Fantastic customer service!
The member of staff who dealt with us was very knowledgeable and friendly and explained everything clearly. He couldn’t have been more helpful. Other staff members were also courteous and greeted us with a smile. This was our first experience with this building society. We would recommend the Norwich branch.

Just had a lovely call from my local branch welcoming me to YBS. What a refreshing change from the diabolical service from my own bank and the faceless interactions with other banks and financial institutions I've had this week. In an era where the likes of Lloyds think they're a fintech and are clearly operating technology first, customers second in pursuit of profit over real relationships, YBS have got this absolutely 100% perfect...Good technology supporting outstanding customer service. Great products. Easy to use app. Phones answered by humans pretty much straight away... not the 30minute wait like at Lloyds. So, so impressed. Well done YBS! You've nailed it.

I called into the Haywards Heath branch…
I called into the Haywards Heath branch by chance and ask if they knew where Halifax building society was, the gentleman apologised that they have closed but I could go to Lloyds bank and they should be able to help.
I then enquired about your Isa rates, which yours are far better than Halifax so I asked if I could open an account the whole process was easy and the lady who looked after me was extremely helpful. My isa is now performing much better, thank you.

The app is awful
The app is awful. Many actions result in some kind of error message and sometimes it is completely down.
I will be moving elsewhere soon purely because of the app. They shoud do more user testing of the basic functions.
