Wickes - Kettering Anmeldelser 

Bought a kitchen from wickes and we had to contact them about missing parts but was resolved quick but we bought a dishwasher at the same time and after two uses it broke down we called customer support and they asked us to send a video of the fault and they would send it to the supplier which we done . Then after thinking about it i called them back to ask for a replacement as we had only used it twice i was told its up to the supplier and can take up to 72 hours for a response i asked to be put through to a manager the lady informed me no i couldn’t about this problem as they can’t change the outcome i said can i just speak to a manager she said yes i can put you on the call back list but can take 72 hours i feel now wickes have our money they don’t want to help us resolve this quickly 72 hours then might need to wait for an engineer for a dish washer used twice.

I believe there is no other place to buy a kitchen from other than Wickes. This is my 6th kitchen from them and each time they deliver the service you want and expect. Simon Burton at the Kettering branch is a design consultant you would want to help you through the journey. He is a pleasure to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Simon.

I have had a great experiece, been served but lovely customer service Amy :) top class service.

We ordered a new bathroom from wickes on the 17th may 2026, with the installation arranged for the 3rd August 2026. We planned everything around this date, including taking time off work,as this was the only period we were able to arrange leave.unfortunately,nobody contacted us regarding the installation,and there was no visit from an installer. Despite repeatedly contacting wickes and their support team, we were unable to get a clear answer about either the installation or the delivery of the bathroom. We were repeatedly told someone would get back to us, but this didn’t happen.
Eventually, after making more phone calls and having to go into the store ourselves,an installer finally contacted us on 13th August and arranged a visit for 21st August.
The bathroom was then eventually agreed to be fitted on 21st September-almost seven weeks after the original installation date of the 3rd August.
This has caused us a huge amount of unnecessary stress, frustration and sleepless nights. I work night shift, so having the installation date moved has caused additional problems with not being able to have time off work I had around six hours sleep the week of the installation.
For a bathroom costing £11,450, I expected a much more professional service and,most importantly,basic communication, we shouldn’t have had to repeatedly chase wickes,contact support make phone calls and physical vist the store just to find out what was happening with an installation we had already arranged.
The biggest disappointment is that we arranged everything around the original 3rd August date, only for the installation to be delayed and for us to be left chasing for answers.
At this stage,I am extremely disappointed with the service we have received from wickes. Spending £11,450 should not result In this level Of stress and poor communication.
I hope wickes takes this complaint seriously and looks into what went wrong because this has been a very disappointing experience from a company I expected much better from.

I chose Wickes to supply and install our bathroom because I wanted the reassurance of dealing with a large, established company if anything went wrong. I paid considerably more than other quotations because I believed that extra cost would provide a higher level of quality, accountability and customer service. Unfortunately, that has absolutely not been my experience.

To be clear, the contractor who carried out the installation was superb and I have no criticism of his work whatsoever.

However, during the installation it became apparent that the bathroom could not be fitted as originally designed because of the position of the soil stack. I informed Wickes of this, along with the fact that we also had to change the shower we had selected because there was insufficient capacity within the consumer unit for the original choice. To utilise the toilet I have to sit at an angle.

Once the installation was completed, it was immediately obvious that the sink unit specified was far too large for the bathroom. What should have been a relatively straightforward issue to resolve has now dragged on for more than three months.

During that time I have been passed repeatedly from one department to another, with seemingly nobody willing to take ownership of the problem. Most disappointingly, the store itself appears unwilling to accept any responsibility despite Wickes having designed, supplied and arranged the installation of the bathroom.

I deliberately chose Wickes and paid a premium precisely because I expected them to stand behind the service they were selling. Instead, the aftercare has been appalling.

I did not want to leave a negative review and have given Wickes more than enough opportunity to resolve the matter directly. After more than three months of chasing, however, I feel other customers deserve to know what my experience has been.

Based on the customer service and complete lack of ownership I have experienced once Wickes had received payment, I would strongly advise anyone considering using their bathroom design and installation service to think very carefully before doing so.

Excellent service from Tegen. Helped me with the paint selection, gave great tips and even carries it out to the car. Five star service!

Kettering Wickes is defo my favourite branch to shop at all the staff are great

I was served but Amy & Em this morning at my local Wickes store, they were very helpful and friendly, so not only did I get a great product but the service was excellent.

We brought some fence panels, posts etc a bit more expensive than we thought but the very helpful staff member Amy told us about the trade pro app which could save us some money, she asked if we would like one which we said yes and Amy set it up for us whilst we were there, we went away very happy knowing that when we go back to buy a kitchen we can get abut more discount off which would be a great help.

What a great experience and service from Wickes, Kettering.
Kitchen planner, Simon, was really knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't feel pressured whatsoever and felt listened to.
We decided to opt for the installation service too.....and we are so glad we did. Gints was absolutely amazing, he is really friendly, respectful and wow, what a worker! His attention to detail (to the millimetre) is astounding, such a professional installation, we can't speak highly enough of him.
If you're considering a Kitchen and installation, you won't regret using Wickes and their installation. We love it!

Great experience in store. We love visiting Wickes in Kettering for browsing and planning. Today bought a few bits and was served by Tegan who was very friendly and helpful.

Ordered online for the second time. 1st delivery was professional and impressive. This one however has made me rethink using this service again.

Placed the order for today waited all morning the same as before obviously this is a priority and you do everything you can to ensure the delivery is successful as workers are due to start the next day.

No phone calls to let me know the delivery was coming or that they were at the address.
I call wickes for an update and they tell me the driver has made two attempts to call and the delivery had failed.

The earliest they can do is 3 days later. When tradesman have been booked to start!

No attempts of helping the situation. Telling me we’ve attempted to contact when they didn’t, completely fobbed me off when the driver was at fault for not calling me.

Wickes will do nothing to resolve the situation when needed and will now just blame it on wincanton for a failed delivery.

I have a lot more to Order now and on the future and will probably not be using this service again.

After working a night shift and waiting all morning for such disappointment after the first delivery was such a success is complete 180!

I have a good experience today shopping at your place. Your staff was great especially Tegen she help alot especially setting up me trades account.
