Great if you get the right salesman
I have purchased several vehicles from Yeomans Eastbourne and had intended to change my previous RAV4 quite a few months ago. Another salesperson took my details and had promised to let me know when a suitable vehicle became available. I assumed no vehicles had come into stock because I heard nothing, so started looking elsewhere.
In due course I visited the Eastbourne branch, not because the other salesman had contacted me, but because my son had found a RAV4 at the Eastbourne branch advertised in a motor sales publication.
My disillusion with Yeomans evaporated when Sam Davis showed me available vehicles and in particular a white RAV4, providing a very helpful explanation of the differences between the one I then drove and the one available to buy.
My normal instinct is to ‘sleep on’ any decision about car purchase but in this case I decided to buy the car at this first visit. Sam was very helpful with the procedural and administrative side of switching cars, making the process less difficult than I expected.
I do like the Toyota Rav4 but my positive view of Yeomans, Eastbourne is largely due to Sam Davis, his knowledge of the car and the help he provided.
He is certainly a credit to the team.

Picked up our new hybrid today
Picked up our new hybrid today, Nigel was the perfect mix of professional and friendly, spending time to explain all the differences from the cars we traded in. More than 20 cars now from Yeoman's Torquay, it's great to find a dealership you can trust, who always help with any issues, give you a fair price for your old cars and are always on the end of the phone if you need them. Can't recommend them highly enough, trustworthy, honest and they respect returning customers, always treating us like old friends. Brooke was a salesman when we first new him, now the manager and he is running a wonderful dealership.

Beware of over charging
My daughter took her Juke to Yeomans Aldershot because of a problem with the transmission. They told her she would have to wait 2 weeks before they could look at he car and merely to inspect the vehicle would cost £160. Upon inspection Yeomans told her she needed a new gearbox and they would charge her £8500 to replace the gearbox. Scandalous!

We are obviously disappointed that you feel a 2 Star review is appropriate for our business, as we strive to give every customer a 5 Star service.
To clarify events, your daughter's car was not sold to her by Yeomans, and it has never been to Yeomans before for a service or repair of any sort.
It was recovered to our workshop with a gearbox fault, which our Nissan trained technicians ascertained was as a result of the oil cooler pipes having corroded so badly that all of the oil had leaked out, resulting in a catastrophic failure of the entire gearbox. Maintenance of these pipes is a routine service item, and it is therefore clear that either your daughter has not had the car serviced for a very long while, or that wherever she last took the car for a service failed to note that the oil cooler pipes were corroded. Either way, basic routine servicing would have prevented the gearbox from failing.
As an Authorised Nissan Dealership we can only supply and fit genuine new Nissan parts, and the cost of a new gearbox from Nissan is £6,862 without all of the other parts required to complete the replacement, plus labour and oil.
In summary, the gearbox has failed because it has not been maintained for an extended period, and the cost of replacement is dictated by the price of parts from Nissan GB not Yeomans.
In light of this update maybe you would consider removing your rather unfair 1 Star rating, and instead applying it to the garage that last serviced your daughters car - or your daughter herself if she has simply failed to carry out any routine maintenance for a prolonged period!

Did they lie to me just so I would take the faulty vehicle?
I took delivery of a faulty vehicle back in January. It took a few month to get the issues resolved via my local VW garage in Glasgow. VW were excellent and i cannot fault them. This brand new vehicle was dropped at my house with the AA waiting to diagnose multiple faults. Not really how new vehicle day should go for any customer. Initially it looked like I was going to have to pay £1453.67 for the repairs on the vehicle. As it was delivered WITH the faults obviously i refused before common sense was seen.
Yeomans told me to go for a "fancy dinner" and bill them for it due to all the hassle. I was making payments for this vehicle through January, February and into March until it was 100% sorted and only then did I get it back. They appreciated me taking the faulty vehicle on delivery date(many others would have declined and sent it back) as logistically getting the faulty vehicle all the way back to Sussex from Glasgow would have been costly and inconvenient for Yeomans.
They never did pay for that meal despite being sent the receipt and chased up. CHLOE MARSH was the agent who made the offer and she has ignored my email on the subject since.
I feel I have given them long enough before leaving an honest review. Piss poor service. Forced to give 1 out of 5... More like zero.

Unfortunately, the vehicle experienced a breakdown on the day of delivery. As soon as we were made aware, we arranged recovery to a local service centre and worked with VWFS to ensure your hire car costs were fully covered. We also agreed to reimburse a meal cost as a goodwill gesture and requested a receipt to process the payment.
Regrettably, due to an internal oversight and a lack of further communication the receipt was not followed up and the reimbursement was not processed. We acknowledge this was our responsibility and sincerely apologise for the delay and frustration caused.
This was a broker sale and our contact with you was limited to resolving the issue on the day. Nonetheless, we take full accountability for not following up. The staff member involved has been spoken to, and she extends her sincerest apologies for the oversight.
Please resend the meal receipt at your earliest convenience and we will arrange immediate payment. Again, we are very sorry for the experience you’ve had and appreciate your patience.
Terrific team at Nissan Plymouth
Bought a used Nissan Qashqai from Yeomans in Plymouth. The salesman, Luke Mallett, was very helpful and patient. He talked us through the many options available to us and made the whole experience a good one!! We would thoroughly recommend him to see you through your purchase.

Visited Honda Eastbourne today to enquire about a used Honda. Very welcoming on arrival by a trainee lady and Adam. All questions answered perfectly - very impressed. Dropped 1 star because parking is very poor. I would like to see a designated clearly signposted customer parking area thus avoiding the search for a space somewhere between the staff cars, used cars and those waiting for servicing.

What was initially a nightmare with the DS Airbags situation.. I started to lose faith in the Citroen Concept however all was put right & what an amazing team are in Yeomans of Plymouth !!! Everyone was first class but a special mention must go to ‘ Ronnie ‘ who made the process easier & with such incredible customer service who is an asset to the Yeomans establishment. Top class Honda dealership
Having spent too much time dealing with dealers who are unhelpful and disinterested it was a pleasure to find Yeoman's on the road between Chichester and Bognor. What nice helpful friendly people to deal with. Their sales person Russell Thorne was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and knew everything about their products. He answered all my questions, offered a test drive but was never never too pushy. As a result I have purchased a brilliant HRV from them and they gave me a good price for my BMW in part exchange.
