Our kitchen designer Mark Sheward in Tunstall was excellent, very professional, personable and more than anything knowledgeable.
He recommended products and colourways for the kitchen design and made the whole process painless.
We look forward to having our new kitchen installed in November.

What a fantastic experience with mark at Tunstall.
He came round for a visit and listened to what I wanted and my budget. He took all that away with him and then my first appointment was made to look at the design.
When I went to look at the design I was blown away, his design was above and beyond my expectations. I’m very nervous with these things and mark put me at ease with questions I had and also little changes I wanted.
I would highly recommend mark for his wonderful design, patience and just being a lovely friendly genuine guy.
I thought the process would be pushy sales and the gift of the gab but mark was nothing like this which made my decision to purchase easier .
I have purchased the kitchen and put in on order for next year so can’t wait to get my 2026 project started and I know that mark will be there if I need any sort of reassurance or any other questions that I may need answering.

We, the Natural Sciences Centre CIC in N. Staffs, applied to Wickes for help under the Company's generous community programme. An easy process. The day after submitting the request I went to the store and took away the materials asked for worth nearly £100 just like that! Amazing. Their community rep, Sarah, was friendly and helpful. We shall be back again in three month's time for sure.

Wickes community programme donated several tubs of paint for our new outdoor reading den. Sarah was brilliant & meant that we can spend the money we saved on stocking the den with books. Thank you Wickes Tunstall.

I never normally have a problem with this company . Even having our kitchen designed & installed was great. However, today I popped into my local wickes and the member of staff on the till was very rude. No acknowledgment, no hello, no thank you, no goodbye. In my opinion these things are simple good manners. I was disappointed. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her. Poor customer service.

We haven’t progressed to the next steps of our bathroom design yet but had our first appointment yesterday for a home visit to discuss a design for an en suite.

Jessica from the Tunstall store arrived and was punctual, friendly and professional.

Jess had a good knowledge of products available and understood the overall look we wanted to achieve. She kept this in mind throughout the appointment, taking it into consideration when showing different options/materials.
She also made it clear when looking at the room and space available on what was/wasn’t feasible in terms of layout and product options.
We are looking forward to our follow up appointment to see the design.

I’m the sponsorship and fundraising officer for Kidsgrove Cricket Club, I applied via the Wickes website for the community funding which was super simple, I received an email confirmation to confirm acceptance and to visit my local store, each store is allocated £100 to give to local clubs/groups/charities etc, I visited the Tunstall Branch and dealt with Hannah who was absolutely amazing, I picked the items that our club needed from stock In store and Hannah processed via the online community fund hub,whole process literally took 10 minutes. Kidsgrove CC is super grateful and I would advise any community or charity group to apply for the grant.

Mark Sheward was Fantastic from start to finish, regarding our recent purchase of a Wickes’ kitchen. Mark gave us some great ideas and advice, and we are completely satisfied with his service. Warren Davies designed my kitchen exactly as I pictured it. He listened to what I wanted not pushing to do it his way as I'd had with others.
He discussed what he'd done to see if I wanted to change anything and did exactly that when I did.
I would 100% recommend Warren Davies to design a kitchen.
I'm so very very happy with the appliances and units, they look amazing. The design works great when I'm cooking. Just how I had imagined it. So happy I chose Wickes.

Wickes Community grant scheme has provided 15 bags of compost to enable tree planting on a car park making it more environmentally friendly.

No hassle, easily sorted and with friendly assistants helping us to choose the best deal.

Nice a friendly store, very approachable members of staff. The ladies on the tills, their names are Gillian and Deb, are always happy to help, and always have a smile on their faces. It’s nice to be served by staff who have a little chat as you are being served. It’s a shame other stores don’t have the same, friendly, approachable members of staff. Keep up the great customer service guys. Thank you.

The Tunstall store is excellent, clean and tidy and easy to find what you want. Staff are always helpful and friendly, makes shopping for everyday things like gardening tools a pleasure!

The store manager Karl is an asset to the team at Wickes. He is knowledgeable and helpful whenever we visit the store

Our kitchen is under guarantee. A couple of doors blistered. They were replaced. Now more have blistered, now we are accused of over using them!!!!"Suddenly Karl from Tunstall branch is ignoring us. They are a disgrace!!!!! We don't want a meaningless apology, we want a guarantee honoured!!

This is one of the best wickes that we use. And i use alot of differnet stores.
Nothing is to much for them. Amazing service everytime. Always a smile makes our day

The staff were very helpful. Ryan helped us a lot. He arranged the delivery of our items. He carried one of our bags of chippings to our car. A very helpful young man. He was very polite . We would like to say a big thank you to him.

Tunstall wickes for new kitchen (plus needed lots of rebuild works ) and Lynton Lomas the design consultant was the best ! Helpful supportive and nothing too much trouble (and we changed our minds a couple of times!) always quick to respond to our queries and he organised the best of the fitters Dave Holland to come complete our kitchen and works. We are so pleased and they all worked well to meet our needs highly recommend ask for Lynton

The kitchen itself is lovely, and the fitter did an excellent job. I couldn’t fault his work. Unfortunately, my experience with Mark Sheward, the salesman at the Stoke Tunstall branch, was the complete opposite.

Mark’s sales pitch was all about how he would "stand by me" throughout the process, even after the sale was completed. This could not have been further from the truth. Once he had my money, he was nowhere to be seen. I faced issue after issue, from delayed deliveries to missing items, but Mark Sheward showed zero interest in helping resolve these problems. Instead, I was left to deal with the stress on my own.

His lack of follow-through and unprofessional attitude made what should have been an exciting project into a frustrating ordeal. Mark Shewards promises were clearly just a ploy to close the sale. I value good customer service and was drawn to Wickes under the impression that I would receive it. However, this experience has left me deeply disappointed.

If you're considering Wickes Kitchens, I’d suggest being cautious about who you deal with in the sales department. The fitting process was smooth and the end result fantastic, but Mark Sheward’s conduct soured the experience. His sales tactics were not only misleading but also completely untrustworthy. I hope Wickes takes note and ensures that their sales team lives up to the quality of their products and fitters.
