Yandle & Sons Ltd Anmeldelser

It’s great for tools and timber. The upgrade is still ongoing and is looking good. One niggle I am disabled and the toilets are not very friendly for disabled people. Believe it or not there are a lot of us around. Also the ladies is adjoining the gents and I’m afraid the whiff from them was not good. If you are making the place larger then please look at the toilets too.

This isn't company fault. Record power introduced versalock system to save changing jaws on chuck and promised to add more jaws, they did. But they only fit to new base jaws. If they introduce new jaws with new base jaws each time that will be good oh wait we have that already with normal chuck and jaws.
They should specify new jaws don't fit old system.

Always a brilliant location for a visit, some incredible timber available not to mention tools, woodworking machinery and equipment. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good delivery service for items purchased on line.

Very helpful staff, a great woodworkers' showroom and an unequalled selection of planks and bowl blanks; not to mention that the café will now be my place of choice on the A303. Why stop at Cartgate ever again?

Left a request for some figured Tigerwood and was quickly provided with excellent specimens thanks for time in selecting them

Ordering online was a breeze. I had some queries which were promptly answered on an email. My order was delivered complete at the stated timeslot. Excellent customer services. Well done and thank you team Yandles.

We attended the resin demonstration and workshop. Richard from Record Power was incredibly helpful and I enjoyed making a pen on the lathe .
It was an enjoyable ghost moment !
I look forward to more demonstrations.

Excellent service as usual. The website was easy to use, the postage was reasonable and the product was delivered quickly.

Bought a Flash scroll saw from Yandle to replace an ailing one and am delighted with it. It is almost vibration free, very quiet, has an excellent quick blade release system, and is, overall, better than any previous saw I have owned. It is, as Yandle claim, a step up from all entry level models, but is still at an affordable price. I would add that there was a slight problem when I took delivery of the saw, which Yandle sorted out promptly, courteously and efficiently. All told, my experience with Yandle has been very positive.

Following the purchase of two similar looking products over the past 4 years from an alternative supplier, I discovered the Record dust extraction unit from Yandle. A rather helpful insight from AI (always treated with care) made reference to the 5 year warranty by a British organisation who have the reputation of demonstrating a customer focused service. It also suggested that should a fault occur, a replacement part can be provided.
Upon receipt of the unit I noted that whilst the surrounding box is the same as my previous defunct unit, the parts that are most likely to go wrong are modular by way of removable units, opposed to sealed components as per the previous unit. For me this was a big plus, especially as the Record unit is also cheaper than my previous item.
The performance is impressive within my relatively small workshop with a three speed motor making impressive removal of dust. The remote control also works well with greater ease of use than my previous experience. Look forward to using this unit in anger.

Order arrived very quickly. Slight problem as one of the items that arrived was incorrect. (Wrong goods put in the picking bin as in a white sack I could understand how it was missed) Rang and they could not be more apologetic, I sent a photo of what had arrived and they rang straight back explaining what had happened and dispatched the correct good for next day delivery. Could not fault the great customer service. Thanks for sorting so quickly. Mixed turning blanks and a Purpleheart turning blank lovely quality on all.

I have ordered wood turning blanks from Yandles on a number of occasions and have always been impressed with the stock of blanks and the speed of delivery. I had the opportunity to visit Yandles on Saturday 29th August, mainly to take a look at the stock of woodturning lathes ahead of the woodturning course that I had previously booked. I was lucky to encounter Tony in the timber store. He is an absolute mine of information about the various types of wood and the wood working tools and machinery available. I was interested in tool sharpening equipment and Tony gave a great demo on one particular piece of kit. He took me through the various aspects and encouraged me to have a go. What is particularly noteworthy is that Tony fully involved my wife, She and I really appreciated it. This was a great visit thanks to Tony's knowledge and enthusiasm.

Nice clear website for a start. The dowel jig is robust in design and versatile in the application also competitive in price. I will be using it to make the kitchen units better after some modifications in there construction (those flatpack units are not always ridged when assembled).
Good delivery from a UK business.

Easily found on web search then just as easy to pick the exact size and number required Happy that i got to choose how many slats i wanted - others dictate the number in a ‘pack’
Delivered in good package and in good time.
Immaculate finish great quality, square and straight! - to steal a quote ‘exactly what it said on the tin’.
The icing on the cake to my restoration of a significant garden bench Thanks

The items bought were of good quality and fitted my bandsaw, they were delivered very quickly and the communications i had with the company were very good.

Recommendation was made for done brass tealight holders for some bespoke projects, these are absolutely perfect. Delivery was very quick and the products are great

I appreciated Yandle’s quick response to my oak bench slats order. The slats and fixings were delivered within days of my placing the order. Only one suggestion for improvement: I got a small splinter in my hand when first handling the slats, which are otherwise excellent. I suggest a rub over with fine grade sandpaper before despatch to the customer.

Very fast service and quality products.
