There was some confusion at times but eventually everything fell into place nicely. Hayley Dempster did very well and we are very pleased with the finished bathroom. No complaints and the builders were very cooperative to our needs.

Visited Worthing store today. Made a small purchase but customer service skills was totally appalling. Infact non existent on checkout. The guy had no personal skills in like saying...good morning, please or thankyou. Those two words go such a long way! Perhaps the management team need to provide training in customer service skills! Not the first time I have encountered poor service on checkout. Do you not want returning customers????

I came in the worthing branch this morning...there was a queue with with about 6 people waiting ...a lady with a trolley just jumped the queue ...when it was my turn I of course went forward to the till sadly the lady on the till accused me of jumping the queue...she was rude saying I was wrong but wasn't prepared to argue with me...when I tried to explain the lady with the trolley had just walked in front of everyone...

Wickes is the best place to order garden stuff. They let you know when being delivered and they deliver on time. I was not in and they kindly put in my garden for me so delivery drivers are exceptionally good. I have ordered from wickes twice and had no issues so will definitely order again and definitely recommend

We were stuck for ideas of how to layout an en-suite. We booked Wickes and the booking availability was quick and a visit was available in a matter of days. The service of the sales estimator attending was prompt and very professional and provided ideas that were simple yet very effective.

An absolute five-star experience from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen. The design by Glen MacRae was outstanding, his service was exceptional throughout. He was never pushy, took the time to listen to every detail we wanted, and ultimately delivered even more than we expected. His knowledge and expertise really shone through, and the finished result is simply stunning.
We also used the Wickes kitchen fitters, who were fantastic. The entire installation ran smoothly, stayed on schedule, and was completed to an incredibly high standard.
We would highly recommend without hesitation.

Having Joanna Tandy as my kitchen designer was fortunate, not only because of her professionalism and courtesy; her detailed product knowledge meant that, given my desire for economy, I was guided towards products that suited both my pocket and my needs. Ultimately Joanna designed for me a kitchen that combined quality, durability and was, importantly , aesthetically pleasing at a price that I was very happy to accept

Excellent bathroom design & planning by Glen MacRae, Worthing branch.
Although my bathroom has yet to be installed, I just wanted to acknowledge the fantastic customer service that I have received so far.
Glen was friendly, knowledgable & patient when I decided to make a couple of tweaks to the original design. Nothing was too much trouble. I’m looking forward to the complete bathroom makeover and christening the much needed beautiful new shower!

Today I asked for help regarding screws of 60 mm length and wanted help to make sure I got matching impact driver heads to make sure I do not thread the heads. Staff did come but he showed me pz head for 70mm, then at the end rather than checking to 60mm screw he walked off. Well the pz for 70mm is not the same as for the 60mm I needed them for and had to get more pz2 heads. Ten quid down drain. Also they charged full price for reduced stuff. The stuff U only got because was less than half price and end up paying full price anyway and was missing one driver of 3. Staff too lazy to look out for customer. It is not much more for them to look for reduced sticker before the normal barcode. And why go all to effort of open boxes and checking screw and impact pz match to then as I pointed out the wrong ones, he said oh il put them back but that box is open now and I thought he'd helped. The impact bits were the only reason I walked from Worthing train station to east Worthing Wickes. Total waste of time and money. Customers make sure they know it's reduced and maybe call a friend or just open up the boxes and check yourself. As any ones word doesn't trump physical testing first . That said the staff were polite.

Just been to Wickes, Worthing branch to buy storage boxes for Christmas decorations. Very good price for the boxes, but wanted to mention the lovely staff at this branch. Elodie was so helpful and polite, and the lad on the till (sorry, didn’t get his name, but checkout 3 at 12.32!) was also a great example of how to treat customers.

Really happy with our new kitchen. Alfie always responded to any questions we had and was very helpful.

The whole process for our new Bathroom was handled brilliantly by Hannah Brandon at Wickes Worthing. Starting with the initial meeting and the design process she was very helpful and efficient, everything from ordering the materials to booking the work was timed perfectly with no issues and kept us informed regularly.
The Plumber Stuart Harmour and his team were excellent and the quality of work was superb!

Firstly we are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. The whole process from the initial design by Alfie Saunders (Wickes Worthing branch), to the removal and fitting by Neil and his team were carried out very professionally. In a job of this size there will always be unforeseen problems, but we were kept informed and quickly given a resolution. The final result has surpassed our expectations, the layout and appliances have made our lives so much easier, we are overjoyed.

We bought a few bathroom items from Wickes at Worthing that arrived in January 2025.

For the most part we are quite happy with the items provided but potential buyers should be aware that the hinged toilet seats are not very robust. One of ours - that was supposed to be good quality - broke after only a few months of limited use. It was fitted by a professional plumber so I'm sure it wasn't a faulty installation issue.

We tried to get the toilet seat replaced and took this into Wickes @ Worthing only to be told we had to go through Customer Services telephone number.

Customer Services told us that it had to be sorted out by the store - which was frustrating.

So, upon ringing the store I was told that they won't replace anything over 30 days old. They couldn't have mentioned this when we were in the shop?

So - after a a shop visit, and email and two phone calls the outcome was not ideal. It's not a lot of money, but I'd expect Wickes products to last more than just a few months. I'd also expect a company like Wickes to not pass customers backwards and forwards between departments.

Worth bearing in mind if you are thinking of buying items from them,

The staff are really helpful and take their time explaining the options of the products available. The store is well laid out with good signage and easy parking. My product was bulky & heavy and they kindly helped me take the product to my car.

Hannah was very knowledgeable and keen to help, she showed me ideas of examples in the Showroom. We talked through different scenarios and ideas. The experience was relaxed and enjoyable and a collaboration. Well done Hannah at Wickes in Worthing.

Visited the store today with a small list ( husband sent me ) asked Ben to help me with my list , as I really didn’t want to walk around for ages looking for things, well what a very helpful young man , it was no trouble helping me , and made sure I got all the right items. So thank you for your kindness Ben it was much appreciated

We are looking into having our bathroom redone.Glenn ( Worthing branch) was very helpful. He arrived and took a look at the bathroom. Have some very good ideas and was very helpful. Next appointment booked with him.

I had to pick up building material for my husband. I went over 2 days and on both days have very helpful staff who did the heavy lifting for me, off the shelves and into my car. I would like to praise Max and Fraiser for their help and kindness.

We have recently converted a separate bathroom and toilet into a wet room.
It was designed by Jo Tandy at Wickes and put in by Adam at Sussex All trades.
All of the products were ordered by Jo who also arranged the installation.
The whole process went very smoothly.
Etch stage was followed up by Wickes customer service to make sure that we were happy.
