Wickes - Sittingbourne Anmeldelser 

Bought a bathroom in January to be fitted at April. Waited 2 weeks before fitting, cancelled it, put to the back of the queue with the next fitting date at the end of July, cancelled again, no date in sight. NO communication, lots of apologies, no action. Been living around boxes for weeks. Absolute nightmare.

As a keen do it yourselfer I have made many trips to Wickes in Chatham and found them very helpful, especially with lifting and loading heavy goods. Not so in Sittingboure. I asked for advice for the best product to use. I was given the wrong information and a cursory wave of where to go. No offer of help with heavy lifting even though I am elderly. The store was not busy. The product itself, when I chose the correct one, was fine. 17/7 Someone called Dylan has just replied saying sorry about my experience in Chatham store- he didn't read my review correctly, Chatham store was fine. It was the Sittingbourne store I was reviewing!

Very helpful and friendly staff at the Sittingbourne branch. Assisted me with the purchase of a plumbing part and I have now fixed my leak.

Sarah (Sittingbourne branch) was super helpful in the design of my new bathroom, she was a huge support every step of the way, advising on fittings and colour schemes.
I actually chose her as my bathroom designer as she did such an amazing job of my new kitchen a few years ago. Could not recommend her highly enough.

Popped in too wicks ,couldn’t find what I was looking for ,then found someone who works in there he’s name was Angus so helpful very polite and I ended up finding what I needed ,was nice too go in there and actually find someone who was helpful and knew what they was on bout ,,was served by very friendly lady called Sharon

Had everything we needed and three tills manned . Sharon, the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful.

Bought a kitchen last august. The fitter done an amazing job . I bought one of them special taps were you can boiling water to make a cupper. February this year im getting water come between the tap and work surface. Iv had to go back to a kettle hoping wicks would sort the problem . The tap broke in February and is under warranty but will wicks come out and replace it . So far no help from wicks. The kitchens are amazing but the after care is appalling and their customer service team is not much better .

Bought a complete kitchen , fantastic design by Paul Osbourne, he knows his job! We are entirely happy with the quality of the units .Installed by Wickes fitters Bunkall & Reynolds to the highest standard .

I ordered my new kitchen from Paul Osborne at the Sittingbourne site. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. The kitchen was a very reasonable price and looks fantastic.
Highly recommend.

What an asset to your store

A review for my trip to Sittingbourne branch to purchase a cloakroom toilet and vanity basin. I was served by a very polite and extremely knowledgable young man called NOAH and also very patient with a women aged 76 with very little knowledge if what to buy. Well done NOAH. Wicks Sittingbourne look after this young man.

From start to finish the whole process has been fantastic. The design, delivery and fitting was just great and we are so happy with the final kitchen.
Andy who came to fit the kitchen did a fantastic job and took the time with the little details to make it look neat.

From design through to completion we had excellent service when it came having a new kitchen from Wickes. Paul Osborne, at the Sittingbourne store, listened to exactly what we wanted at the design stage and managed to come up with a way of achieving it even when it was not straight forward and other companies had said it would not be possible. He was then on hand to answer any questions throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble for the fitter Wickes supplied either, who was very professional and efficient in his work for us.

I've been into the Sittingbourne Wickes several times recently and each time everyone there has been really helpful. Thank you Luke and Leah! It is so nice when people really listen to you and give you good practical advice without ever talking down to you. Today it was Ollie, really helpful, and who gave me great advice. I had some paint which had been stored for a few years and had separated. Ollie suggested that I should buy a mixer which you can attach to an electric drill. And it worked wonderfully. Just as he said it would! So pleased. Best customer service in Sittingbourne! I shall always go to Wickes now, not "that other big DIY store" !

Big shoutout to Luke today at Wickes Sittingbourne, very helpful in lifting heavy bags of sand into our trolley and then into the boot of our car. You should definitely look after good staff like that.

I made a purchase today and whilst loading my vehicle I dropped my wallet in the car park . I hadn’t realised this . A member of the public picked it up and handed it into the store . Bruce from Wilco’s turned up at my door. He saved the day . This is excellent customer service and shows care and a great attitude . Thank you Bruce for saving the day much appreciated Derek Hall

Contacted customer services after an item was never delivered. I had to fight customer services to pay attention to my concern, to actually read it fully, instead of sending back irrelevant replies.
The lady advisor seemed uninterested in helping me.
I was sent a ridiculous proof of posting photograph which showed, no door. Just household rubbish that was outside my house.
There was a sign on my door saying do not leave parcels, but Wickes deliveries ignored this.

I was not treated like a loyal trade customer at all.
It took a long time to get a full refund back, and I even had to report it to the police to be able to receive my return!
I spend 1000s at wickes for my business. And I was literally treated disgustingly!

This is oviously the service that Wickes wants their customer services reps to have towards customers contacting them.
So in my opinion, they are telling us to shop else where. And that is exactly what my business will be doing from now on!

Wickes in Sittingbourne saved the day when the delivery (an outside agency might I add) let them and I down… Sue and Lucy were wonderful!

I’d opted for delivery as I have special needs children and I’m not the strongest. When it didn’t land they leapt to my aid, delivering me my much needed kitchen floor.

After quite a week they have restored my faith in people and big companies. I really am truly grateful! Not all heroes wear capes, some rock a blue top and a high-vis.

I am quite fit but I am 82. I was collecting a large order of sand, cement and paving slabs from your Sittingbourne store. It is a great feature of your Stores that staff select the goods purchased and place them on trolleys ready for collection.
This was magnified by the generally happy and helpful attitude of the staff and in particula Lara, who not only gave me helpful instruction on the use of the trolleys but herself helping to push them to my van, and offering to help with the loading.
A complete service that stood out in its quality and helpfulness. You certainly don't find it everywhere, even in 2025!!
