They are a scammer
They are a scammer. They have scammed people with different lies. Write mails from different mails and inform clients to deliver the products in the given time frame. But in reality they are not delivering anything. They are cheats. They have cheated so many people. Don't waste a single hard earned money on this as its a big scam. You will never receive the product. I have paid and fooled by these scammers. Forget about the product you wont get refund. Dont go ahead with this.

Manque de sérieux et non respect du client.
Ils (Slidenjoy/Portabl) n'ont pas fabriqué les écrans 17 pouces qu'ils ont fait payer d'avance et maintenant, le remboursement se fait attendre. Le support ( Archi,Terence,Joyce....1 seule et même personne ?) nous fait attendre en mettant en avant leurs difficultés mais ils oublient leur devoir envers leurs backers et clients. Le remboursement viendra t'il un jour ????? Cela suffit.

Nous nous sommes faits avoir parce qu'à un moment, ils étaient référencés sur Amazon et du coup nous avons cru que c'était des gens sérieux. On est passé directement par leur site et plus rien, sauf évidemment notre argent qui a disparu.
Ce sont des fieffés menteurs, nous n'avons toujours rien 2 ans après et strictement aucune nouvelle.

i was one of the original kickstarter…
i was one of the original kickstarter backers back in july 2015.... guess what still no product, i have had 4 new laptops since pledging, so unsure if the thing if it ever turns up would even fit the new macbook... every 6 months or so i get in touch to find out where this vapourware product might be and i get the same answer its coming, its coming, surly as one of the original 1600 backers of this project i should have received one of these builds by now, so what they are saying is they've not managed to build 1600 units in the last 7 years, i strongly recommend not purchasing as you will probably never receive the goods... and when asking for refund all i get is someone will get back to you, all i really want is my money back as i feel i'm never going to see product and the name change just adds weight to the fact they are running from something... shame it was a great ideas, especially for someone like myself who works on the road, a 3 screen edit facility in my backpack would be amazing.... sadly this has also soured my view of backing tech companies on kickstarter as i always felt it was a great way to help great ideas off the ground... maybe there was a reason they couldn't get backing away from the crowd....

J'ai fini de payer 100% du produit fin 2019, nous sommes en mai 2022 et je viens d'échanger sur leur tchat : ils me demandent de patienter (encore et toujours) quelques mois. Does anyone know the legal position on situations like this? What can be done to force the refund?
I like many of you have lost any faith in the companies ability to manufacture, communicate and fulfill any order. 4 years of updates coming “soon”, only tonight reading these reviews after another ignored email discovered the company had a different name (You literally have everyone’s email address - just send a monthly mass email communicating the latest step forwards and I don’t know, the fact you’re changing the name of the company that owns 1,000 of peoples order/deposits cash)
How can we process this quicker.

I’m at a loss for words with this…
I’m at a loss for words with this company. I have contacted them numerous times and they always seem to get back to me. I want to he mad at them but the vibe I get is they are working hard to make a badass product but they lack time management and customer service skills. I want to hate them but every time I write a mean e-mail they get back to me explaining tue situation and I get hope.
My issue is far worse then others I accidentally purchased 2 of the carbon fiber models when I only wanted one. so I paid an extra thousand dollars on top of the initial thousand for a second product that I’ve never received. I have asked for a refund for The second product for I dont know how long, I even tried to bargain with then saying if they just sent me the product soon I would take both of them happily. But of course I have received nothing. I went to their new page. It says my orders are paid for in full but my orders are “unfullfilled” I’ve written them and heard nothing back.. Hopefully I hear something from this

AVOID Slidenjoy, Portable and their future spawn
Order placed 4/31/21 (under Slidenjoy back then); Cyril from support confirmed "I have forwarded your data to the refund department who have placed you on the refund list." on 8/31/2021. Chatted 05/05/2022 with Archie (under Portabl; Slidenjoy webpage doesn't exist any longer), received EXACTLY the same wording. Further, my order was still active and not tagged for cancellation. Couldn't receive a tangible proof my order was cancelled or marked for cancellation+refund; billing contact is denied to customers. All I received was an email of chat transcript.
DEFINITELY SCAM.
AVOID SLIDENJOY, PORTABL, and all their future spawn.

Pré-commande en 2015, fin de paiement en 2019 et depuis... rien !
Ah si, une SEULE réponse début août 2021 me disant "ouais on sait, désolé, on a souffert de retards lié à des problèmes de R&D, la pandémie, à la pénurie de composants électroniques, au panaris de Tata Gertrude, etc., mais promis tout est réglé, les commandes seront livrées fin d'année 2021 / début 2022 sans faute".
Re-silence radio depuis, aucune information, pas même celui du changement de nom et de site internet (portabl).
Et tant qu'à faire compte client slidenjoy supprimé et non transféré sur portabl.com.
Honteux, et je suis encore extrêmement généreux dans mes propos.

They are now on Portabl.com. I paid deposit in May 2016 and full amount October 2019 and still nothing. I wasn't even notified they changed the name - no communication. They refuse to send the device or refund. They are probably just hoping I will forget about the £500.

Payé depuis bien longtemps et toujours rien reçu :
Commandé avec acompte le 2/8/2017 et payé complètement en décembre 2019 car les livraisons devaient se faire début 2020....
A chaque fois, je les contacte et le délai et prolongé de 3mois, 6mois, ....
Nous sommes en 2022 et toujours rien. J'ai envoyé un email le 13/02/2022 pour demander l'évolution et toujours pas de réponse. Via leur formulaire en ligne, j'ai demandé le remboursement. Espérons qu'ils me répondent.
Prochaine étape. Test-Achat.
