Extremely disappointing experience with Wren Kitchens.
We purchased our kitchen approximately two years ago and have been dealing with ongoing issues ever since.
The main problem has always been inconsistent colours and finishes across the kitchen doors and panels. Wren acknowledged the issue and supplied replacement items, however the replacement process was incomplete and incorrectly handled.
According to the original kitchen plan, approximately 34 doors require replacement, yet only 24 doors and 8 panels were supplied. The kitchen now contains visibly different shades and mismatched finishes.
We repeatedly requested that Wren send a qualified representative to properly inspect the kitchen and assess all required replacement items. This was never arranged.
Instead of resolving the issue properly, we have now been told that we must pay again for replacement doors, despite the kitchen still being within the expected guarantee period.
After almost two years of stress, inconvenience and ongoing complaints, the issue still remains unresolved.
Very disappointing customer service and extremely poor handling of a legitimate consumer rights issue.

We worked with Natalie the kitchen designer who took time in getting to know our family needs and gave us advice on what would work well and the different options available. On the day of arrival the delivery was on time and they carefully transported the units and appliances in to the house. The kitchen fitter Nick was absolutely amazing, couldn't have asked anymore from him. We had no replacements regarding doors, units and panels. But had an issues with the induction hob from AEG. We had several replacements as they were damaged on delivery directly from AEG

This is my first time of purchasing my kitchen from the Wren kitchen and my experience is very positive. All of the staff that attended to me at the Enfield retail Centre were warm and welcoming. Thanks to Michelle and her team. Beyond this,the delivery team were on point and the post-purchase care I received from the customer care department when I needed further help was second to none. Richard attended to me and I cannot be more satisfied. I recommend Wren Kitchen and Bedroom to everybody.

I am still waiting for my dishwasher and oven to be delivered they delivered my kitchen on 16 December 2025 as of today 22 January I still have not received them. Also you can’t speak to anyone and despite putting in a complaint I haven’t had a response from that either. I’m now trying the web chat but no one is answering that either

My wife and I went to Wren to have a simple made to measure, bespoke bedroom fit out. First they send a guy to our proper to measure the whole room. A few days later we go into wren to decide on the plan. The guy we saw had already done a mock up of what he thought we needed. I was okay , initially with his 'provisional' plan,so we paid 10% deposit. We then came home and saw that the measurements were different to what we had asked for. On that same evening I sent an email to Wren saying there is a mistake with the measurements. Wren said they only do two types of sizes for wardrobes. I thought bespoke or made to measure means exactly that , but I was wrong. I had been sending about 14 emails to them to explain what can be done and how we could get our money back since they only do two sizes,I got no reply.... I then had to go to the store and see the manager and ask if he could help, he said he will, and so he started to play around with the drawings but he had to leave to see to a customer and said that he will try and fix it and let me know. Anyway he did not reply for two days and by this time we were fed up and asked for our money back. Which we did get after 5 working days. Customer service 1 point , knowledge 1 point and taking on the phone to staff 1 point. They seem to not care a dam about my enquiry.

Terrible customer service rip off prices they say interest free for 7 years but they will charge you triple the price what its worth so its not really interest free be wary of the sales team and the person coming to do the measurements as I had issues with them as all was wrong now iam trying to get the kitchen fitter to do alot of adjustments and my expense

We are glad to report we very much love of our Wren kitchen and this why I am giving five stars. And I am going to list honestly the good bits and challenging bits from our new kitchen installation, to help new Wren customers but also to try an address some of the negative comments on Trustpilot, which I am not totally convinced are fair.
First big point – any new kitchen installation (especially when it involves reshaping the room like ours did) is going to be challenging and you should expect for things to go wrong (they always do). So please start with some realistic expectations. And you the client need to be working hard to design and imagine your kitchen and also be the best possible manager when working with your builders. But if you put the work in, you can get a great result with Wren kitchens.
The good points
• We are very happy with the quality and value for money of our Wren Kitchen. It was almost half the price of a similar kitchen with a well known upmarket brand. And better than what Howdens offered us.
• We had an excellent designer in Cinar from Wren Enfield Retail Park, EN1 3RW. He gave us lots of options and was very creative, giving us a design that followed our brief and we really liked.
• There are so many different sizes in the Wren kitchen range that if you discover you have some more space, you can quickly slot something in at the deign stage. We found it very flexible and efficient.
• We love our Bosch appliances.
• Impressed with the length of the Wren guarantees. They certainly look like a company that is proud of its name and its products.
• Everything delivered was in perfect condition. And when we had to order something extra, the Wren app was actually very useful.
Things to be aware of
• We employed our own builder to shape the room and install the Wren Kitchen. We gave him enough time to do the best possible job. And obviously we had to pay him accordingly.
• We have no experience of the quality of the Wren installers but one would presume that that they have a very tight schedule to get everything done and bear in mind that something will always go wrong. So, you might want to think about budgeting extra money for your own builder so you get the best possible kitchen installation.
• Our builder, who is an excellent general builder and carpenter, has installed Poggenpohl kitchen in the past and he found that once you get your head around the Wren instructions the units were of a good quality.
• We live in an Edwardian house, and our kitchen walls are not altogether straight. So, the limited depth to the backs of the Wren cupboard made passing electrics and plumbing behind them slightly challenging. But check other manufacturers like Howden, Ikea, Scmidt- do their units give your more depths at the back to work with than Wren? I am not sure they do.
• Even though we thought we planned everything very carefully, things will invariably go wrong. The plug position for an integrated appliance might need to be moved and the electrics chased into the walls to make everything work. You just have to be prepared for it I’m afraid.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My family were unable to proceed with Wren and requested a refund. We were told that we needed to wait 28 days for our refund , which I didn’t understand but accepted. It has now been well past the 28 day mark and I am still chasing my refund. For a company that promotes great customer service they are severely lacking when it comes to refunds and changes in the customers wishes. As of today I still have no refund - and as you know this is for a large amount of money. Poorly handled Wren Kitchens.

