Yoyaku Record Store Anmeldelser 

This review is for the Yoyaku's online store. Yoyaku's curation and selection of electronic music is superb. I've enjoyed buying from there for close to one year. However, their customer service is not good. A month ago, one of their new records had a defect. The agent asked me to prove it with a video. I did. Then the agent said the replacement copy would automically be included in a new order for free. I placed a new order but the replacement record was missing in my order! I emailed them immediately but they did not reply. I have tried following up with them twice after that, and they ignore my emails. Very unprofessional! Yoyaku, please make this right or I will give my business to your German competitors (deejay.de and decks.de).

Traveling from the US, I found this gem of a record shop in Paris. It resembled the experience I had in 1992 shopping for records at VinylMania in NYC. The salesperson in the shop was super helpful. There are plenty of listening stations and both new and second hand stock of many of the electronic music genres. I found some gems on the lower level and also was able to purchase the 10h anniversary brass turntable weights. Follow these directions once at the address and you won’t be disappointed.

Find the green metal door, on the right there’s a black doorbell panel with white lettering. Press that, push the door…they’ll unlock it. Walk towards the third court yard. It’s behind the white metal gate, where you first enter a gallery (and a small cafe).

J'ai commandé deux disques dans ce magasin mais je n'en ai reçu qu'un. Je n'ai eu aucun message de leur part alors que j'avais donné mon numéro de téléphone et mon adresse mail. Sur la facture envoyée avec le disque, le disque manquant est rayé sans aucun message d'explication. Pas de remboursement sur mon compte en banque pour l'instant.
Il a fallu que ce soit moi qui leur téléphone. Leur excuse (un bug informatique) ne justifie pas l'absence d'information et de remboursement (il m'ont promis de me rembourser).
Bien sûr, si j'avais su que le disque n'était en réalité pas disponible, j'aurais demandé l'annulation de la commande pour ne pas payer les frais de port pour un seul disque.
Je suis très déçu de laisser un tel commentaire sur ce magasin. Je croyais avoir trouvé une bonne alternative aux poids lourds du secteur.

Très mauvaise expérience lors de ma dernière commande de disques vinyles chez Yoyaku. J'ai reçu le colis et dedans un disque ne correspondait pas du tout ? Je les contacte pour leur dire qu'il y a une erreur de commande et qu'il faut qu'il me renvoie le disque manquant en question av la ref "Maks Central015". Leur réponse a été de m'envoyer un bon de réduction sur une prochaine commande et de me dire qu'il faut que je recommande pour avoir mon disque manquant ???
Entre temps, je regarde sur leur site et je vois qu'il n'est plus en stock (disponible) alors qu'il est dans mon bon de commande ?
Je tiens à signaler que ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai des soucis avec eux, lors de ma précédente commande aussi, il y a eu des soucis lorsque j'étais en train de finaliser ma commande, 2 disques ont disparu (Global The Model et Cod3QR 26) chercher l'erreur ?
Le pire, c'est qu'il nie en bloque et qu'il me dise qu'ils ont bien envoyé le bon article. Je suis très dessus et je ne commanderai plus.

Although it was an extremely busy day in the shop (in one corner a promo for a new vinyl record was being filmed, while the rest of the team were working on the interior setup), they still found time, one by one, to greet me and ask if I was looking for anything in particular. After our conversation, I even received a vinyl record as a gift.

If you happen to be in Paris and you love music, you absolutely have to visit this shop. The atmosphere is incredible and the sound system is truly something special.

For some reason, I received my order twice and had to pay for it twice. I contacted Yoyaku several times by email to explain that something had gone wrong, but I never received a response. This is extremely frustrating and should have been avoided. Communication with Yoyaku is practically nonexistent and extremely poor. This is no way to treat customers, especially when it's clear that a mistake must have been made. This was the last time I will ever order from Yoyaku.

best place in Paris. Amazing crew, selection and soundsystem

Une sélection pointu qui n'est égalé que par l'aimabilité et l'expertise du staff. Un rendez-vous hebdomadaire et une pépite trop peu célébré dans cette ville. Je ne peux pas assez recommandé, un passage obligé pour les riverains et les visiteurs !

One of a kind record store cause it is enshrouded into Chapelle XIV which showcases impressive exhibitions next to their finest selection of electronic music. Crate digging + art licking = yes my lord 🫦

Oh and did I mention their In-Store Sessions ?

I have only one word to describe the work of this distributor and it is SHAME!!!
I have blocked my album from sale due to disagreements between me and the producer as the album is not official as there are no contracts of any kind.
I get an email from them telling me that the producer has decided in agreement with the distributor to remove the release, in reality I am the only one who has the power to do so.
After a few weeks the release is back on sale.
No respect!
