Wickes - Waltham Cross Anmeldelser 

We visited the Waltham Cross store to discuss a new kitchen and we left with a brand new kitchen an hour later, and it's all thanks to Vanesa! She was great -- very helpful and made our kitchen exactly the way we wanted it. She made useful suggestions and really maximised small space we have. A big thanks to Vanesa once again, and here's a message to Wickes headoffice; please upgrade the PCs your staff are using - we could've been done and finished under an hour if the computers were faster!!!

We went to wickes in Waltham Abbey to have a look and ended up with an appointment with Tom. He is an expert in every way. Very professional, listened to our plans, our wants and needs and even helped us on some undecided parts. Thank you Tom!!

Paul was very attentive and kindly helped me with my heavy purchases in the waltham cross store. Paul’s cheery and positive attitude improved my shopping experience and his help was very much appreciated.

Today I picked up a click and collect order. To me these items were extremely heavy ( couldn't even pick up one end of the fence spur! ) one of the team at Waltham Cross Wickes kindly took my order to my car, placed it in there and also returned the trolley. Really helped a customer with a disability, and I left truly humbled with the help.

I was in Wicks this afternoon and I’m not as young as I used to be! However I asked this young guy for some help with picket fence/ posts/ etc! This guy was more than helpful and smiled throughout the whole time! Fantastic service from him! We need more like him. Thank you young man

As a housewife, i visited Wicks @ WC on a few occasions during 2024 and feel I must point out that although I find the showroom in need of some order (no prices or obstructions in the gangway, otherwise I would have given 5 stars)
I cannot fault the willingness of the staff in helping me to find what i needed. On two of those occasions a female staff member (sorry i didn't get her name but she had a tattoo on her neck) was very helpful in finding and advising me on the products and on another occasion it was a gentleman who helped me load my car as the item was too heavy for me.
I think Wicks could do with a few more staff members unless you go when it's quiet, otherwise you might have to wait in a queue at the checkout and it might deter thieves from stealing goods and walking out.

Nordia was very helpful and courteous.

Nordia in the Waltham Cross branch was really helpful when we visited the store this morning. Very polite and showed us where to find the product we were looking for.

I was looking at pai t for my bathroom and a lady called Ewelina come over and asked if I need help which she was very friendly and helpful helping choose what type of paint to use thank you very very much

I would like to tell you that when I visited one of your stores how helpful all the staff are. I had to ask a couple of members of staff different questions and they were all so helpful and happy. Even when the staff were not helping customers they were all busy and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. I have been coming to this store for many years as I have always lived in the area, but the staff here now are some of the best staff I've seen. Well done to Wickes and the Waltham Cross team.

I have been shopping in this branch for the last 2 years. Today on 22 Jan 2025 at around 9.30am I experienced the rudest treatment from the lady at the till. While I was going to collect some topsoil which the shop positionedin front of the entrance doors, this lady started with 'Hello! Where are you going?" When I told her that I need to collect some topsoil, she responded by saying leave the trolley inside and go carry 25kg bag from outside!!! Later she agreed to follow me and check that I am not stealing 4 tree sticks that I had in my trolley!!! It seems that the woman had an extensive exposure to thieves and shop lifters and forgot (or never leaned) about customer service. The management of the shop need to train their staff as if they expect prison style treatment they should forget about customers and income! This was my last visit to this branch. I do recommend everybody to avoid visiting also.

Self-employed carpenter and use Wickes (Waltham Cross branch) frequently. Best DIY store in the area by far, the staff are always friendly, and items are always well organised - I also had a great experience with Nordia who took her time to direct me to the shelf supports!

Absolutely brilliant service from beginning to end. Vanesa was so knowledgeable and efficient when designing our new bathroom. Darren was also totally efficient when fitting the new bathroom. When a couple of items were faulty, Darren organised replacements and fitted them without any problems. Brilliant service all round.
