. There’s no telling when the shoes will fall off mid journey outside. Maybe it’s the weight of the platform shoes. In that case, start stitching around the rims of the shoe to prevent lifting because the glue does not last.
