A massive shout out to Jack over at the Southport Wickes for his support with our Forest School. We’ve been working on getting our outdoor provision sorted, and Jack made the whole process of securing donations so straightforward and stress-free.
Honestly, it’s refreshing to work with someone who just gets it. He was incredibly helpful and made sure everything went through without any fuss. Having that support has made such a difference in getting our outdoor learning space ready for the kids. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping out the local community and schools, Jack is your guy. Thanks again.

Our Design Consultant Steve Ambler was fantastic from start to finish. We had ideas on the 2 bathrooms we wanted renovating which he helped us make reality in the design process. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable, very adept at using the design technology which is a great tool, the visualisation of plans is brilliant. He explained every facet of what Wickes will provide from their service clearly & concisely, answering any questions in the same manner. The home visit by Steve was great, all of the characteristics & personality of Steve in store translated to the home visit. We now look forward to finalising our installation date with a Wickes approved fitter in due course on both bathrooms. Steve is a great asset to Wickes!

Called into Wicks Southport store was well laid out , staff were really helpful and polite and offered to help seems I was in a wheelchair and items fairly priced

Shirley was amazing really helped us out and sorted my trade account aswell. 5* service.

Ellie was very helpful in getting me the paint colour I wanted mixing.

Placed a large click and collect order at Southport Store. Craig and Calum had it ready within the 15 minutes and were very accommodating, you really couldn’t get this service anywhere else

Always so helpful, I popped into the Southport branch for some paint to decorate my daughters bedroom and there was so many to choose from I was spoilt for choice!

So happy Wickes have come to Southport. Always great choice and value, and so much better than B&Q!
Visited again today and, as always fantastic service. Special thanks to Mike to helped me and get 6 bags of concrete to my car. This guy is really helpful and really pleasant to deal with. 2nd time he has helped me.
Also a mention to the young lady on the till, Misca (maybe not the correct spelling, sorry), another pleasant employee.

Steve went above and beyond to help me. He went out of his way to travel to my home and spent a lot of time and effort designing a beautiful kitchen. He was clear with the price of each aspect of the kitchen and i felt respected and fully informed at all stages of the design process. I would highly recommend southport wicks to all. Very very happy with my new kitchen!

Really disappointed with the Wickes fitter. Despite paying Wickes for the fitting the fitter then priced the job at around an extra £1800. He advised that he would consult with us on any extra cost so we were not expecting any surprises. After running two weeks over on the job which meant four weeks of no sink or cooker he then landed us with an extra £1000 on the fitting bill bringing it to £2700 plus the 3k we had already paid to Wickes. I have never had a tradesman in my home before that has hit us with an extra 1k on top of an already steep bill. We also had no soft close on doors or trim between doors all if which they had on the showroom kitchen. We would definitely not recommend Wickes for a kitchen. Even worse I have just been told that it is between us and the fitter! We were allocated the fitter by Wickes .
Update 7/5 Still no contact made by Wickes despite message below.

The staff were very helpful and polite and super Mike helped me to get the stones I needed as they were too heavy. The offer that was on the item also made them good value for the price. Would reccommend. Thank you i will be returning to get more items for my garden project.

Easy ordering, good staff too. John helped me by bringing my purchased top soil out to the car and loaded it into the boot for me which I was extremely grateful. Product is good quality and this is 2nd time I have been to this store and will be returning again in the future.

Jack at the Wickes Community Project was extremely helpful in getting donations for the Reception Outdoor Classroom at Nutgrove Methodist Primary School. The school were donated plant sleepers, stones and soil which will allow us to create a nature based learning environment for children. The Wickes Community Project was a straight forward process that was managed wonderfully by Jack who had our resources ready to collect in a timely manner. We are incredibly grateful.

A lesson in poor customer service, called in for one last piece of square downpipe, none in the rack so I asked if they had any in-stock to be told I don't know anything about plumbing, turned around to another staff member and then told none of us know anything about plumbing, quite what you need to know about plumbing to check stock is anyone's guess of to B&Q then

Even though paint has gone very expensive ,wicks was the better paint and way cheaper than bq and staff were amazing, showing me how to down load the wicks app for the discount! Particular the young lady mischa ! Whose parents must be so proud!👏👏
