Wickes - Welwyn Garden City Anmeldelser

Excellent customer service today from Frankie at wgc. He was Helpful, polite friendly and informative. Also excellent customer service from Greg who was placing an order for me when I changed my mind half way through. Very patience and polite. Also great service from Mitchell who helped us to the car.

I searched for an item but couldn't find what I needed so asked the guy at the till if they stock it. He was dismissive and disinterested. I had to explain what it was , what it was used for and as a last resort showed him a phone pic of said item. The shop was empty so I wasn't holding anyone up in the queue.
I left to shop elsewhere

Amy from WGC wicks was most helpful, helping me pick an appropriate paint and colour for my work staff room !

Fantastic experience from start to finish with a new kitchen installation for my mum. We worked with Ashley Williams from the Welwyn branch, I would highly recommend, he was super patient, calm and very easy to work with, nothing was any trouble and he made sure that we could work out a solution to meet our needs and budget. Also the planner and fitters were excellent too, everything was carried out as planned and ahead of schedule in the end, all very professional, excellent quality and workmanship.
We were all super impressed with the service and quality from Wickes and I have been recommending to my friends and family. Thanks so much for such a good experience.

I recently purchased a new kitchen with Amy from Wickes Welwyn and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! Amy was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to understand my needs and offering great design suggestions. The end result looks absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Amy and Wickes for anyone looking for a top-quality kitchen with excellent customer service!

Great experience and service from the showroom team and fitter Paul McCarthy designing and fitting our new Kitchen. As well as the colleagues on the shop floor when it came to ordering the tiles and flooring to complete the project.

New Bathroom.
We went to Wickes in Welwyn Garden City with the hope to upgrade our bathroom. We spent some time with Ashley who listened to our wants and needs. After he visited our house to measure everything correctly, he sent us some great plans. He made it very easy for us to make some small amends. We now can not wait to see it when it is done.

Ashley was great from start to finish. The design was excellent and Ashley was very patient. I would highly recommend.

Went in Wickes to get some flooring, once we got to the till, we was served by Greg, who was very helpful and informative, and even advised and helped myself sign up for a TradePro card listing all the benefits of having one, allowing me to save 10% on my purchase! Brilliant customer service!

We have used Wickes before for our kitchen and again they didn't disappoint us on our 2nd occasion. Our design consultant Amy Tang was exceptional, right from the moment we walked into the showroom and all the way through to us placing the order.

We had our bathroom designed by Amy Tang at the Welwyn Garden City store and installed by Chris Bembridge.
She was very professional and patient, and went above and beyond to ensure the design was perfect. Her advice and her product knowledge, as well as the Wickes installation service made the whole experience easy and stress free.

Great customer service from kitchen planning service. Amy Tang one of the kitchen designers impressed me by her friendly and helpful manner as well as overall competence and efficiency.

Bathroom Designer Review: A Perfect Blend of Elegance and Functionality

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley for a complete bathroom remodel, and he completely put me at ease from our first consultation. Ashley has an incredible eye for design. He took the time to understand my preferences and lifestyle, incorporating my ideas while introducing innovative concepts I hadn’t even considered. The balance between aesthetics and functionality was seamless—every fixture, tile, and colour palette felt intentional and cohesive.
Throughout the project, communication was transparent and frequent. Ashley kept me informed about progress, any challenges, and key decision points, ensuring that everything stayed on schedule. They worked closely with contractors, managing every aspect of the remodel with precision. It was refreshing to work with someone who is as professional as they are creative.
Overall Experience
If you're looking for a bathroom designer who combines style, functionality, and meticulous attention to detail, I highly recommend Ashley. He transformed a tired, outdated space into a modern and relaxing space. I have will be contact Ashley again on future projects.

Excellent customer service from Greg at Wickes Welwyn Garden City last weekend, when looking for wood to make Wildlife boxes. Helpful advice regarding the right materials, very friendly and brought everything to my car. Thank you very much Greg!

I have recently moved to WGC and have used Wickes for lots of DIY requirements. The staff are always polite and helpful, but I would like to praise Greg who went above and beyond to help me yesterday.
I needed 2 items that I couldn't locate but he spent time searching the shelves and suggesting alternative solutions. He was very patient explaining how to adjust a door catch I needed, so a big thank you for your excellent service.

Helen at WGC branch was just so patience and helpful. Helped me create an online order. To be honest all the staff at this branch and really knowledgeable and approachable. So happy I only live around the corner.

Staff members very helpful and store very nice and looked after

Great experience in Welwyn Wickes the other day. The staff go above and beyond every visit. Shout out to Michael the store manager who always leads from the front. Also another big shout out for the designer Oliver who was very helpful in the show room and giving us some good inspiration for our kitchen ideas.

Went to B&Q for some C10 wood and couldn't find it anywhere - the assistant didn't even know what I was on about. Went to Wickes and Greg assisted me, it was seemless service. Been back to Wickes numerous times since and Greg's pretty much advised on all my home projects (he may as well have done it himself). He advised all the right products - very informative, polite and helpful. I am now a Wickes TradePro user account holder.

Shakira at the Welwyn Garden City branch was extremely friendly and knowledgeable in helping me choose the correct lighting for my home.
