It I would have looked at TRUSTPILOT before I order, I would not have ordered. Glad I didn’t on this occasion because my order of a 3mm thick MDF sheet was without any drama. Received the okay and it was packed extremely well. Happy with my order!

First time using woodsheets, ordering was easy, communication good, delivery fast and very happy with order when received so much so much so that i immediately ordered more. Would definitely recommend.

The delivery time, unbelievable quality of the packaging for the product and the mm accuracy of 26 pieces of plywood delivered in perfect condition leaves me very impressed. I will certainly recommend woodsheets.com and use you again.

I can't express how disappointed I am with my dealings with this company. I don't often voice my compliments but I feel totally ripped off here. My story is below for anyone daft enough to be considering placing an order with them...

Things started out with such high hopes, however I wish I had checked on trust pilot before placing my order.

I don't think my order could have been more simple. Some 100mm wide cut strips in 6mm MDF, and some 30mm wide cut strips of 30mm MDF to use as battens. I ordered on the Tuesday and paid for the express delivery option. It was quite price (£30) but with delivery either Wednesday or Thursday at the latest it seemed worth it. Wednesday came and went, no material arrived. That's fine, Thursday is still great. I get an email on Wednesday evening saying the delivery was scheduled for Friday. That's not on really, as I specifically paid for the express delivery.

I contacted the website and expressed my dissatisfaction at the amount paid for the delivery and the fact it was not arriving in the time period that it was sold as. They agree to refund the express delivery charge. But it will take 14 days for the refund to go through. Well that seems fair enough, material arrived on Friday. Unfortunately that's not where this ends...

Upon opening the material it was evident that the 30 x 30 battens had been cut as 6mm x 30mm. Very annoying, so I contacted the website again on Friday evening explaining the issue, not expecting a reply until Monday. Monday came and went with nothing back. I chase it up on Tuesday and get a response saying someone will be in contact within 2 days. By Thursday evening there was still nothing so I chase it up yet again. I finally get a response on Friday afternoon saying the job would be going back into production. By this point it is completely pointless as I have sourced the materials elsewhere. I replied with that and have not heard anything back since.

I would avoid this company at all costs. I'm now £90 down and unsure whether the delivery charge was even refunded.

The first order took a while to arrive, and when we got it there were marks on it, the join on the edging was bad, and it felt like it needed a good sanding down to finish it.

I told woodsheets that it was not acceptable and they offered to do it again because clearly their quality control had not picked up on the flaws.

When the replacement arrived it was a bit better finished, there was a slight damage mark on one side but that could be underneath so did not matter.

And although the order was clearly marked that the grain should follow the long side, it was not.

But I decided to accept as it did look quite good as our TV cabinet extension top, and the two minor issues were not a big problem.

Joke. 3 weeks and no reaction to our order. Phone calls unanswered. Avoid this parody of a woodcutting company

Very easy to choose measurements and type of mdf. Arrived as described. Very convenient.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company. I was quoted 26th-27th January delivery window and paid for express delivery. Product arrived 14th Feb once I emailed asking for an update on the product. Bought a custom size desk and was shorted about 5cms there was a scribbled note on the invoice that was barely readable and only became clear what it was referring to once I sized the table top up to the separate frame I had. The thickness has come from two melamine faced tabletops joined together melamine side to melamine side which is odd. The table top was also coated in a weird oily film which meant I had to get a degreaser to remove the imprint of the packaging materials left on the surface. The edge banding on one of the sides is loose but luckily this was pushed against the wall.

Overall, had I visited Trustpilot first I would have avoided this company completely as it is clear they do not value their customers or take pride in their work.

Great service for what I needed. Comprehensive ordering system, but easy to follow. Good delivery and well packed. Highly recommended.

Honestly don't like saying rude things about anything however my experience so far really isn't great so far. My order is currently 8 days late with no indication of it being delevered any time soon. I have emailed and even phoned twice now however have simply been told both times that I would be phoned right back after they check my oder (I wasn't phoned back either time).

Fast delivery and excellent quality shelving

Order was late and missing an essential part. I wasn't happy with the way this was initially handled but Chris got in touch and was helpful and polite. I received a refund

Spoke to company before I ordered. Was given advice and told that if I selected express delivery the items (many mdf shelves - 200 words worth ) would be delivered on time, ordered and thought nothing of it, phoned on Tuesday and Wednesday (the day it was supposed to arrive ) and was told it would get chased up, today is Thursday and it still hasn’t been dispatched .

The builder was booked in to do the 3 rooms today that the shelves were for our whole house is like a building site with stuff everywhere that’s going on the shelves awaiting it being installed, we had to pay the guy who has booked us in for his time (we left 4 days to make sure he would be delivered on time but paid for express delivery which we were told before hand would definitely be here by Wednesday at the latest ).

Anyway we had to pay the builder for his time for doing nothing today. But the worst part is that next week he is only available Tuesday (which I’m booked in for again, and better not have to pay him again for no work like I had to today), , meaning if we are still being lied to by woodsheets.com and it doesn’t get dispatched today and arrive tomorrow it’s going to be another 2 weeks of chaos in the house . 2 of the bedrooms in the house where shelves are going are utter chaos, all the stuff moved awash from the edges into the middle so work could proceed today . All for nothing, and it’s absolutely shocking that it’s not delivered when we were told it would be here Tuesday or Wednesday at latest.

I’ve been dealing with Hayley since I rang up Tuesday, she’s polite and nice but I’m not convinced anything’s happened . Every time I’ve spoke to her she said she’d escalated it with the warehouse team. This morning I demanded to speak to a mananger on the phone and via email, I was furious that the wood wasn’t here and I had to pay the builder, I suggested if it was a problem with the thickness of the wood then I was fine with it being upgraded to fire resistant stuff at no extra expense given it had been delayed but was told the wood wasn’t the issue it was awaiting being checked, I phoned up again a few minutes ago and apparently nothings changed. Hayley assured me we would be refunded the express delivery amount and it would still arrive in time (it won’t and can’t now) , but given I’m booked in for Tuesday at 8am it better be there before then (a week later than planned and a day already paid to get it fitted )

I really want to speak to a mananger about compensation and about ensuring this gets resolved and arrives Monday at the latest,

Good quality. I feel I had to chase up the order but I did get my order. Customer service was great can't complain. I would recommend them.

I ordered 12 different sized pieces of Black Melamine Faced Chipboard at about 9pm on 21st January, for pickup as I was in a bit of a hurry. These were for replacing plinths in a kitchen. The automated system said they would be ready for pickup on the 23rd. I set up an account so I could track my order.
Tracking on the 23rd, it said my order was in Quality Control and this went on all morning. I rang up and asked and was told that the requested edge banding had failed QC and was being rectified. As I had about an hours drive, I rang at 2pm to see when they would be ready, was asked to hold, then told they were on the way out. Arrived about 4pm and the parts were all available in the office and I was even given a hand out to the car.
All in all very good service and the job is now complete.

Ordered 4 small shelves last Thursday and all arrived the following Wednesday with no issues. Very happy with these and speed was unexpected. The communication wasn't perfect and I didn't know how long these were going to take until I was sent the "shipped" email, but signing up for an online account and checking the status there was helpful. Didn't have any of the issues others have mentioned, though perhaps due to my order being pretty small. I would probably order from them again if I had the need.
