Your Move Canterbury are absolutely incompetent. Had nothing but issues with emails not sending as a result of the shoddy system almost losing us our house last year, withholding our deposit for longer than they should, and just plain RUDE to students. Emily in particular decided to blame US for the Your Move email system (which assumingly emails through a terrible system, then directing it out to an email server??) and almost lost us our home when all of us were ready to pay the deposit and move in. I absolutely would NOT recommend this sham of a company, especially if you're a student or a group. They are disorganised and unprofessional.

Stephen came into our lives At a point, we were incredibly despondent having had a really difficult experience with another Estate agent company. We were damaged goods and should have been marked handle with care. From our first conversation, Stephen showed up. The first incredible difference for us was he was reachable- No 30 min holds or automated service or leave a message and will call you back: He would answer the phone or if he was an appointment, he would call you back at the very moment he became available. This was consistent and a world of difference from our previous experience. Stephen listened to our tale of woe and was both empathetic and constructive. Anything he didn’t know- He would find out and he did call us back back, unlike other companies. He helped us to problem solve going and beyond. He was in it all with us. He helped us to find and facilitate access for work to bring the house to standard. And perhaps the biggest miracle he made the sale before the photos were even taken! We didn’t have to go through the stress of viewings because he knew there Was someone looking for exactly what we had. Even with the surprise Hurdles thrown in by solicitors Stephen took the time to check and update wherever possible. Now Stephen will say ‘Oh I didn’t really do much.’ But he did, he saved our sanity. He made us feel supported not completely alone. And crucially where another company had basically no interest in making the sale -to the point we were ready to give up- Stephen helped us rally and fix the problems making my mum money when the other company wanted her to take an 80k loss. If you are looking to sell in Belper - Do it with Stephen. Anyone else is just not good enough- You deserve the best!

Despite our sale being hampered by slow and frustrating solicitors, the team at Your Move Broadstairs were fantastic from start to finish. Callum was relentlessly cheerful, professional and supportive throughout the entire process. He kept my sister and me regularly updated, chased progress when needed, and acted as an excellent liaison with the legal teams, taking much of the stress away from us.

Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and even when things became frustrating, Callum remained positive, approachable and reassuring. His communication was outstanding, and we always felt that he genuinely cared about getting the sale over the line.

Finding a long-term rental property in the Inverness area was extremely difficult, and we spent around 6 months searching. Having viewed and applied for a place recently, I thought I'd check to see if it had been taken.
Sadly, it now shows 'Let Agreed' next to the details, so one of the other prospective tenants must have been successful, not me.
What gets my back up is that the lettings person who showed me round etc., hadn't the politeness to let me know that I failed to get the place. I now know that he's 'out of the office', a.k.a. on holiday until next week, but it would have been nice for someone else in the same office, to inform me that the property had been taken.
Manners don't cost much.

I have asked 3 different branches to have me details removed from their systems, Burton staff were polite enough to reply and said my details had been archived.
I WON'T deal with the branch at Kirkby-in-Ashfield again!

Although my wife and myself were not direct clients of Your Move (Sheerness branch) Avril and Fiona went out of there way to support us through a very long and difficult house purchase. If not for them we feel that we would have just given up and would have pulled out of the purchase. We cannot praise them highly enough.

Your Move, Darlington (Lettings)
The process of moving in was mostly okay, apart from being given the wrong information about the electric. Then when I was sent a picture of the metre, it was my neighbours, so I paid about £40 of his electric before realising it was the wrong metre I was putting money on due to my electric cutting out. I never got that money back.

The main issue however has been the end of lease process. I ended my lease early but had paid the full final months' rent up to 12th June. A new tenant moved in on 26th May and I was told I'd get that 2 weeks rent back. Poor communication, lack of explanation and me constantly chasing, and I still haven't had it paid back, as of 10th July. The landlord has had 2 people's money and I think that is so wrong. Feeling very fed up and stressed due to not knowing when it will be paid.

Outstanding. We are a business and we have just purchased two houses in Darlington, Allyson Falaise and team at Your Move Darlington worked with us very step of the way and we found them to be highly competent, always happy and keen to help and support, regular communication where needed and tremendous market knowledge for their area, we would recommend them to anyone buying or selling homes.

I have found all the staff that I have dealt with very efficient and helpful. As I am not very efficient at technology the staff have assisted me in processing the necessary paperwork for the sale of my property. I have received up to date information on the status of the sale regularly and any enquiries are dealt with promptly.

Harry and his team were very helpful from the start and were very clear with pricing, advice etc so I felt very well supported. I would recommend for sure and would happily use again.

After a bad experience with an agent who promised much but delivered little, I switched to Your Move, Whitton office. Branch manager, Alan Woods, was highly professional and gave honest and realistic advice re marketing of the property in a very challenging market. He, Kasia and Anish worked really hard contacting potential buyers. Their efforts secured multiple viewings resulting in six competing offers, which went to sealed bids. Following acceptance of an offer, Alan and Kasia kept me up to date with how the sale was progressing. The sale was completed in just under 2 months, which was beyond my expectation. I would highly recommend Alan and the team at Your Move Whitton branch.
