I purchased an automatic hair curler a few years ago but only used it a handful of times. The charging port came detached inside. Very poorly made. Will not be buying from them again.

Gift for Xmas, used once, pleased with results, then took on holiday in my hand luggage. Went through 3 countries no issue, but then the item was confiscated as the battery could not be detached. If fact during one flight the product did turn on, as there was not a hard outer case to protect it. This could have caused an aircraft fire. I did contact the company for a replacement, as they had not advised this could be an issue, they offered me 20% off. Hence I did not purchase, go to another site and buy a corded option. Suggest this is a design fault, battery not being detachable, suggest a hard outer case to store to stop fire risk of turning on, even for any storage not just travel. Not a satisfied customer

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Customer service is completely unresponsive — I’ve sent three follow-up emails and received no reply after the first one. The product stopped working after just six months. They sent me a replacement, which also failed after exactly six months, in the same way: it charges, but doesn’t spin left or right at all.

It’s clearly built to fail after a short period, likely due to cheap manufacturing. After my initial complaint, they offered me just 10% off a new one — and then ignored every message I sent afterward. Extremely disappointing product and even worse customer service.

I have had three of these and they have all failed at the charger input port. My current one I have had a while and been super careful with how I plug in the charger but despite this, it has just broken again. Disappointing because it makes great curls. Looked at the reviews hoping they might have improved the quality but seems not

This product doesn’t work and not fit for purpose imo. It takes all day to charge and can’t be used if it’s not fully charged. Not great if you are half way through. It lasts no more than 10 minutes so useless if you have a lot of hair. Customer service keep replying saying I’m not using correct charger and plug 😡

I LOVED my original Wylera, it was so quick and easy to use, my curls lasted for days and I got so many compliments on my hair. It died after 5 years of use so I decided to purchase the new model. The new model is terrible in comparison, so difficult and fiddly to use and my hair always gets tangled in it. I’ve given up trying to use it, such a shame they changed it as the original design was so much better.

I’m lost my charger when I redecorated my bedroom. Customer services (Riz, thank you!) we’re brilliant in helping me to find the right charger. Nothing was too much for her.

Scam Been 10 days since ordered. Not arrived. No contact from the company and the tracking is in China still.

I’ve resigned myself to not getting the package and being massively overcharged

Don't buy a Dreamwave. Mine never worked at all and despite many attempts to contact them and return the product they would not provide an address to return it.

Brought my wylera a good few years back,,,, but its only been used now and then, it heats up great ,, and charges great ,,but when you begin to do your hair the barrel stops and it switches it self off, I will be another ,,, but it wont be wylera,, whilst searching the internet ,,there are reports that this brand does malfunction,, normally just after warranty expires

Absolutely love my hair curler! It's easy to use even, if you can't use both arms/hands very well. It's quick to charge, lasts for ages and delivers curlers that hold in my hair all day. I have very tick hair and my daughter has gone but it works for both types. I am recommending it to everyone as for once, I can curl my whole head and look amazing! Definitely worth the buy and avoid imitations... This is worth every penny.

Awful. Don't waste your money.
Would take a full day to fully charge and then only keep charge for 15 minutes. When I contacted wylera they tried to tell me it was the plug I was using to charge it, so I changed chargers/plugs 3 times and it didn't matter what I used. Then the most recent time I used it the barrell has stopped spinning completely. Contacted wylera and because it's been 12 months since I purchased it they won't replace it. Don't waste your money.

Bought their hair curler and loved it. I have many, many curlers and I used this one probably 20 times, mainly cos I kept losing their charger. I went to charge it and it won't charge now, which obviously renders it useless. I've bought new Cchargers but it makes no difference. As I paid around £120 for a branded one it's a bit annoying, to say the least, that it's dead. Better off buying a cheapo one!

In love with my new Dreamwave! It is so easy to use once you get the hang of it, and I really enjoy the portability of it. I've received so many compliments on my curls, which have been lasting for days even in FN QLD humidity! Received well within 48 hours of purchase - can't fault 🥰

Easy to use, but broke after maybe 5 curling sessions. As I curl once in a while they didn’t offer replacement anymore. As well charging process is horrible. Curling for 10 minutes and battery dies. Then charging takes hours. So if it died in the middle of the process you’re screwed. Go wash your hair and go without styling. Basically idea is great but it’s cheap low wuality stuff.

I'm writing this review as I was pleasantly surprised to receive a new curler after my Dreamwave Compact stopped working a month before the 12 month warranty expired.

After emailing customer services when my curler charged for several hours but wouldnt turn on, I read all the negative reviews on here and assumed I'd get nowhere. However I received a reply 2 weeks later from customer services advisor Riz Sistaco apologising for the delay in responding due to black Friday sales and asking for a video and photos showing mu faulty curler. I sent these as requested and less than a week later received an email telling me they agreed the unit was faulty and would send me a new one. This duly arrived 3 days later so I feel its only fair they should be credited with upholding their 12 month warranty! I don't feel the curler is particularly robust and imagine the same thing may happen again, hence only 3 stars but my experience with the company has been a positive one.

This product (cordless hair curler) is a waste of money. It does not work & is a very cheap looking product.
Misleading marketing.

Needed to return an unopened order. Absolutely zero response from customer service. Phone number doesn't work. Many emails with out anything but an automated response. Seriously, be very careful when dealing with this company, be warned.

The Wylera dreamwave worked really well first attempt. But It wouldn't charge and kept cutting out if I tried to use whilst plugged in. Waste of money tbh

I simply don't like the curler. Waste of money for short hair styles. Curls don't hold. You should be able to return regardless of whether package is opened or not. After all you don't know until product is opened.Other sellers allow returns. Boots, John Lewis, GHD etc etc
