Fantastic experience from start to finish…our designer Marie was always available to help, she had excellent attention to detail and came up with great options and made several tweaks to suit our needs - nothing was too much trouble and she was always honest and showed great integrity. Our installation team was Onyx Bathrooms and they were also very helpful, clean and tidy and very careful around the home- we are delighted with the results and will certainly use both again for our other rooms. The cost is a little higher, but helped massively by the 0% credit. Highly recommended!

We firstly went to look as we needed someone to properly measure and plan our kitchen, we met Lorraine Littlewood. We openly said that we may not go ahead and this did not phase Lorraine at all. She put such effort and attention into our plan, taking into consideration all of our needs. Lorraine was fantastic throughout, it was like she was planning for her own home. She made suggestions and we also made quite a few changes, nothing was too much trouble and our whole experience with Lorraine was fantastic. Would highly recommend her. Now waiting for our beautiful and functional new kitchen to be installed. Mr and Mrs Worthington.

Have previously bought wickes own brand paint for internal use, this time needed garden paint, again purchased own brand and it’s one of the best paints I’ve ever used.

My husband and i was with a really LOVELY SOUL called LORRAINE LITTLEWOOD she has such expertise and knows her job WELL , but as important she just radiates a SINCERE wanting to help and get things right also there is a lot of LOVE that RADIATES from her so much that i gave her a BIG HUG she is a VERY SPECIAL SOUL which is RARE to find IT WAS A JOY MEETING YOU KIND REGARDS SUSAN AND PETER CHITTENDEN

The Oldway Gardens Group approached Wickes to participate in the Wickes Community Programme. As a registered charity we are always looking for community support to help the volunteers maintain the 17 acres of grounds at Oldway. Mary the Community & Charity rep and Emily were both exceedingly helpful and professional with the end result of some brand new tools to help in work in the gardens. Thank you.

Wonderful courteous and amenable staff, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! I would like to especially thank Tony for his help in guiding my purchase choice (wood and screws for garden furniture) and for ensuring prior to purchase that the bulky buy would fit into my car. Thank you also to the lady who helped me load the final purchase in through the car boot! (She was tall with red hair - in a pony tail). Mary is also always friendly and helpful on the tills whenever I visit! Thank you for a great all round shopping experience! You have a brilliant team of staff at Wickes in TQ!

From initial visit by Lorraine to installation by Jason and his team, everything was delivered to the highest standard.
Lorraine visited our home, took thorough note of our requirements, budget and style preferences and came up with a lovely design that ticked all our boxes.
Following our acceptance of the design and attractive price, procurement and delivery went very smoothly.
The icing on the cake was Jason and his team who provided a speedy, professional and quality installation of our kitchen. Always with a smile and ‘can do ‘ attitude to his work.
We feel very fortunate to have been dealt a pack of card with all aces.

Lorraine Littlewood has been amazing. She was dealing with a very small kitchen. We had our own ideas but she very gently explained how we could make better use of the space with her own experience of ideas. The results of her design were wonderful. She was very appreciative of our budget constraints and everything came in on budget. Now just waiting for the fitting. Massive thanks to her for all her help

Went to Wickes for a new kitchen, the design/consultant (Marie) was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The fitter (Matt) who came to fit the new kitchen was friendly and extremely helpful.

Tony and Haley were very helpful. Tony helps to put my bags of sand in the car. I have always had friendly staff when l have come before to Wicks in Torquay which makes me happy use this shop. It is also very clear with a great coffee van outside.

I was indecisive about using Wicks or another company to start with but within a few minutes of meeting Jay at a home visit I was impressed. I visited the store for an appointment with Jay, he was fantastic at explaining everything about the kitchen that I chose. All I can say is what a lovely man. I purchased the kitchen there & then, can not speak more highly of the service that I received & wouldn’t hesitate to to use again. Thankyou Jay

I had a wonderful gentleman who works at wickes help me load 25 panels of plasterboard. He was very helpful and also had great conversation too - definite perk!

We recently bought a Lifestyle kitchen from Wickes Torquay store. Everything went smoothly until we received delivery of the kitchen, unfortunately there was damage to quite a few of the cupboards and the 2 end panels of the fridge/freezer unit were bowed. We received replacements after another month which delayed the fitting of the kitchen as we had to reschedule with our fitter which took another couple of months and without a kitchen. We had a few items left over which we didn't need, as when you purchase a kitchen the Design Consultant adds everything on to the order, end panels for everything etc. We were advised that if we didn't need everything, no problem we could return if unopened. Terms and conditions confirm this. We had a unit left over and took it back to the Torquay store. The very nice staff downstairs directed us upstairs after phoning them to advise we on our way up. However, by the time we got upstairs all staff had scarpered, we could hear them laughing somewhere. Finally somebody appeared and said that we were not entitled to bring anything back. After a heated discussion they refunded us. We also had a base end left so on another day took this back, all within the stated return time. This time they were trying every angle not to refund us. It was a bespoke kitchen (not true, it was off the shelf as advised by the staff), over the return time etc. There were several staff surrounding me. I couldn't believe it, all I wanted to do was make a return within the time limit. It stressed me out so much that I can't face going back to that store with the one item still left over, or again to purchase anything else. Staff are all smiles when you are buying a kitchen but totally different when wanting to make a return. Not good customer service at all from the kitchen section.