If you're thinking of getting a kitchen, check other stores.
My designer was a showroom designer in Enfield. The only thing he got right was the measurements, which having read everyone else's feedback, is a big thing. Wren does also allow you to order replacements for faulty items on their app at no cost, which is also helpful. But this is where the help stops.
From the start, the designer pressurised me into making a deposit, saying that an offer will go unless I made a deposit, encouraged by his Manager. I was firm and checked the design. We spent hours and days going through this, as it was littered with mistakes. Wrong worktops, oven, sink, flooring etc. I had to go through everything several times. Each time he corrected something, he made a mistake on something else. This massively changed the cost of the kitchen.
I went with Wren because they recommend builders. These are third party companies. You should check reviews for them if you choose to use Wren approved builders. But if you can, use your own builders. My experience with the Wren approved builders was terrible. The team of builders ruined the whole house when fitting the kitchen. They ran through every room. Cut the worktops etc in the dining room rather than outside. There was dust and debris everywhere.
The actual products arrived in a bad state. Luckily, they do allow you to order replacements via the app. But as my kitchen was fitted before Christmas, I had to wait a month for the replacements.
I then went through the experience again with my mothers kitchen. This time using our own builders. Wren offered a £200 referral at the time. I asked our designer if we would qualify at the time my mum ordered the kitchen and the designer said yes. The designer then proceeded to place the order under my account rather than create a new one for my mum. Breached all kinds of data protection. The upshot is Wren refused to pay the £200 referral to me for referring my mum and £200 to my mum who was referred as per the offer, because the designer incorrectly added my mums kitchen to my account. Rather than admit their error and pay up, they refused.
I did the Refer a Friend offer on my own kitchen from a friend, which Wren did honour. But when I raised the refer a friend for my mum, the store manager had the audacity to suggest I should pay my mum £200 to make up for Wrens admin error.
The last piece of advice I would give is once you've received a quote from Wren, hold firm and do not be pressurised into giving a deposit. There will always be offers. Also check the price of flooring, sink and worktops. You will find them substantially cheaper online elsewhere.
There's an update to my review. Thank you so much Daniela and Trustpilot. Wren kitchens has been in touch and offered to pay the £400 to me and my mum for the referral. We're waiting for the money to be paid to our bank accounts. Once received, I'll post an update.

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the cabinet installation.
The installation date was agreed for 18th August, however, the fitter attended a day late on 19th August. Only one fitter arrived, despite the size of the project clearly requiring at least two fitters. Unfortunately, he left without even starting the installation and appeared to have no experience with this type of work.
This is completely unacceptable and has caused unnecessary delay and inconvenience to our project.
Please can you provide a date when a properly equipped experience team will carry out the work in full.
I would appreciate your urgent response and resolution to this matter.

Now its ben 2 weeks delivery has ben done, it is still not completed.
As you open the boxes, you encountered a new surprises and the product turn’s out to be Kitchen is a huge disappointment for me

We decided to renovate our home and expand the kitchen—our first major renovation. Initially, our experience with Wren Kitchens in Enfield was positive. Our designer, was helpful and responsive, assuring us that our dryer would fit into a specific unit with minor modifications.
However, things quickly unraveled. The pre-installation survey was delayed, and no issues were flagged. During installation, the coordinator ignored my messages and only communicated with my husband, who was abroad, causing confusion. When the installer arrived, he found major design flaws: the dryer unit was too small, and plumbing was incorrectly planned. He halted work, and we had to bring builders back to fix the issues.
Wren blamed us for choosing the wrong unit, despite their our designer designing the kitchen. We paid £600 for a new unit, now delayed by three weeks. The installer returned to complete most of the work but left quality concerns. Then, the worktop templater refused to proceed due to a missing plank—another design oversight. We're now chasing Wren to fix this, delaying the project by at least a month.
We’ve been without a kitchen for two weeks, and the experience has been incredibly stressful. Wren’s disjointed process, poor design, and lack of accountability have made this a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
Update on 10 June- it's been over a week since this review was posted and we have had no action from Wren. I did email them my order details after posting my review but haven't heard back from them. The templating guy finally turned up found multiple issues with the design and failed the install- he wants us to change the sink as it is not compatible with the unit it rests on. He even had the cheek to make it sound like it was out fault for picking out the wrong sink- I had to remind him that we are not experts and the designer should have pointed this to us at the showroom. The designer, of course, was happy to sell us the sink and unit. So overall, we are looking at a few weeks delay before we can get a working kitchen. We have now logged a formal complaint and are determined to take this all the way to the Courts for all the inconvenience and stress.
